What
an
experience!
A
combination
of
calm,
relaxed
and
warm
service,
with
incredible
beverage
and
delicious
yet
challenging
food.
The
venue
is
a
small,
cosy
little
space
with
the
chef's
behind
the
bar
on
display.
The
decor
is
chic
and
comfortable,
and
erring
on
the
side
of
clean
and
minimal.
From
the
get
go
the
service
was
outstanding.
We
didn't
have
a
booking
but
we
went
downstairs
to
the
awesome
"Superlyan"
for
a
cocktail
and
got
sat
very
quickly.
The
maitre
de
took
our
bags
and
took
us
to
our
comfortable
booth.
The
set
menu
cost
£60
(£50
for
non-alcoholic
pairings)
and
consisted
of
10
courses.
My
wife's
pregnancy
didn't
fase
them
and
they
had
a
whole
menu
prepared
with
just
us
complex
drink
pairings.
The
Passion
of
the
team
is
evident
by
the
pride
they
take
in
their
work.
Big
shout
out
to
Jean-Ignace
who
elegantly
demystified
the
technical
aspects
of
the
dishes
and
bigged
up
the
provenance
of
the
ingredients.
I've
left
feeling
inspired
and
comfortably
full.
The
best
thing
is
the
menu
changes
regularly
so
can
go
back
again
for
another
culinary
adventure.
Thanks
Team
Cub
for
a
wonderful
evening!
