Carluccios is an Italian favourite and is perfect for casual dates with friends and family. This particular branch at St Christopher’s is a regular and I have probably been more than 20 times. Never have there failed me. I have been with my mum, partner, siblings, best friends, everyone. It’s lovely in the summer al fresco style but the tables are very popular in the summer. St Christopher’s place is one of my favorite hang out spots in central London, it’s next door to Bond Street station so accessibility is perfect. Staff are really lovely. Today we had a nice chat with the Polish waitress (so sorry, I didn’t ask for her name) and she was a joy. I absolutely adored her. She made us laugh and feel welcome and it’s always nice to get that from staff once in a while. The polenta cake for dessert is a new one and I loved it. Look at the colours of the rhubarb or is it blueberry sauce? So divine. Always nice with the seafood pasta. Never go wrong with the freshness.

The place is nice and central, a really good spot to have a break during shopping. The service was good and there is a great choice of dishes like always in Carluccio's. The only thing I have to say is that the tomato bruschetta wasn't great and being it my favourite starter I was a bit disappointed, the ciabatta bread was just too thin, not easy to cut and not crunchy as it should be. The milanese on the other hand was nice and I enjoyed being looked after during my lunch :)

My friend really enjoyed and loved her carbonara pasta. Although, I cannot say the same of my Pasta di-mare, my friend tried my pasta and loved it as well and at the end she ate both dishes. I'm not removing two star because of the food to be honest, is just for the service that could be better. Long faces among the entire personnel, some of them were rude and looking like there were mad at everyone there. They could improve that!

A staple on St Christopher's place, the chain founded by the late Carluccio delivers a double experience of restaurant and delicatessen. You can purchase lovely for products that make move gifts such as trio of oils or chutneys. The restaurant is modern and unfussy with an outdoor terrace which is used all year round.

Thought Carluccio’s is a chain of restaurants (I’m not a fan of chain restaurants 😐) it will never disappoint you. Nice and cozy place next to busy Oxford street. Good option to eat if you are shopping around. By the way, Christmas decorations at St Christopher’s please are amazing :)

Good food but really slow service, great menu and options though.

Great location with friendly staff. Good choice of specialist drinks like Peroni Gran Reserva which is ideal for summer. They allow smokers to site outside and some are rude and just blow smoke everywhere. A great place to people watch, and prices that are reasonable for this area. You can just get a beer or a coffee as they don't demand you have a meal like other places.

Good price, average food, average service. OK when you are up for basic Italian food, good gluten free options.
