Amazing food, amazing service, amazing venue. The steak was perfectly cooked, the tartar seasoned deliciously and the wait staff so so attentive. 5 stars for a 5 star restaurant.

We had dinner here. The place is very nice and well-decorated. The food, too, was delicious. The service, though, was not up to the looks and vibes of the place. There was no smile from the employees whatsoever; for example, we had to order the check three times to receive it. One of the employees was quite rude. Only the young man who waited for us was the good person to have received service from.

The staff of this restaurant are amazing. They are super friendly and professional. The reservation team were also great. The restaurant was fully booked, however they managed to fit us in when I explained how much‌ we like this place. Steak is always great. I suggest fillet over rib-eyes. The atmosphere is amazing. Will definitely recommend Berners Tavern.

Exceeded expectations and would highly recommend! We had breakfast here. Tea was outstanding and so was the food. Loved the atmosphere so much that we stayed a little longer and had a cappuccino. This lived up to the hype! Very reasonably priced, too. My one recommendation is to make reservations very far in advance if you’d like to do high tea!

Excellent food and impressive decor. However there is a cold atmosphere where there is a pressure to over buy (they asked us 5 times in one hour if we needed Champaign). That kind of pressure that is making you feel uncomfortable.

A must while in London. The atmosphere is lovely and makes you feel like you’re in high society. When the atmosphere and service is top-notch, you half expect the food to slack because you’re usually paying for the experience, but that’s not the case here. Everything was delicious! We had the Nosey Neighbour cocktail and a glass of champagne from the cart, then had the ribeye, mixed salad, roasted lemon sole (highly recommend), broccoli; and our daughter got the breaded chicken from the kids menu. We ended our meal with the Coconut Alaska. We haven’t finished a single meal while in London, but we finished everything here. My waist line is yelling at me, but my mouth is happy. Highly recommend!!

Plush restaurant setting, spacious and decorated very nice. Food was perfect, 3 tasty and enjoyable courses. Love the champagne trolley going around, nice touch that most places don't have. Expensive, but justified with setting, service and food quality.

Absolutely brilliant place, I love the decor and general amazing ambience. Attention to detail in every aspect. The staff are amazing and the venue is phenomenal. I could not find fault, from the drink choice to the luxury food, amazing food!!! This is an unassuming place and the name definitely doesn't do it justice, but that in itself is great. I would highly recommend this place as a restaurant, or an opulent event space with versatile use.

Great vibes. Food was really good, just a touch pricey for what you get. Overall thoroughly enjoyed. Do recommend. Would rate 4.5/5 but not an option.

Beautiful place. We had 2 courses lunch. Starting with beef tartare and prawn cocktail, and both were delicious. Main dishes were also good, but I really loved the starters. BTW, floor manager Fabio was fabulous 🩷 Date of visit : 8 Oct, 2023

Beautiful interior, excellent service and very friendly staff. I spent a lovely evening here. The Berners Tavern house salad was good. We had the Cote de Boeuf to share which was also yummy. Then the chocolate and raspberry slice was very nice. I would recommend this place and I would love to try their breakfast and Sunday lunch in the future.

Known for its Mac n Cheese and the lobster mac n cheese was delicious! Very rich and complex in flavor! We also ordered the Halibut and heirloom tomato salad which were both good.

Delightful in every possible way. It was the best service we’ve received at a restaurant in years. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere stunning. We were absolutely and totally impressed with this experience. The only regret is that I’m limited to five stars.

The decor, service and food were great, but the vegan options were very limited and had way smaller portions compared to the normal menu, yet I was still charged the same price as though I had eaten the lamb or steak which I think was too abusive given my dish had nothing but salad and vegetables... I think it's too overpriced for the quality.

Berners is a place that is both fun and offers superior service! We enjoyed excellent dishes, amazing wine pairings (Francesco is our favourite sommelier there - never misses a chance to impress us) and super friendly and engaging service. We will come back very soon!

Service was flawless, decor was outstanding. The wait staff were really knowledgeable about the history of the building and gave us lots of amazing little facts. As a vegetarian, I had the focaccia which was amazing, the risotto which was ok, and the chocolate hazelnut tart which was also ok. Probably better if you eat meat.

Did not eat there, only stayed at the amazing hotel but we did peek in. Gorgeous room! I have no doubt the food is incredible. The atmosphere is very posh & comfortable. We'd have stopped if only we had more time!

We were staying at the London Edition. Breakfast was included, so we had our morning coffee and food there three days in a row. The staff was nice and greeted us before seated. The breakfast options were many and easy to choose from. The interior was stunning and inspiring, especially we were designers. The best after dessert is the chef's special crepe!!!

4/5 stars The atmosphere here is wonderful, creating a really enjoyable dining experience. The service was a mixed bag—some staff were incredibly friendly, while others seemed stressed and gave off the impression they wanted us to hurry up. The food was generally good, with the mac & cheese being the standout dish. Definitely worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Berners Tavern. It’s just off Oxford Street but we were able to park on the street as it was past restriction time. The lobby bar and the dining room are stunning! The tables for two are on banquettes along the walls - so sitting opposite one another. And there are an awful lot of them! I imagine this would make conversation, on a date, quite difficult - it’s very noisy. I spotted an empty table in the corner as we came in and requested it rather than the one in the middle of the throng on the far side of the room which was surrounded by other diners. The hostess was very obliging and we had drinks at the bar while it was prepared. The food was really good. I had the Dorset crab to start (I omitted to say no coriander/cilantro - it contains a lot but doesn’t mention it on the menu), my husband had the pork pie. We shared the Chateau Briand for our main. It was fantastic! The service was great - attentive and professional however the steak was served when my husband had popped out for a cigarette (I would have expected them to wait) and a couple of our orders were mixed up. I asked for mint tea was given camomile … We will definitely return. It was good value for money for the quality. £215 including service but without any alcohol or desserts.

Popped in for coffee at the Edition Hotel as the reviews were very good. It's just minutes from Tottenham Court Road Station and so the location is simply ideal when out for shopping and business meetings. The service was splendid, the staff were very courteous and I felt truly welcomed. I need to spend more time at the Berners Tavern so will visit again very soon!

Had breakfast here while staying at the edition. The food was great. I had the veg full English and eggs and mushrooms were delicious. My daughter had the pancakes and loved them.

The dining hall, a former ballroom, is delightful with a soaring ceiling and walls densely adorned with pictures of landscapes and landmarks. The tables are close together, but huge vertical space softens diners’ conversations at nearby tables to a pleasant murmur. Classic Chateaubriand, complimented by mashed potato with oxtail ragú was delicate, and scallops and prawn cocktail starters pleasantly light. Baked Alaska was the sole pudding featuring chocolate, arriving with its own fun little flaming presentation. A convivial and tasty place for dinners.

Beautiful ambiance. Mouth watering food (best eggs royale I tasted ever)! Also generous - with plain croissant you get three jams & butter. Lovely, attentive, staff - shout out to Hristomir! 10/10

You can easily forget that you just walked off a busy bustling street full of shoppers, the lights and grand decor (pictures, great chandelier) welcome you to a large open dining area designed to still keep you feeling private. The menu is limited, but whatever we ordered was amazing. Mushroom soup - highly recommend. Cod, and the steak were great.

DAMN - All I can say is that I ate the entire meal with a huge smile on my face! Felt like my Birthday & Christmas meal combined!! Lamb, Rib Eye with Bearnaise, Mac & Cheese plus the Mushroom Soup starter were all exceptional! The service from a few staff were a little overkill but no complaints. Daniella was awesome - Definitely planning a return trip...

This place has an incredible vibe - amazingly decorated with extravagant interior. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the portions were generous. Opted to share one of the larger steak dishes accompanied by salad between 2 (as recommended) and it tasted great and very filling. Lovely soup to start as well!

Destination bar and restaurant set in an impressive hotel lobby and one of the most remarkable dining rooms in the west end. Drinks and food do not disappoint, excellent wine list, first rate service and a real sense of occasion. Not cheap but represents value for money.

The Ham Hock starter was surprisingly flavoursome, going well with the paired chilli jam. Staff is very friendly. The sommelier was particularly good, helping us secure a lovely smokey Croatian red.
