Location is ok. The room i had (singel room) was ok. Had to go up several stairs but 🤷‍♀️ A bit to hot in the room but you can open the window so thats good. The area is chill so that was great. The walls are super thin so you hear everything. Just bring earplugs. But the bed was comfy, I had hot water in the shower and a refrigiator!! The tv had chromecast so that was 👌 all in all a good stay! Would gladly stay here again! Stayed 3nights 😊

The reviews really worried me about this place, but I'll tell you why I loved it and will probably rebook the next time I'm in London. 1) Location! It's a 7 minute walk from Paddington Station 2) Value! It was by far the lowest price we could find. 3) Quiet! We had the semi-basement room (but still had a large window). It was so quiet we didn't even hear birds chirping. 4) Family Friendly! We needed to store milk overnight for the baby and they had a mini fridge. They also provided a pack n play for baby to sleep in. 5) Even though our room wasn't big, we had a huge shelf to store our things. It was super convenient. 6) Staff was always super nice to us and my husband liked that it was staffed 24/7. Cons: The doorway was too narrow for our stroller (uppababy), so we had to fold it to bring it in/out of the room. The room is very very small. If you've been to NYC or Paris, think that size. You can almost touch the walls when you're still on the bed. Stairs with no elevator. Bathroom is small, but I mean it's a bathroom okay.

While Glendale Hyde Park is a small hotel, it's relatively decent. Front desk staff are very nice, comfy bed(s) and near Paddington. Not too shabby, the location is pretty good and it's accessible to get around.

Scummy business. Gave these guys over a months notice of cancellation and they still wanted to charge full amount. You think someone with brains would want at least negotiate a cancellation charge so someone else could use the room.

Literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms tiny and zero facilities - no lounge, bar or restaurant (or food - NO BREAKFAST 😡) Nowhere to go outside your room except leave the hotel. Best option.

Phenomenal location near Kensington/Hyde Park - Felt like being abroad so relaxed and scenic - Gorgeous location very clean and well kept apartment - Secure building and spacious with the comfiest beds ever!

Unfortunately the water was working let alone the hot water and I was unable to have a shower during my stay. The manager of the hotel refused to give me a refund as apparently it was their fault but was aware of a neighbour stoppage but didn’t think or feel the need to let their guest know that there was no water supply for x amount of time. Do not stay here!

The hotel was located in a quiet area, And was in a convenient walking distance to the train station. close to cafés nearby. Close by to Hyde park. The beds were comfortable the hotel room was clean and provided with clean towels the bathroom was also clean and was a decent sized sized room with tall ceilings which made the room feel more bigger. Booked at a reasonable price would definitely recommend to stay here, but if you're looking to have breakfast at the hotel would I recommend having a look around for other hotels first before booking to see whether they provide food at the hotel your booking In overall really enjoyed the stay here👍

Strange place overall, rooms very small/cramped but clean enough and done the job. Wouldn’t wanna stay here if there was more than one travelling no real room to move in the basement rooms. Good location though. I’d pay slightly more next time and stay elsewhere.

Great location, great price. The rooms are clean, but not large. I did not go to London to sit in my room. Note: there are stairs, so might be a problem for some.

What is the better hotel than what my family found however fire beware on Booking.com the pictures do not match the rooms. When I showed the front desk the pictures of the room I bought it was completely different than what we received we were there for five nights and they were willing to “ upgrade us” only after the second night. Wifi sucks when your in the basement rooms. Place was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Well appointed room including fridge, air conditioning, kettle with tea and coffee. Comfortable bed with power points and usb points next to the bed. Friendly staff. Short walk from Paddington Station and a wide range of restaurants and takeaways. Only real issue was the towel was tiny.

The hotel is cheap and close to Paddington and the staff are friendly and you can leave your bag for the day However they didn’t clean the room and at the weekend I still paid £150 a night!! No breakfast, or maybe I needed to book??

Wish to God I had read the reviews before having my money stolen by these thieves..! So many hidden charges and deposits and the rudeness of the "manager" when you simply enquire why we have to pay yet more money.. honestly the thought of going back here makes me sick to my stomach After speaking with a local cafe they said they'd also heard nothing but horror stories.. Liston - you should be ashamed of yourself

OMG!!! Read the review's so you don't choose this dump. Booked for 1 night- got a room in the basement. Just slightly bigger that the double bed. Bathroom shower drain...didn't drain. Hot, noisy and cramped and not even a great rate. So many hotels in the Paddington area-amazed this place is still in business.

Where to start!! We were put into a very tiny box room attached to the office. Paid £700 for four nights. On check-in we were told you can only have one card key between both for you. We said this wasn’t suitable as we were going out together but coming back at different times. “No” replied the younger Asian man. We said it again and once again he just replied with the word no. The room is nothing like the picture and were easily misleading. The Internet didn’t work for the first 40 hours. The shower was blocked and the bathroom cabinet had not even been cleaned as loads of open samples of foundation were wiped and left all inside. The hotel also offer a luggage Holden service that they then think it’s completely suitable an acceptable to place the suitcases directly outside our door! I tripped over these twice and told the reception it’s a fire risk and I wanted them moved. She refused. that night when I came back earlier than my friend I was told by the older Asian man on reception that he wouldn’t be allowed to swipe me in without the key card (even though we were told it’s one key cards per room) he eventually let me in when I recorded it and said I was going to be sending it to the booking website. The next morning we woke up to even more bags outside our room including loads of takeaway food that my friend accidentally trampled on (it was directly outside our door with no warning at all). The hotel was an extremely poor condition, we were given mini micro towels and shower towels for drying, The bedding wasn’t overly clean and whatever you do do not look behind the bed!!!! Absolutely horrendous hotel with rude family staff that can no longer be bothered to put in the effort to make anyone’s experience a nice day. This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in in the past four years (i’ve stayed in 45+ hotels due to work) Never again!

I would describe this as a minimum viable product. Choosing to stay at a cheap hotel in London in July requires expectations to be reset. The location was ideal, the roads around very nice. Close to Paddington, so easy access to plenty of places to eat. Rooms (1 x triple and 1 x double) were just that. Smallest possible space to get beds and a shower room, but ok. No aircon, so a challenge sleeping in the heat. Fans supplied. Biggest issue is the lack of sound proofing, which means you get to hear those above, below.and adjacent, which can be a problem given many stay for just 1 or 2 nights. Our stay was OK. If you need a good value hotel for a short stay, and can deal with the reality of cheaper hotels, then this is a good choice..

This hotel is simply inhumane. 34 degrees outside and the rooms have no AC and NOT EVEN A FAN. came back at 11pm when it cooled off outside (I left my window open) and the room is still boiling hot. Besides that, everything feels like it’s made for ants. I’m 6’2” and I barely fit in the bed and shower. How on earth did this hotel get 3 stars?

Booked a room for me my wife and our young son, were given a room in the basement in which you couldn't swing a hamster around in let alone a cat. The room smelt of bathroom sealant, and had no windows, only 1 bed and absolutely no room to make any sort of bed for our son so we had to try and all squeeze onto the double bed which wasn't ideal at all. The bedside lamps didn't work at all so the TV had to be on or you were blinded by the spotlights in the ceiling. No milk for the coffee or tea in the room, fridge didn't work either. Bathroom... Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, towel rail fell on the floor when showering, sink very blocked and wouldn't drain at all. No ventilation to the bathroom whatsoever so didn't exactly smell fresh! Wouldn't recommend.
