Super attentive and kind people with a very relaxed atmosphere. Foods are served in the exact pace as you eat them so there’s no significant delay at all. Dishes were boasting various techniques and origins of culture, and they were plated with excellence. Taste was also superb where you can feel the fresh ingredients used. For the uninitiated, they also provided a whole guide of wine selecting with diagrams based on what kind of taste you are looking for, meaning that it’s also a very friendly place for people who are trying a Michelin restaurant for the first time.

Went for our anniversary dinner and it was great. The staff were all on form from start to finish. Was such a nice evening. The food was fantastic and the wine pairings too. What a treat. Highlights were the Blue Grey for me and lobster for my wife.

We had the pleasure of dining at Petrus. Truly a once in a lifetime experience with a level of customer service and engagement I've never had at a restaurant. Everyone is working together to provide a top notch meal. Kudos to the entire staff. The decor is absolutely lovely as well

Food underwhelming. Service felt awkward. Had higher expectations from Gordon Ramsay. The salmon was way over cooked, rest of the food was alright. The layout of the restaurant is very bizarre which makes you feel like you are being watched by all the other diners around you. Our package included a tour of the kitchen but we had to ask/remind our waiter which also felt a bit awkward. The bathroom had red lighting which was also a bit off putting. We did purchase the degustation as a deal online, maybe they treat other customers differently.

Well, I don’t really know why I am writing this - who relies on a Google review for a Michelin starred restaurant? But anyway, letting aside that this is obviously a place where you will spend a lot of money and can spend even more, this is also a place where professional and attentive service will bring a excellent food, helping the restaurant to provide you with an experience as special and rare as it will probably get for all those people like me, who just treat themselves with something exquisite for once. If I’d earn more, I’d go there more often. As things are, I might be my only visit. But it was an enjoyable one.

Beautiful space with beautiful and delicious food! It's not only dinner, but it's an experience and one worth the investment. The space is fabulous, the service impeccable, and the food does not disappoint. We went for my birthday dinner and it was delightful in every way. The sommelier was fabulous and we enjoyed speaking with him. I highly recommend the wine pairing!

A very enjoyable afternoon of dining. We had the lunch menu. Very impressive dishes bursting with flavour along with exceptional service standards. We enjoyed a long afternoon in this beautiful restaurant. No rush and plenty of time to enjoy some splendid wines, champagne and gins. The cheese board was perhaps the best I have ever had!

Fantastic service! Loved the food especially the scallops. My friend and I were celebrating her birthday and we had such a great time. Thank you to everyone at Petrus for making my friends birthday a special one.

I was very pleased with my visit. I suffer from anxiety and am on the spectrum so eating can be difficult for me. Especially since when I travel. But it has always been a dream of mine to go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and try the scallops. Going into the restaurant I was greeted by friendly and professional staff. The lighting was low and the walls a deep red with an almost wooden texture I enjoyed a lot. The environment was clean and perfect. I was an anxious mess due to my own personal issues but ordered the scallops and cod. I was pleasantly surprised by all the add ons you received. Such as small bite size creations and bread/butter. I was extremely full after just a starter and main course (sadly had to pass on dessert) but the staff still gave me some delicious treats at the end. The lemon biscuits are out of this world! Everything was a work of art. You can really tell the designer of the menu has a artistic eye. The use of edible flowers and other dish components really made the dishes pop! I also enjoyed that everything was edible and not just for show. I wonderful touch. The colours used in the cod dish where my favorite. Such warm earthy colors along with an earthy taste reminded me of a perfect autumn day. I was sad when I couldn’t finish the dish. The portions may look small but they pack a punch! I was so full. Overall an experience I would recommend to everyone. It’s expensive but it’s a once in a life time experience you won’t forget.

We enjoyed a lovely meal. The food was excellent in every respect. The vegetarian menu was also very good and inventive. Dishes are very small but at the end of the tasting menu and the desserts you don’t feel hungry. Waiters were for the most part very service oriented, though there were some lapses in wine pouring etiquette and leaning over patrons while refilling water glasses. Also, the booking process could have been smoother. Cooks in kitchen were very charismatic and happy for guests to look around and to explain what they did. We had the chance to sit both in the main dining room and at the chef’s table in the kitchen. The main dining room is comfortable but nothing special in terms of decor. The chef’s table seating is showing its age but you get to see the kitchen work while you eat. There are no food smells yo worry about. We enjoyed a meal to remember for sure.

Staff were attentive yet not invasive, food was amazing, we had a six course sharing menu, but also had aperitifs, cheeseboard, etc. It was just the right amount of food - I am a big eater, and left satisfied. Wine pairing was absolutely worth it, although the £70 a glass wine was disappointing - the other wines were equally as good. Overall the experience was outstanding - it was expensive, but you really do get what you pay for, beautiful venue, amazing staff, great service and delicious food

I had high expectations of Petrus and this absolutely did not disappoint - everything about the experience was incredible. I came here with a friend to celebrate her birthday and ordered the tasting menu, along with champagne and a bottle of red that the sommelier helped us pick (which was exactly what we were after!). The food was unbelievably good; so much detail in every bite. Wonderful flavours and techniques in every course, and as a whole the menu complimented each course beautifully. The standouts for us were the scallops and the lamb. The warm miniature Madeleines with the pre-dessert were amazing too and so cute! Massive thank you to the staff - they were all so attentive, caring and knowledgeable and really made you feel at ease, something you don’t always get with fine dining. They were all so warm and genuine which really elevated an already great experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Petrus has a 5 star food standards rating from Dec 2019. The place feels very clean and almost a bit sterile, but more in that later. We went mid week for a business dinner, Petrus was relatively empty and we were seated almost in the middle of the window frontage, amplifying the emptiness(sterile) for us! We werent overheard which is nice though and there ws little or no background music thank god. I've noticed at other restaurants they have mentioned on the phone if the place will be "loud", but I booked online and there was no advice on music or not. Food wise we were well looked after with nice looking starter and mains. The pouring of the champange was a little elaborate and I thought over the top but maybe some like that. Portion sizes are small so bring a good budget if you expect to be full afterwards. Otherwise enjoy that what you are served will look quite beautiful, taste lovely but not be a large portion. Not quite as wow as I expected but very decent.

Honestly, the food here was quite good, but the service was brutal. This is BY FAR the worst starred restaurant I’ve eaten in. Total disappointment. We asked 4 times for a drink list. It only came AFTER we paid our bill. I found that so odd. The waitress accidentally spilled my water on me. Totally fine - these things happen! But then told us she’d have to charge us for more. Even though she knocked it over. Also, it’s just water, lady. You really need to charge? One dish was just dumped and not explained at all. Not the biggest deal, but just odd for a place of this caliber. It felt like there were a ton of staff, but none really knew what to do. It seemed uncoordinated. Again, no complaints about the food. Was it the best I’ve had? No. Not by any means. But it was good! I just feel this place is mismanaged and needs a shakeup.

I had dinner here tonight and i felt small. Very small to be surrounded by culinary superstars while i know nothing about fine dining at all. The food was excellent. Even things i usually dont really like are made to perfection and several times i felt grateful to be able to taste it. The staff was super friendly and professional. So also big complement to each and everyone of them! The prices are high but i heard Gordon Ramsay just had another baby so i guess he needs all the financial support he can get! 😝

I recently had the privilege of indulging in the Prestige Menu at Pétrus, and it was an extraordinary culinary journey that surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warmth and elegance, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The Prestige Menu at Pétrus showcases the true mastery of their talented chefs, with each dish meticulously crafted to perfection. The menu seamlessly combines classic French techniques with innovative flavors, resulting in a harmonious symphony of tastes that delighted my palate. The service at Pétrus was flawless, with an attentive and knowledgeable staff who anticipated my needs without being intrusive. The attention to detail was commendable, and every aspect of the evening was meticulously taken care of, ensuring that I felt like royalty throughout my dining experience.

I’ve wrote enough poor reviews when something isn’t right, this isn’t going to be one of those. Petrus has a reputation to live up to, and it certainly does that. Gordon Ramsay’s Pétrus, situated in the heart of London, is a beacon of culinary excellence, setting the standard for fine dining in the city. From the moment one steps into the elegantly appointed dining room, it becomes evident that this experience will be nothing short of extraordinary. The ambiance at Pétrus is a seamless blend of sophistication and warmth. The restaurant’s interior, with its striking wine cellar at the core, creates a luxurious yet inviting atmosphere. This setting is perfect for those special occasions when only the best will do, or even for a discerning diner seeking an exceptional meal in a relaxed environment. What truly sets Pétrus apart, however, is its impeccable service. The staff exemplify professionalism and hospitality, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. From the moment you are welcomed at the door, the team at Pétrus ensures every detail is attended to, making diners feel both valued and pampered. Their knowledge of the menu and the wine list is impressive, providing tailored recommendations that enhance the dining experience significantly. The culinary offerings at Pétrus are nothing short of spectacular, with each dish reflecting Gordon Ramsay’s signature innovation and finesse. The menu is a celebration of the best of British and French cuisines, with every ingredient thoughtfully sourced and every plate meticulously presented. The flavours are complex yet harmonious, showcasing a level of craftsmanship that can only be achieved by a kitchen operating at the peak of its powers. There was no way the staff could have known the tough week we had both had, there was a potential of a Michelin star restaurant to be stuffy and pretentious, this is far from that. The whole experience had the ability to completely change our mood any energise us for the weeks ahead. In conclusion, Pétrus by Gordon Ramsay is not just a restaurant; it is an institution that epitomises the pinnacle of gastronomic excellence. The combination of its welcoming and professional staff, sublime cuisine, and elegant ambiance makes it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in London’s finest dining experience. Whether for a special occasion or a culinary adventure, Pétrus promises an unforgettable journey through taste, service, and sophistication. Genuinely thank you for giving my wife and I the perfect evening.

Everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment you walk in you feel like you’re in for the experience of a lifetime. I’ll be honest, fine dining isn’t really my thing and I find it to be quite pretentious in general. Petrus has elements of personality and the overall feeling is one of enjoyment, rather than pretentiousness. The food was top notch, as expected. The wine pairings, although not all to my personal taste, were varied and paired excellently by the sommelier. The highlight for me though was the waiter (Cain) designated to our table. Cain was the factor throughout the evening that made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxing. He was outstanding at the “waiter” part of his job, and utterly brilliant at adding personality to the evening. Whatever he is being paid, isn’t enough. Not sure how to give anything but 5 ⭐️ , I’d like to go back again once I’ve sold my other kidney.

5/9 I ate here 6 months ago, so it's likely that the menu has already changed, but now that I've tried more Michelin-starred restaurants, I can comment with more authority: The food was delicious overall, with special and unique flavors. It's an experience that you must have if you enjoy this type of restaurant, so highly recommended. However, my rating is based on the fact that out of the 9 individual dishes, I can only remember the taste of 5, which were truly spectacular, and I have attached a photo of them. The portion size was just right, neither too much nor too little. Unfortunately, the cocktails and desserts were very disappointing. The presentation of the dishes was elegant and well-done. I will definitely come back.

Delightful experience. We had 2 Discovery and 1 Prestige menus. The array of foods was exquisite with wonderful flavors and interesting combinations. Several additional amuse bouche and canapes included as well. Incredible wine list too. Service was impeccable and friendly. Great pace to the evening. We never felt rushed and took over 2 hours to complete the meal. Nothing pretentious and comfortable setting. Loved this gastric journey.

Overpriced for such an Average food. Arrogant chef. Not to mention the ridiculous prices for such a normal taste of food which honestly it felt disappointing. The time frequency between the food was absolutely too long. Stayed there for 3 hours as if it was brunch. I’m sorry not sorry, but I’m not recommending this definitely. There are better places and lower prices.

The scallop was my fav dish of the dinner, lamb was average and I didn’t like the how the eel was cooked. The wine recommended to us was matching well. The service was not very friendly but meeting the standards.

Obviously a well regarded restaurant and deserving of its accolades. The food was delicious and the service is top notch. We ate from the a la carte menu and enjoy the options. Your glass will never be empty and you will be treated to a few surprises. Highly recommended if you are looking for a special evening out.

We came for lunch and chose the Prestige menu (6 appropriately sized courses). Every dish was prepared well, near perfect. But no dish stood out as a combination we’ve never had before or a bite we’d dream of for years to come. Maybe that’s too much to expect at the 1 star level. You come here for a delicious meal and that’s exactly what you’ll get. If you’re uninterested/inexperienced with fine dining, this will be memorable (though perhaps overpriced for the value you get). Atmosphere was bland though quiet and a good location. Interior is particularly outdated and uninspiring. Staff was cordial but didn’t feel like they went out of their way to make us feel special (which is what we’ve experienced at other Michelin restaurants).

Named after the very expensive French wine, It has a very nice interior . Sat at the far left towards the window in a lovely circular table- was very private as we were a distance away from the next table. Had the tasting menu-Pretige. It was very nice - a few outstanding dishes: the scallops- probably the best i have ever had. The tart fine was nice. The mains of cod was good and so was the lamb but wasn’t outstanding as the pea purée did not work well to accompany the meat. The main desert was excellent as was the petit fours. Wines was good- tip: get the wine list prior to visiting as it’s 70 pages long. Service was attentive with french accent waiters. Also: do ask the sommelier if you can have a look at their wine cellar/ fridge in the middle of the room.

Had a lovely lunch with the family at Perry’s last week. We had the business lunch set and was left very very full. The highlight for me was the pork and the tomato consommé - the meat was very succulent and the soup was very refreshing. The service was also very professional.

Food was delicious from start to finish. My favorite dish was the Organic Spelt Ragout. Servers were very nice and the ambiance is just like any other michelin starred fine dinung restaurants. They were also very nice to give us an Anniversary card for me and my boyfriend.
