Room 19, 4th floor (single room) (this review is solely based off of my own experience. Firstly, I only needed somewhere affordable to stay; as I was working near by - this was suitable and did in fact have everything I needed par a few things. A list of everything the studio apartment had: small double bed, kitchenette: hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, hairdryer, shower products, toilet roll, towels, hangers, air con fan. 1 x plate, bowl, mug, knife, fork, teaspoon, tv, tea facilities. Iā€™ve seen a lot of bad reviews for this place. However, if you are looking for somewhere affordable and your main goal is to have somewhere to sleep - Iā€™d count this place as a suitable option. Firstly the location is perfect you are right next to Hyde Park and you could walk to Marble Arch within 15 mins ofc depending how quick you are. The tube Lancaster Gate, Central Line, 1 min walk away and gets you to Oxford Circus within 4 minutes! Eco friendly washing up liquid, the fridge was a decent size and had a small freezer inside too, shower pressure was good, lots of storage inside the apartment, 9 outlets as well which is so good, had a nice view from my window and the window opens very wide which is good to air the room out. Room had a TV, I didnā€™t use it as I had my laptop but was very good having one. I booked a single room however the room had a small double bed which I was very happy with! The man on reception was helpful and nice whenever I spoke to him :) Now onto cons: the toaster is very temperamental be careful when using as it set the fire alarm off for me a few times possibly could be the fire alarm is very sensitive, but towards the end of my stay the toaster would constantly smoke when I put bread in it therefore I did not use it after this. The sink in the kitchen leaked once and the entire floor was soaking wet, I just cleaned up with towels and after this the sink didnā€™t leak again. Shower is elevated therefore there is a possibility it can leak out onto the floor I was very careful so it didnā€™t leak so much for me. The pipes were always making horrible screeching noises and the water stopped working once for about 5 mins; ofc it had to be when I was washing my facešŸ˜…. I was put on the fourth floor Iā€™m not an unfit person therefore I do not mind this however there were a lot of steps and some were very steep! Needless to say my legs are much stronger after doing this everyday x 4 for two weeks! The hob in the room didnā€™t work for me, I wasnā€™t to bothered as most of the time I just made meals that needed microwave use or cold food. Lastly the blinds in room didnā€™t have a scroll so I had to manually roll them up every morning which isnā€™t ideal with a roll blind but this wasnā€™t a big deal. Everywhere is so loud you can everyone and everything theyā€™re doing, bare in mind I am partially death and I can hear everything throughout the night. On several occasions I was woken up by other people making to much noise for example: I was woken up at midnight by a man singing happy birthday very loudly and cheering for about 10 mins and there were times when people were constantly talking all night so loudly. Bare this in mind when booking as the first week I was here I slept so badly! The receptionists tell you on arrival to be respectful and keep the noise down however Iā€™d imagine some people do not take this into account. All being said this place had everything I needed and more, I only paid Ā£540 for 13 nights which is so good and affordable especially considering the location!

Made pre booking for ground floor room as I was checking in late at night with 2 kids and 3 full sized luggage bags. Instead they gave me a room on the 4th floor(the place doesn't have a lift). Carried my sleeping kids up 4 floors along with the 3 bags and all they could offer was a simple sorry. Highly unprofessional. Only thing they got going for them is the location(SOMEWHAT). Please spare yourself the hassle and dont even bother staying here.

Location is brilliant, but the cleanliness of the basic cutlery is awful to say the least. We stayed on the 4th floor in room 18 and throughout the night you can hear pipes banging around keeping you awake the whole time. Also the room was like a sauna even in the middle of winter with only one window that wouldnā€™t stay up, it was unbearable. But for the price you canā€™t expect to be sleeping in luxury.

We stayed for four nights while visiting the attractions in London. The place is run down and really could do with updating, plus they could do with a bit more on the cleaning front as we found a sock under the sofa and a false eyelash under the bed so obviously not hoovered properly. We also had a happy birthday banner left stuck to the wall from the last guests! Over all size was good as we had a one bedroom apartment for myself, husband and two children. Kitchenette worked we one of the reasons we booked here, canā€™t really cook a meal as such unless you buy a microwave meal, but for making breakfast before you go out and a snack tea when you get back from your day out it works well. There is no lift so itā€™s a lot of stairs to walk up, we were on the 3rd floor which ended up being almost five flights of stairs which wasnā€™t to much of a problem but when arriving with luggage it was tough going, as we arenā€™t the fitness people in the world! No good if you struggle with stairs as itā€™s an older building and small treads and winding staircases. On the positive side the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, they really made up for the room being a bit disappointing when we got there. The location for us going to do the sights and attractions was perfect. Paddington station is within walking distance about 5mins around the corner, and Lancaster Gate underground station is literally at the bottom of the road. We traveled to London by train so not having a car it worked perfect for us. Overall, not to bad for the price we paid for the four of us Ā£336 for four nights for London and the location. Itā€™s not the best but you have not have expect to much for the price you are paying. The only thing I would add to for the last comment is that is should have been clean even for a cheaper price in my opinion. A cheaper price you donā€™t expect luxury or fancy but I do expect clean. But maybe thatā€™s just me. If you want a cheap stay and donā€™t want luxury with a good location then itā€™s probably worth what they charge as the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Worst part of my holiday. When we showed up the front door had been smashed by a rock. That should have been the first clue. After buzzing to be let in three times to leave our bags we were finally let in. I will say the girl who helped us was nice but that was the only good thing about this place. When we returned later on the glass had been fixed but the service had taken a sharp decline. We waited for 10 mins to get in pressing the buzzer with no answer and only got in because someone with a key card came by. Once we were inside we had to ring the reception bell and someone finally came. We then had to argue about getting our bags back as he was very unhelpful about explaining they were located in the hall. Meanwhile while all this was happening a woman came out complaining about her broken hair dryer, another couple was trying to get in and check in behind us in the tiny corridor it was all very unorganised. When we finally got our room key we were told we were on level 3 which meant we would have to carry our 2 25kg bags and 3 backpacks up the terribly tiny and windy staircase. No alternatives such as a place to leave our large bags or assistance was offered despite us also later seeing ground floor rooms being available. When we finally got to our room it looked okay but when you looked closer the toilet seat was broken and the sponge they gave us to wash glasses had already been used several times and was very unhygienic. When we went to shower the shower head also threw water everywhere which maybe explained the odd paint cracks on the ceiling. Besides the stairs however the absolute WORST part of our stay had to be the paper thin walls. The couple next door who must have decided to record their onlyfans debut clearly didn't mind though. All in all it was a terrible experience and a terrible way to end our holiday as this was our last night in London after a beautiful 2 month vacation across Europe. This was by far, the worst accommodation I stayed in and I stayed in several hostels during that time. Save your money.

Arrived. Took one look at the room and left. Misleading advertising on room size as we had booked a family room and it was fit for two. No one available to assist and person on duty not willing to come up with an improvement. Hardly spoke English and was not able to make a decision on her own. Got a refund for one of the nights but kept the first nights payment. Avoid at all costs.

During my move to London, I stayed in Flat 4 for 1 week until I moved to my Flat. The hospitality was great!! Room service is amazing, and the receptionists were very helpful. I recommend this place to everyone moving to London for a short visit or long stay since the flats are equipped with all what you could need!

Room was alright, very small and had sour smell coming from carpets. The bathroom was the only thing nice about it although very narrow as well.

2 nights stay, place was'nt all that great, the bathroom door there was a strip of wood hanging off. Only thing was good is the location wise as it was nearer to Hyde park and 10/15 minute walk to Oxford Street.

Good location and price but room was extremely run down and bathroom was mouldy and rusty. We only stayed for 2 nights and used it to sleep only but couldn't bring ourselves to use the shower/bath as they were awful. Didn't use the kitchen area so cannot comment on this. The chairs and sofa could do with a good clean and a lick of paint and deep clean of the whole apartment is definitely required.

Perfect located, within a few minutes you are in the Hyde park! Room was nice, small but we had all we needed. It was a bit loud in the night, and there war not much space for luggage and stuff. But for a couple and 3 nights it was very good!

I had booked a room at Assaha Hyde Park Apartments for work/travel, but had to cancel my trip to London "on the day" due to illness. Despite not being entitled to a refund for late cancelation, the lovely member of staff whom I spoke to over the phone explained my situation to the manager and they agreed to proceed. I was not expecting such kindness and look forward to my next stay in London, will definitely be booking here!
