A proper London Caff! The staff were very friendly and patient since I took a long to decide what to have out of the great variety of food. You can even build your own breakfast. It’s a very busy and popular place and fortunately it has more tables on the 2nd floor. A good hearty breakfast to start the day!

The best service restaurant in Vauxhall. The boss is super cute and nice. This is the first time i came to this restaurant but i will definitely come again! The food is amazing, must try their chicken doner! Will never forget the taste!

There is something special about meeting the owner especially when he offers you to try the kebab doner. Come in groups or if you are a loner, but let me tell you no space if you are a moaner. Portions are generous and big, options are plenty for vegetarians and those who like to eat the whole pig, I think there is even a cake with fig, A 5/5 spot, the kind I dig.

Lovely local gem for some breakfast/brunch, would highly recommend the Kennington Special and Mediterranean Breakfast! Fresh orange juice on the side was nice too. Portions are generous, prices are great, and the food tastes incredible! Left very satisfied. Everyone was very friendly, especially loved speaking with Halil!

Delicious food! We got full English breakfast, kebab and panini. Everything was really tasty, portions are big too. You can get full really easy. We had a chance being served by the place owner. He was super nice and friendly, recommended stuff and made jokes. Great experience! Definitely recommend!

One of the best breakfasts around. Near Vauxhall tube station all day breakfasts always hit the spot but everything on the menu very high quality. I'd go as far to say best mug of tea in London. Always service with a smile. Recommended.

We had some sandwiches and a panini at the family -run cafe. The food was great, affordable and reminds me of home, very tasty and filling. The owner Halil is very friendly and welcoming, chatting with us about our stay here in London; Kingsley is a fine young gentleman who is very responsible and smart. Halil even gave up some treats! Truly enjoyed their hospitality and would definitely recommend!

I find there is not many cafés in London now that do a proper English breakfast.. this one is an exception. I had the builders breakfast and added black pudding at an extra £2 so £9.50 and well worth it! Friendly staff clean tables outside and inside.. recommend it for breakfast 👍

Absolutely love this place. Best fry up in London and probably the world imo. The service is incredible as well and the staff are very friendly (Halil in particular is very charismatic!). Will always come here for a fry up and leave with a smile on my face

Delicious! Firstly the staff are wonderful and attentive. Halil is all about eye for detail and very friendly. Second, the food is great especially the Full English Breakfast, sandwiches and kebabs. Location is very convenient and close to Vauxhall tube and train station. Also next to the park, great vibe and environment. Definitely worth a visit, I’m particular on my Full English, Kennington Lane Cafe never disappoints. See you soon!

Great caff!! Cheap and cheerful. Excellent fry up and friendly staff. Very busy in the morning, especially if there's a cricket match on up the road. Breakfast options are good if you're looking for a good fry up. If you're in the area and hungry definitely worth a visit :)

Propa caf! Lovely ladies working there when I went a few weekends ago, very welcoming and friendly, delicious breakfast and excellent tea! What more do you want! Baked goods looked a treat, too. Have to try some next time.

Visiting from San Francisco, California. We had the Set 1 breakfasts, as a Full English would have been too much for us today. The Set 1 portions were huge and everything was delicious and well prepared. The proprietor and staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Service was quick and super attentive. Coffee was excellent! Thanks for a great breakfast and enjoyable experience!

We love the Kennington lane cafe! We discovered it a year ago and were immediately in love, bringing everyone we know here. The food is everything you want an English breakfast or cafe meal to be, with bursting flavour, generous offers, and personable management. The owner and his team remember every face, welcome everyone joyful smiles, and an ease atmosphere. (The place has two floors and they’re following regulations well. Many vegetarian options.) We can not recommend this place enough!

The right kind of place for a good English breakfast. Fantastic service, filling breakfasts (especially good sausages). Wonderfully cooked eggs. Super friendly staff which makes the experience particularly pleasant. Despite being busy, there hasn’t been much trouble finding a table.

Had a Delivery from Kennington lane cafe. As much as I would have liked it and the portion size was not too bad for smoked salmon, the quality was a lot to be desired. Smoked salmon was very very salty. Black pudding was way over cooked almost charcoal. Other items were acceptable but not overly exciting. It may taste different if it was eaten at the cafe straightaway but I would probably not be in a hurry to order a delivery from there.

Attentive staff, great atmosphere, amazing food. I recommend the chicken escalope with their homemade sauce 10/10. Halil is the man!

The fish and chips were fantastic! Hefty portion size and the fish was really nicely done, nice crispy batter with succulent fish inside. I think this is only served on a Friday. The service was so personal, very attentive and speedy. The chat / banter with the owner and other staff makes for a great dining experience!

Still my favourite breakfast spots in the area with great traditional food, and some very friendly staff! They went over and beyond on our breakfast today even replacing a sausage that we dropped. Can't wait to return.

YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE IF YOURE IN THE AREA. I’m visiting London and decided to try this place based on reviews and the reviews don’t do it justice. This place excels in the 2 most important things: service and food. The menu itself has loads of options but what’s spectacular is that everything tastes better than home cooking (if you can believe that). You can customize your breakfast plate, try some fresh cooked kebab chicken, or enjoy an incredibly made comfort food. My family runs a restaurant so I grew up in the industry and let me just say the service and friendliness here is a dying experience. It seems like a family owned restaurant and they just make you feel so at home it’s crazy. I went with my mother and we had asked what one of sides were called (bubble) because it was so good and they made us more on the house. Fresh, homemade, and one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while. The chef hand delivered it to us seemingly to just strike up a conversation and make us feel at home. I really can’t explain how good of an experience this cafe was but all I can say is this is one of the best breakfast, brunch, and dinner options in the area. If you don’t try it you’ll be missing out.

Had a lovely breakfast with my best friend in the early hours. Not the first time nor the last time I/we've been here. Atmosphere is always high, especially Halil with his bright spirits and amazing service. Option of vegetarian to cater to all. 10/10 🌟

Went here for a late night kebab on my way home… it did not disappoint! We went in to the cafe to wait for the kebab and the lovely owner gave us tasters of the chicken wings and koftas which were so good! Visited for breakfast whilst staying in the area. I opted for something different & had the Mediterranean Breakfast and other half had the a Kennington Special Breakfast. Food came really quickly, good service and very friendly staff, really enjoyed the food. Would certainly visit again, plus its a great stop off point in the way to The Oval if your heading there for a cricket match.

Wanted to get a really good English breakfast and we certainly did. Beyond expectation. The fried toast was a nice addition. Tea is so flavorful and embodies English tea! The wait staff is very friendly and prompt. They’re very attentive. We ate there three times during our stay in London. Definitely on the list to visit again on our next trip. Great traditional café for a proper full English breakfast! No frills interior full of people with really welcoming and friendly staff and very reasonable prices. A last great bastion of British food. A hidden gem which is incredibly popular with the locals for a reason. Took my full English to take away but there was great atmosphere so next time will eat in!

We've had an excellent breakfast. Tasty and very nutritious. So much so that we felt full 'till late afternoon - even after walking many miles through London. Drinks included, by the way. All at a very reasonable price!

Stopped in for breakfast on 26 August 2022. We each had a Full English Breakfast. The staff was friendly and the food was very good. The orange juice was fresh squeezed on site and the coffee was freshly brewed. It was a quiet morning and the owner took the time to check on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. As we were obviously tourists, the owner asked us where we were from and gave us some points of interest to check out in the area. Based on the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff, I would definitely recommend and will stop in again on my next trip to London.

Absolutely fantastic food! For 8.30gbp u get a full English Bfast and a coffee topped with coffee bits. The owner is very friendly and she makes excellent recommendations. Before coming here, I have not found any filling food for under 10gbp. Very pleased to have breakfast here. 😊

Great food and service. I had the shepherds pie and hubby had an omelette. Orange juice and coffee was great also. Halil was very entertaining and gave us a dessert and tea to try. Treated as great as tourists.
