It's my third time coming here and every time I've had a pleasant experience. My advice is to book in advance, cause the place is not huge and gets fully booked fairly quick, specially on weekends. Get a table on the back, nothing beats natural light... You'll get a welcome mug with popcorn, yeah, it's nice (I didn't have popcorn in a while, so, imagine how happy I was...). During my first visit I've tried the Flat Iron Steak, super tasty...It's must try... But the reason I kept coming back is the Flat Iron Herd Burger...It's juicy and delicious...No other explanation...Its my current favorite burger in London... And it comes nicely wrapped with their minimalist logo on it...love it, period! The second nice surprise: you'll get a thank you ice cream on your way out, :-)

Food was amazing! Really tasty good quality steak and flavourful sides for a really affordable price. The flat iron steak is £13 (for 250g) with sides around £3-£4. The steak came pre-sliced, cooked to perfection with a nice crust and was very flavourful and buttery. The fries are really good and crispy, the texture and flavour is similar to ‘kettle chips’ I highly recommend the mash, it’s buttery and extremely flavourful with hints of garlic and steak. The crispy bone marrow garnish pairs well for flavour and texture. The mac and cheese is unique with truffle flavouring which beats any other mac and cheese. The creamed spinach is a good vegetable side acting almost like a palate cleanser from all of the carbs. It’s seasoned very well. You’re also offered complementary soft serve ice cream which is sweet and tastes of vanilla and caramel which pairs well with the shredded chocolate. It has a smooth texture which is very enjoyable to eat (not like the usual soft serve). Even the cone is a waffle cone and has a unique taste. Service is great, fast and professional. The atmosphere is lovely, but there was a strong smell when we went, hopefully just a one time thing. Overall it’s a great steak restaurant with must try sides and is very affordable. I will definitely be going here more often.

Reservation is a must. We were lucky to have a table on the same day at 9:15pm. At the moment we arrived, Mr Savio greeted us and led us to the table and with a complimentary Popcorn. The Popcorn was not sweet, and this was the popcorn we liked. 3 stars Food was served within 10 minutes upon ordering. We ordered flat iron steak £14 medium to well. 200g. Although it looked like we'll done rather than my preference of medium well, It tasted so delicious and juicy. 5 stars We also ordered flat iron sirloin, £20 medium well of 250g. This was actually medium well. It was mouth watering delicious. Juicy. With the fat portion melt in mouth. WOW. Star of the night. 5 stars We felt so excited using the cleaver to cut the steak. Really new experience. Green salad was delicious. Great compliment to steak. The sauce was great. £3.50 was value for money. 3 stars Finally, the beer "Signature Beer Roadie" was so wonderful. Taking a sip of beer with the sirloin, what a wonderful world. 5 stars After payment, we were presented very tiny cleaver tokens to exchange for complimentary ice cream. Thanks, Mr Savio for preparing us a wonderful and addictive ice cream while letting us to keep the small cleaver token as souvenirs. Ice cream. 5 stars

I went to this steak house today as my travel book recommended. I didn’t book as there was no time slot available for bookings in the afternoon, so I walked in and waited 20 mins for the table. Each table will receive a free cup of popcorn when seated. The flat iron steak is £12, for around 10 small slices. The steak is actually nice, I think medium rare has the best texture, you will found a bit rough if it is well-done. The most surprising thing is you will get a free scoop of chocolate ice cream after you pay the bill, it was totally unexpected!

I know they are a chain but OM Gosh what a incredible place to eat. They have hit the nail on the head, simple menu, just a few choices so not to confuse use meat wise, add the sides, again not so many yer brain is muddled!! And then sit and wait for the most succulent and tasty cut of steak. They were so good I had 2 could have eadily had 3 Flat Irons. The sides were so tasty too especially the creamed spinach and the cauliflower was lush. Highly recommended these joints, great tasty simple choice food, great friendly service and you get popcorn on the go while you wait and a ice cream to go when you leave FLAT IRON PLEASE COME TO BOURNEMOUTH.... We planned a dinner with friends and Flat Iron once again did not disappoint. Good service, nice venue, delicious food and clean premises. Honestly, nothing wrong to point out. Great value for money, simple concept and never any issues - whichever branch you visit. Thank you.

Didn’t have a reservation and went in to join a virtual queue around 4:45pm on a Saturday and got a table for 2 at 5:44pm! Once we got there we were given beef dripping popcorn. We ordered the special rib eye steak and the flat iron steak. It was excellent and we were very satisfied. Mashed potatoes were unique and fries were great. We also ordered wild mushroom and peppercorn sauce but was not necessary as the steak had all the flavours. Overall great price for steak especially in London and the service was excellent. Once we were done, we were given ice cream which was really tasty. First time coming here and we highly recommend.

Good and not expensive place! Has very few dishes but serves them at their best. Nice and friendly staff and service. We ordered steaks and two passion fruit cocktails. Highly recommended.

Tasty food and polite staff! They accommodated me even though I had no reservation. I loved their fries, but I am always sad of the small quantity of steak. But, the dessert at the end is always great! They give these small cute knives that you can use anytime to receive an ice-cream!

10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone. It was worth the hour wait for a seat. We didn’t have a booking but the staff were quick to book us in an hour later. Service was excellent, there was always someone there if we needed something, very friendly and helpful. Now unto the food. The flat iron steak was delicious. Tender juicy goodness. Pair it with the mushroom sauce and it’s heaven in your mouth. The sides were just as amazing. The creamy bone marrow mash topped with crispy garlic, perfectly fried chips and the delectable macaroni and cheese. Had to order another steak after because I couldn’t get enough. Last but not certainly the least, the ice cream at the end. It was so creamy, rich… sweet but not too sweet. It was one of the best soft serves I have ever tasted, so simple yet so tasty. I cannot wait to come back!

Good, Service and Atmosphere are top! Steak is the best juicy flavorful high quality and just perfect! prices are even better ! Sides are great. Get the mac and cheese and spinach. Fast service and good beverage options. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. It’s a jewel!

Very good restaurant in terms of quality/price. The food was delicious; without a doubt, what we liked the most were the macaroni and cheese. The meat was quite decent. The price is quite reasonable considering that London is expensive. The fact that they give you an ice cream cone at the end of the meal is quite amusing.

Good steak, chips and sides. Recommend the steak, chips and macaroni and cheese. We went for the New Zealand wagyu, it didn't taste as fatty compared to Japanese wagyu. But still good nonetheless. The chairs are stools so if you have beck issues, be weary. I recommend booking ahead of time. Otherwise expect at least an hour wait, l waited about an hour from 6pm (they ask for your binder and text you when you are ready)

First your seating starts off with a cup of popcorn which is a nice touch. The steaks were cooked perfectly and creamed spinach + mac and cheese were great to have on the side. The menu is very fairly priced for London! I would recommend booking to make sure you can get a table.

My first visit but it won’t be my last. All the staff were friendly and helpful, putting me at ease. The steak was soft, flavourful and went down a treat. I had it with the mashed potatoes and a wild mushroom sauce, which I could happily drink by the mug full. I asked for the alcohol-free gin and tonic, but they were out of it, so I had a lime and almond soft drink and it was the most unusual but refreshing drink I’ve ever had. They have complimentary ice cream for customers to take away, but asked if I could have it inside and they were fine with it, even though they don’t usually do that. The only slight downside was the very loud music, which made it difficult to hear the waiters. I still had a great time’

Excellent value for money! Wonderfully cooked steak and at only £13 is a real bargain. Free ice cream at the end was fantastic. Strange querying system on arrival for bookings despite people walking straight in as well, no clear system for bookings left quite a few annoyed outside. Staff otherwise were very good inside and food arrived quickly.

Booked last minute for a meal before the theatre and the early time was the only reason we were able to get a table. Really quick and friendly service. The steaks are amazing. I had the wild mushroom sauce which was fantastic and the mashed potato is incredible. Really nice touch to give you the ice cream at the end on the way out the door. Highly recommend; great value for a central London location and great food.

It was a divine steak!!! I especially recommend the medium and try the sauces, we took all of them, but the mushroom is the pinnacle of pleasure!!! And smashed potatoes!!! I recommend to everyone!!!! Free water, popcorn and ice cream on the way out! I'm shocked!!!

Absolutely my fav steak restaurant in London. Wasn’t my first time and it’s just getting better every visit. Tried the burger this time and loved it! Staff were friendly provided us with a free ice cream on the way back! Would’ve been better if we cooked a reservation before to get a better table but overall beyond satisfied.

Took my son who loves a steak, he had the sirloin while I had the standard flat iron. We also ordered chips, mash, spinach and peppercorn sauce. We went slightly earlier than our reservation, but they had room. It’s quite a small tight venue but the atmosphere was good. We were seated given complimentary popcorn and water as soon as we sat down which I thought was a nice touch. We were promptly served. Both steaks were delicious! Really nicely cooked and seasoned (if anything I’d say the cheaper flat iron was better than the sirloin). The spinach and chips were good but OMG the mash is good, I wish I had ordered double. Definitely somewhere I’d go again. A service charge was pre added to the bill which is disappointing but as the service was really good it was okay.

Ate here back in 2018. So, so glad they are still there for us to visit again when back in the country. The steak was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was the same. The salad, fries and sauces were equally as good. Not a misstep from food to service. Highly recommend based on our visit back then.

The meals are delicious. I think it was the best cheeseburger I've ever eaten. Flat Iron steak portion is a little small, but the meat is tender and delicious. The appetizers were not very good, they recommended the tomato appetizer, but they brought sliced ​​tomatoes with plain olive oil. The place is very hot, so we couldn't sit very long. Worth to try!

Without doubt the best steak I’ve had in a very long time. In fact was also the best creamed spinach I’ve had too. The nutmeg. Wow. And I think the best homemade beef dripping chips. This menu is small but mighty. Mighty delish. You want to eat each of the products on their own as they are so full of flavour. We barely touched our sauces as the steak was TOO flavoursome!!! No salt nor pepper used either. Loved loved loved everything about our experience, and this was still with a couple of negatives / minus points. So they had no non-alcoholic GnT left. However a super friendly waiter said they would whip me up a lovely mint version. Which they did. Then they had no ice-cream for the end of our meal, we another super friendly waiter explained that he would give us a token to use as a voucher to get one in any other flat-iron. Ok so not ideal but their manner of going about it was superb. I cannot recommend this place enough. One small comment. I would mention to guests when they arrive that there are hooks around the restaurant for coats. The woman next to us kept moving hers around on the seat adjacent to my mums. Was super-annoying despite us motioning to the hooks. Will be back. See photos added

Delicious steak on and iron block . The steaks is just tender and juicy. Better make reservations before dining as well . For ice cream lovers, good news as they serve Choco gelato once your are done and it’s free !! Most important in a restaurant dining with good food is their wonderful staffs. Flat Iron is one of my favourite restaurants in London. It was my second time in this unit and it was amazing as always. Food was delicious and the service was very professional and friendly. I believe the staff who were serving us is called Hannah and she did a brilliant job. Very patient to explain the plates and super friendly with us. 5 stars! Could not be less than this.

Best of the best! Been to different flat iron and their services and serving time is just fantastic. Staff is entertaining and fun, most cheapest steak you can find with price around £12-13. Remember to go for their Creamed Spinach and Marrow Garlic Mash sides (You might thank me later) 😋

Awesome place for a special lunchtime meal with just one or two minor frustrations reducing one of the stars - namely they ran out of chips (how?!) and then also ran out of the drink my husband ordered. Just felt a little annoying considering it was 1pm on a Saturday… The steak was genuinely very good and the sides, although smaller than expected considering the price, were delicious.

definitely recommend 10 /10 No vegi mains though incase anyone was wondering Amazing food for very reasonable prices. The steak was excellent for the price. But the sides are the real wow factor. My suggestion is get one of every side. They may be small but they are amazing. Complimentary popcorn and ice-cream as well.

Got here with a friend, got seated in 15 minutes which was amazing. I think the whole place was pretty much booked up but they found a table for us. The food was very good, I found the chips less oily compared to my last visit so that was nice! The staff was super nice also, so can't wait to go back!
