Simply love that amazing river slicing through the middle of the Oracle shopping mall making it a perfect combination of yin and ylang energy! If you are lucky you may also spot Seagulls on the riverside put up a fabulous show flying around in circles as soon as them lot birdies notice an audience! Riverside Open-Bar at Oracle is a great place to chill.

I moved to reading from london recently and this is the first place I visited. You ll find Lot of interesting shops within the mall and some lovely restaurants along the Riverside. The location is amazing in the evening when the whole place is lit up and just looks stunning. Riverside takes this place to next level and makes you feel like you are in London City.

It's a big shopping in the heart of Reading. There's 80 shops on two floors for all your fashion and lifestyle needs. It's clean and bright. There are two car parks nearby.

The Oracle is a good mall to visit. This isy first time here. Parking was easy! The reception staff were very helpful and it was a delight to speak with them. Plenty of retail outlets and loads of restaurants and cafe's. Worth a visit....yes!

Nice place for quick shopping or to enjoy a coupe of tea/coffee. Always happy to come back. Here you can find lots of shops like Zara, H&M, House of Fraser, etc. The atmosphere is always nice and it's also a good place to bring kids. Often can be crowded, however, social distance is in place as long as face masks. Highly recommend it to everyone.

I like the canal with the boats passing through. Lovely feature. The centre itself is much like any other mainstream shopping centre.

There is a big range of shops however the plan of the mall doesn’t match the actual shop placing. The restaurants on the outside of the mall are varied and the ambiance is very relaxed although it can be a bit busy. We used the park and ride which stops pretty close to the entrance.

Lovely shopping centre with a wide range of stores for all tastes. We found plenty of parking, even though we only needed space for one car. The car park was well lit, clean and had easy access to the centre. Yet, the centre itself doesn't dominate and there are good amount of well known shops in the surrounding streets as well as an amazing variety of places to eat covering all cuisines from many different countries. Going this close to Christmas there was also a bratwursts stall, beer stands and other places to sit for a drink near the river. All round great shopping and eating out experience

So many shops, not cheap parking but it’s incredibly convenient. There’s loads of choice, just everything you could possibly need for every budget. The centre is easy to navigate and kept very clean. Also loads of places to eat!

Nice shopping mall, you can find most of the store you need. obviously you cannot find luxury brand, you can find them in different shop like “house of frasers” and other stores. You have range of different types of food, and if you want you always take away and seat in some of lounge area where you can recharge battery of phone. There is a big area dedicated to toilet and it is always clean and tidy.

Nice enough shopping mall, simple layout, good variety of shops, missing a dedicated food court. Generally, a buzzing place to be in Reading

Lively atmosphere. Good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Has a cinema too and car parking facilities. Great for a day out once in a while. The canal gives it a tranquil setting.

Great location. Such a shame that House of Fraser is closed down and there are so many empty stores at the Oracle both outside & inside. Hope it comes back to the glory days when Jamie Oliver’s restaurant was just outside and the shops were all full. So many options of great places to eat! The mall also has a nice variety of shops, and the street just outside the mall has several more within easy walking distance. Definitely my prefered shopping location anytime!

The landmark of Reading and one of the most visited places of us. It is unavoidable the open area besides River Thames were affected by storm Henk, hope it will be recovered soon. Although we didn’t buy a lots at House of Fraser in the past, it was a good place to shop and we missed it. McDonald, Primark, Whittard and a good movie at Vue made our day. Wish a joyful year to everyone.

The riverfront part of this shopping centre is actually one of the best atmospheres in Reading now, if not the best! Due partly to covid forcing more outdoor seating, this riverfront area feels like you are abroad in a place like france or germany sometimes, especially on sunny days. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars which look out onto the water. The beach bar is very fun and has a holiday feel to it.

Beautiful place. Clean and spacious, the atmosphere is welcoming. Would definitely come back. I found all staff to be helpful. Great place for kids too because there's an array of good shops and of course places to eat. Bathroom areas very clean too, always important but moreso when you have little kids! Thanks all for a good day out

Excellent shopping centre with variety of stores. The mall is on the river Kennet. The mall along with the surrounding area is good to shop, eat and enjoy. The mall is mostly crowded over the weekend.

Your average shopping mall. Good shops, nice and clean. The only issue I’m finding is lack of accessibility. Some of the accessible entrances from the car park have been out of order for months (staff at the time were unable to direct me to another lift) and some of the shops are on more than one floor but no lifts to access them.

Lovely shopping centre, super easy parking. Immaculately clean toilets and a lovely family room for breastfeeding - other cities take note, if you want to save the high street, this Is how to do it.

Great shopping for those that enjoy variety and loads of wonderful places to eat, drink or grab a snack too. Clean and tidy. Parking was reasonably cheap. Fun and modern bars with cool games to play if you out with friends or staff. Had a wonderful evening.

There's a lovely buzz in the centre of Reading. This is a very family friendly space especially in the Summer. The car park is a little pricey and it would definitely help trade at the cinema and the eateries if they offered a rebate on parking. This urban riviera is definitely a good thing for Reading.

Fire safety issue, Queues to get down one set of stairs at the Riverside entrance/exit because BOTH escalators are broken. This is got to be a breach of safety regulations !! I would not want to be inside this building if there is a fire.

It's one of my favourite shopping mall. I hope The House of Fraser won't closed down. I would prefer to see few more clothing stores inside the Oracle that are not available in the main Street in town centre. We need more inspiration and less repitation.

This is a nice mall, with a good variety of shops available. I have notices it is a bit cold in the mall but that might be related to energy saving restrictions. Other than that, wel maintained building where you can find all the major brands.

A trip into the Reading Oracle after months of lockdown. Where to begin. Skip to JD Sports, had an armful of gear about £200. Thought hold on, you came to get trainers. Put it all back. Boo. Popped over To footlocker and managed to get the Nike tuned Air Max white white white. So hard to get. Got those, trip back through what was Debenhams (RIP 😞) checked out Next Furniture store (ooh, it’s good). Sherlock arm chair you are on my radar. Up to the car park and off. Love the Oracle. Love shopping.

Bright, roomy, clean and not too crowded... Shame to see some empty shops. However, the shops that are there are good. Great choice of places to eat throughout

Good variety of shop within a relatively small shopping centre, however combined with surrounding roads with hundreds of other retailers and food establishments, well worth the visit.

Great shopping centre right on the Riverside. Along the river are many options to eat and places to sit and enjoy the scenery. The shopping centre itself has many shops. I definitely recommend

Its lovely to see the UK mask free and out and about. Its been years since I've visited the Oracle but it's not changed much.

Shopping Mall in the centre of Reading. Survived COVID and the online shopping trends better than most centres, so only a few empty plots. Lots of variety and food outlets, some alongside the canal. Big multi-story car park adjacent to the shopping area.

I love the whole as it is pretty clean, spacious and the whole place and its surroundings has a very good ambiance mainly due to the river running through the middle , good selections of brand retailers, restaurants, cafes and other amenities. Very highly recommended.

Filled mostly with clothing shops like Next or H&M. Frequented shopping centre with restaurants and cafes around it and a picturesque walk along a riverside. Contains a comfy family room where you can change or feed your baby in peace (bottle warmer available on the spot), while older children keep themselves occupied with games available for free on a big touch screen. While it's a good place to shop for clothes or gifts, kids may get a bit bored.

A bit busy queue but service was quick and very attentive staff, plenty of seats/tables. Foods are awesome! Plenty of choices of sushi, sashimi was so tasty and fresh and we finished it with a refreshing green tea ice cream. My husband and I over their hot sake too

Very clean and well organised shopping centre, a few empty due to covid killing sales but a vast majority of your chain shops available. Amazing Japanese food at Osaka on the entrance to the Oracle and plenty of eateries outside to choose from.

Beautiful and scenic indoor shopping centre with river Kennet flowing outside that also has outdoor restaurants and food stalls either side...large variety of shops split over 3 floors. House of Frazer is one of the largest stores.

Huge shopping centre with massive car park space. This shopping centre is right next to Riverside & fun to explore this place in nice weather. Good to take children too. Parking could have been little cheaper considering it is outside London.

Big mall at south west side, where you will find all local to brand items. I was in search of particular lipstick shade from quite long and happy to tell I found it here. Mean to say all brands stock available here. Found quite happening place as well. Good place to hang out with the friends and family.
