What a fantastic dining experience! We visited the restaurant for our festive team lunch and we were all blown away. The hospitality is second to none, we were met and greeted by a lovely hostess who offered to take our coats and showed us our table which was perfectly set for our tasting menu. The service was impeccable from start to finish with strong attention to detail. The food was what one would expect from a high class restaurant, freshness, presentation, taste, temperature, choice of crockery etc. were all top class. And finally the personal approach from the team at Frescobaldi made it really special. Thank you liman

Turkish in London which isn’t Halal, so I decided to get the Cauliflower which I was really disappointed with, I had to drench it with the sauce, which actually was really nice, just to get some flavour. The fish my friend ordered was very nice but nothing really wow. I won’t be going back, the staff weren’t attentive and I didn’t feel like it was worth the money.

Pictures i posted are not the best being honest, you should definitely try this amazing place. Food is delicious, served in a very awesome way. Service is friendly and professional. It was my first time there but i discovered fantastic new gem at the Angel. Highly recommended.

I’m always skeptical heading into Turkish restaurants in gentrified areas, oftentimes I walk away disappointed with subpar taste and portion size BUT Liman does not disappoint! From the lovely friendly and accommodating staff to the tastefully decorated interior, you’ll walk into a warm (both figuratively and literally) environment. The food was well presented, bursting with flavour and maintained the Turkish standard of ensuring you walk (roll?) out of the restaurant full and happy. We ordered quite a few starters and main so I won’t describe them one by one, just feast your eyes until on the pics! Go go go there :)

Visited for a team lunch (11 persons) we pre-ordered the starters and mains so everything went very smoothly. Amazingly I think it was all cooked by 1 chef ! And the place was busy. Came here on a Sunday with a friend for lunch. I had made a reservation in advance seeing how many reviews this place has got so I assumed it would have been packed on a Sunday but it was literally empty apart from one table outside. We went with the cold mix mezze as a starter and it was fantastic. It came with 5 types of dips essentially and some seasoned pita bread on the side which was so so delicious. Bread was soft and fluffy and went well with the hummus, baba ghanoush, cacik, tabbouleh and braised aubergine. Then for mains, we went for the lamb skewers with rice and the chicken in yoghurt sauce with croutons. Again, both were super delicious and flavourful. Lamb was cooked to perfection, soft and tender and super well-marinated which went well with the rice. Chicken was juicy and tender also and the tomato and yoghurt sauce was so moreish I kept dipping the lamb into the sauce too. Interesting ingredient choice of croutons in the chicken dish which added more crunchy texture to the dish and made it fun to eat. Service was good but I won't say outstanding, staff were nice and friendly. I loved the interior design with the modern choice of pink chairs and glasses on wooden tables. It's very stylish yet it feels cosy at the same time. Can see it being a great date location too. Would be happy to come back soon!

Liman is one of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve experienced. Excellent quality and variety of food, fresh and cooked to perfection, with good portion sizes. The ambiance is good and the seating well distributed so you’re not on top of other guests. The restaurant is always clean and consistent. Service is ok and the maître D is reserved but in control. They are very accommodating with times, numbers and children. I have been here many times and am yet to find something on the menu that wasn’t pleasing. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially fans of Mediterranean cuisine.

The lamb chops are next level. Seasoned and grilled PERFECTLY. Had the Berries mix (cold meze, hot meze and meats) and it was very tasty. I will come back to try the rest of the menu! Lovely and quick service as well. Cute and cozy vibes. Overall, great dining experience.

After 5 years since the last time here, the restaurant didn't disappoint. Exceptional food, quality and taste! The salmon with spinach with potatoes was perfect. I just missed the amazing entry bread with humus. The fresh juice top notch!

Came here for a late lunch on Thursday and was pleasantly surprised how fantastic the food was. Lamb kofte and lamb shish were one of the best we’ve had. The meat was so tender and all the sauces were obviously homemade. The set lunch menu was reasonably priced at 17.90 for two courses. Baklava was divine.

Delicious food and great service at Liman. The lamb shish and charred cauliflower were standouts, as was the baklava dessert. They really looked after us and it was a lovely WFH lunch time break. Would definitely go back!

Mega place! I am biased because I am obsessed with Turkish food but we came here at a spur of the moment, we had an hour and 15 mins to eat as they managed to fit us in despite being fully booked. We wanted stuff we could share and we got a feast! It came out swiftly, it was sooooo tasty gosh, I felt like I had a full meal which is exactly what you want to feel. So satisfying and I cannot wait to come here again for a longer session. My favourite dishes were the pastries, the hummus and the aubergine dishes mmm.

Amazing Mediterranean restaurant - food beyond expectations, best grilled fish we’ve ever had in London (Sea Bream). Pricing to portion size ratio is excellent. Beware portions are big! Cosy atmosphere, overall great place and would highly recommend to everyone.

One of our favourite restaurant. The food is so good and the portion size is generous too. Lamb chops and mixed grills are especially worth a try. The place is big and is hygienic. They even have few outdoor seatings which is a plus. Staff is friendly and service is also quick. Would definitely recommend this fabulous place to any one who is craving for a Turkish delights. A five star worth place.

The Calamari and chicken wings are delicious, the chilli sauce is also very good. The rice is amazing, so is the chicken shish. The Lamb Beyti was the best dish I tried. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and like Turkish/Mediterranean food.

So glad I have this place right around the corner. Absolutely delicious, authentic and fresh Turkish food in a great atmosphere and helpful service. The whole staff is Turkish and happy to give recommendations - the aubergine dip, the vine leaves and the adana kebab were all great, and we got complimentary bread (freshly baked) to mop up all the sauces. Do NOT skip dessert - the baklava is everything you want it to be. Top marks!

One of the best pasta dishes I have had in my life. The kebab mixed grill was delicious. Very nice environment too, and the service is top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Food was nice - great selection of dips but service wasn't great. We had to ask several times for drinks and they never came until we asked a third time. We had the banquet starters and mains but only had the waiter come over once at the start where they took the order.

I was having a lunch in a Sunday but had to come back home due a emergency call from work, so I took the main food as take away. Well, it was really delicious. I will come back and post some pictures next time.

I booked for a group of 5 people and the booking process was nice and easy. I had to wait for an email confirmation which didn't take too long to come. The food at this place is brilliant, really fresh and full of flavour. Very tender and juicy meat cooked perfectly. It was a real treat. The staff are friendly and the service was decent, however they were short on staff so when the restaurant got busier, the service became slow.

We ordered - Grilled Salmon - Sea Bream - Liman Ellie’s Salad - Fresh apple juice TAKEAWAY - Chicken kebab with yoghurt I personally had the sea bream and tried the salmon both were really good! I hear the chicken kebab was good also! Had the following not happened, I would have marked this a 4/5 star experience for sure! 1. We ordered the chicken kebab to go for a friend but there was a mix up with our order and I think the two waitresses pressed separate orders for our kebabs, one regular and the other with the yoghurt… we wanted the one with yoghurt and waited quite some time for it… As we waited we got the bill but were charged for both kebabs even though we only ordered one! This was quickly resolved however which we appreciated. 2. More importantly, I had food poisoning later that evening from my food, I knew it was from there as I hadn’t really eaten much aside from toast earlier in the day as it was a particularly busy day. It was so disappointing as I say the food was enjoyable on all accounts but yes it certainly didn’t end well for me sadly.

We ordered a variety of dishes through Uber Eats, all of which were perfect. Good portions, fresh, and all very tasty. Also, possibly the best rice pudding I have ever had. Thank you.

We went here for a weekend treat as we love the Turkish food in London, but having been to a lot of amazing ones I’d have to say Limon would be in my top 3. The mezze options are plenty and there is a lot of choice for vegetarians too. We had a bunch of starters from the Cicik and Hummus, to the halloumi and courgette fritters and each one was amazing. The restaurant was super busy but the staff were really friendly and helpful throughout. Eli in particular was really engaging and a perfect host. Just the kind of hospitality you’d accept from a Turkish restaurant. Must visit!! (And my photo did not do the spread enough justice!)

Visited this restaurant whilst London was in Tier 2, having been unable to secure a booking before. Online reviews give this place a 5 - so the stakes were high. My husband and I travelled to North London and it was the last date night dinner for a while. The food was incredibly mediocre to say the least. We ordered the king prawns and beef sujuk to start, lamb shish for mains. Each dish was doused in salted butter and therefore you couldn't taste much else. Overall - bland and underwhelming. The service on the other hand was good. Waiters/waitresses were attentive (husband complained of female waitress Ellie being a little too attentive - lol). Unfortunately if you're visiting a restaurant with high expectations of the food, no amount of over compensating for service can make up for what the food lacks. We were given some complimentary bakhlava at the end of the meal and asked to leave a review. I'm inclined to believe all of the previous reviewers on here either don't know good food, or are simply and easily swayed by their sweet tooth. If you want good Turkish food, there are much better options on Green lanes, where the food has many more dimensions of flavour and is well cooked. I recommend you save your £££ and steer clear of this establishment - unless you're feeling flush and in need of a sodium boost.

Hidden gem! This place has a quaint feel, and great ambiance. Food was amazing and they kept bringing over more bread. Reasonably priced and would definitely come back again!!

Lovely tasty with huge portions

Where do I start...Read amazing reviews about Liman online and was wondering if all the rave reviews were true. Excitedly my wife and I decided to drive 55mins and I must admit that we were blown away by quality of the food and also the quantity. The pictures I took does not do the food justice as that was my fault. I enjoyed the food so much I bought a takeaway after my meal. I have eaten all over the world and this is definitely my favourite place for price and quality. Even better that the quality in quality in Turkey. Look forward to my next visit.

Went there for lunch had their lunch special and it was delicious! Falafel tasted fresh and the kofte kebab was amazing seasoned to perfection. The waiter also had excellent customer service gave baklava as a gesture which also taste great. Highly recommend and will deffo return

This place deserves more hype. Such amazing food and amazing lunch set menu as well. I’ve been here a couple times and have had the chicken and lamb shish here. In terms of appetisers I prefer the falafel. I’ve had the corn fritters they were quite alright. It’s a very small beautiful place with talented chefs and beautiful cutlery etc. 10/10 will visit again

Excellent food and service from Elif - she was so friendly and so attentive in making our experience so so delightful. I am vegetarian and the food was just exquisite. However, my only criticism is that the staff should wear their masks at all times and the staff should enforce all customers to wear masks (subject to exemptions) whilst they are walking to the toilet - many did not and it did not feel Covid secure snd felt very uncomfortable at times. This can hopefully be encouraged through better signage and encouragement. Other than this issue, the experience was great and I would highly recommend people to book dinner here - there’s a long waiting list and truly worth it!

We ordered from liman at least once a week last year. Incredible tender lamb. Absolutely delicious food for the entire family. Cannot wait for it to open up again. We miss the food so much!

We went to Richard's Kitchen today - the first place we've been to eat since lockdown started - and had a fantastic lunch (the perks of working from home!!). The food was absolutely delecious and so reasonable. I had fish cakes to start and goats cheese main. We've been to Richard's before and it's always great food and great service. Would really recomend it!

Richards is a gem. I have been for brunch once, it was delicious and better then most London brunch spots in both quality and value for price. I have also ordered take out twice during the pandemic. I have gotten the cheese burger and chip which are homemade with fresh ingredients and once again good value for price. I will definitely be back.

Basic menu and plain food. They serve wine in cheap little IKEA water glasses. We also got asked to move tables mid meal as they had missed a booking from earlier in the week. Also other people complaining about the table that sits at the front door. Poorly managed restaurant.

Good food, well cooked, lovely local atmosphere. My only gripe was the custard that came with my rhubarb and plum pudding was cold. Warm, gooey custard would have been a fitting end to a pleasant evening out.

Had a really lovely dinner here last night, Richard was really really accomadating for my friend and I when we asked for vegan options (annoyingly doing veganuary). On the spot came up with loads of options that all sounded amazing - beetroot and aubergine salad and a polenta and chargrilled veg main. Everything we ordered was really delicious and massive portions - my dad had a steak the size of his head! can't wait to come back again when not doing veganuary so I can try the cheese gnocchi

Best Turkish food I've had for a while. A couple of excellent Turkish wines on the menu. Smokey eggplant, pan fried scallops, pita, lamb kebabs all handled with delicacy and subtlety. Recommended. Nice decor, tablecloths, good service.

Liman is a restaurant I will visit again and introduce new people to. The decor is calming, the music is chilled and the staff are pleasant. The food is tasty and the meat is succulent 👌 Slight let down was that they never had chicken wings. Seating by the door can get cold but staff do try their best to keep it warm with the heating above the door. Either way I would visit again.

Without any reservations, bustled into Liman Thurs ~7pm.. place was full but got a table for 2 With the heater blaring on full blast (thank you!), the vibe was cozy.. and comfortable Servers were hyper-attentive.. and made us feel very welcomed Got two starters + two mains Starters Halloumi fries: aaamazing! better than average, some of the best I’ve tasted in London. Fresh halloumi.. heated to perfection.. bathed in a light oil and vinaigrette.. served w/ warm buttered thin lavash-style bread and tomatoes Falafel: solid! Crispy, fresh and what you’d expect from a good Mediterranean restaurant. Humus was good.. though could have been more of it given four falafel pieces (nobody wants to bite or chew dry falafel!) Mains Salmon: good! On par with expectations, nothing to write home about.. 7.5/10. Spinach with the dish was tasty Sea bass: tasty though the tiny bones weren’t my favorite. Accompanying mashed potatoes and spinach were delicious Likely will be back.. great vibes, welcoming, cozy, healthy food. Was great for a first date where music wasn’t too loud and atmosphere wasn’t over the top
