We were very impressed with Da Paolo, the food outstanding and service very friendly. The restaurant is relatively hidden away but clearly popular. We visited on an a Sunday evening and it was just getting busy when we left (we had a table booked at 5.30 after being out all day). It was good to hear a number of the other clients speaking in Italian and it was also good to see others clearly being well known by the staff. The food itself was varied and good quality. I had Sardines to start which were lovely and would have been a main course elsewhere. For main courses most of our party had pasta but my wife had a risotto which was very nice indeed. I opted for veal, my picture doesn't do it justice, it was tender and very tasty. I definitely recommend Da Paolo and will keep it in my list of restaurants to revisit.

Amazing Italian restaurant in Soho. The pasta was delicious! I highly recommend the specialties that are not in the menu (the parpadelle pasta was delightful) We had a lovely dinner downstairs. The place was cozy and lovely. The service was really good. Make sure you book a table in advance as it gets full really quickly.

Linguine Rosse e Gamberoni was absolutely delicious. I loved how they served it with lots of garlic and the linguine was perfectly cooked. The calamari was also a delight as well. Would love to revisit the place😁

It has been a great lunch at Da Paolo, the restaurant is really cozy and the tables are close to each other but it was a great opportunity to chat with both tables that were on the right and left of myself. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff really nice and chatty. I really recommend this restaurant!

Cute spot and great service - the food however is okay and unexpectedly expensive. We had the bruschetta, the mussels, the truffle ravioli and the carbonara - none of them were bad (though mussels were particularly average), just nothing special and quite expensive for what it was.

The food portions are very big however , I found the calamari quite chewy and the batter not crispy enough and the spaghetti bolognese and escalope was bland , however the atmosphere and the service is brilliant for such a little place and the prices are reasonable

Absolutely delicious and very homely atmosphere with great service. My partner and I keep coming back to try different items on the menu - I kept going back to the creamy mushroom risotto and any pasta with seafood! The set menus deliver the same quality as a la carte. Portions are big and ingredients are super fresh! Save some space (if you can) for dessert.

Amazing food! I’m usually not into vegetarian food but this vegetarian tortellini blew my mind. Very generous portion given the price, and you can tell that everything’s made freshly by the wait and how the plate’s served piping hot. Definitely the best Italian food in the area!

Really nice little place, perfect for a little date night. Food was lovely with great taste and portion size and prices were fair. Would definitely recommend!

Edit: My bad, I confused sanpellengrinos with parmesan cheese. The receipt had the text chopped off. The tomato pasta was great. The other one with broccoli and mushrooms was just bland. Portion sizes are huuuge. There was an unsolicited price of £9 for a little sprinkle of parmesan over two pastas. What a rip-off!

Very traditional Italian made. I had carbonara without cream. I could not say words! It was a big portion. Normally, I wouldn’t be able to finish it but the food was indeed very tasty and incredibly delicious. The burrata dish for starter was also amazing. Very friendly staff and best service. You might think this restaurant is expensive for spaghetti, but give it a try and you will not regret!

The portions were generous and the atmosphere was nice, but the spacing between tables was so narrow that it was uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was great. I will definitely come back again.

Have been eating here for approximately 12 years; never had a bad meal here, it's always been delicious. Have brought many friends, family and colleagues who have all enjoyed. Most recently, we've brought our 10 month old daughter who also loved the specially-made butter pasta with cheese! Exceptional service every time from Carlos and the team, even moreso with the little one in tow.

The place has a tasteful decor, although being a bit small with two floors. We visited on a Thursday evening and it was packed. Despite this, we received fast and pleasant service. We asked to change tables due to feeling cramped, and they kindly accommodated us despite being almost full at the time. The food was exquisite. I ordered gnocchi and tiramisu and could not have made a better choice; both dishes were delicious. It's worth noting that the prices are not cheap, but you are paying for freshly made pasta with homemade, generous portions.

Amazing service and the best Italian food I've had so far.

Small and nice restaurant in central London, I ordered a portion of calamari to start solmon as main ,tiramisu as a dessert and two glasses of white wine . The manager was kind and welcoming! Because the restaurant was full I chose to sit at the table outside. The only problem I had was the food. The calamari were nice presented but blend in taste and chewy. The solmon had a really good presentations but when I start eating it taste like microwaves . You could still see the water coming out of it and the consistency of mashy fish. The tiramisu was ok in taste only that the amount of cream exceed the moisture off the biscuits. A bit unbalanced for the real deal! I must say that the manager didn’t charge me for the calamari and he changed the solmon with the Tuna steak which was really tasty and well seasoned! I appreciate the service and I am sure they can do better! Thank you !

My family traveled and ate at many Italian restaurants in Europe before Da Paolo, they paled in comparison. The food was fresh, abundant, and exquisite. The service was super friendly and top-notch. The restaurant itself is beautiful and holds a very cozy vibe. I would recommend that anyone who loves Italian food comes here. Truly special

We have been a couple of times, good food and good quantity. We tried pasta and risotto and both were fine. I think the last time the prices were a bit higher than the previous one, but it is not more expensive than other restaurants in London.

Authentic Italian dining! Best Milanese I have ever tasted, I can’t believe I grew up in Central London and never even knew about this place. Staff are wonderfully charming and decor is vintage boutique. But make sure you book! I imagine it’s ALWAYS busy x

Pasta serving was huge! Best to order just 1 pasta and just share for 2 pax if both are small eaters. Taste was not bad and pasta was al dente. Calamari was kinda ex for that serving size but definitely taste fresh. Overall, 2 pasta and 1 calamari cost us around 80 pounds. Price is definitely on the steep side. Service wise was friendly, no complaint on that. Might wanna do booking prior just in case it get crowded.

Good options in the menu, the plates are rich and big, which was a pleasant surprise! The food tasty! I tried the salmon which was delicious! We definitely had a good time there :)

Lovely traditional Italian restaurant. Good menus with a wide variety of choice, be warned the portions are delicious but huge, and despite my best efforts I've been unable to finish everything, have been several times now and never had anything I didn't like. Staff are friendly and I would definitely recommend if in the area
