I watched Dom Taylor in Five Star Kitchen on C4 and was chuffed to bits when he won 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. In my view it would be rude not to experience The Good Front Room in the Palm Court at The Langham. The menu caters for everyone, and the waiting staff make sure of your dietary preferences or allergies are a priority. I am a pescatarian and all I can say is the Sea Bass was emotional. The culinary detail of each of the dishes is outstanding and the flavours were literally Oh My Gosh for each mouthful. And those Plantain and Sweet Potato Chips….. knocked it out of the ball park. I have a love hate relationship with Okra and I have never eaten raw okra 😮 however that slaw is delicious 😋 . The Good Front Room is a wonderful premier dining experience with a menu that makes you need to return to ensure you have tried ALL the dishes. The music playing in the background was excellent. I cannot fault any of the service from reception until we left. The door staff were pleasant and friendly, offered to take our photograph.

This was my first ever English breakfast tea experience. The atmosphere was great. As to food, I enjoyed, the tea, the finger sandwiches, as well as the pastries but not the rest, namely the scones and that bulky jam cake that was too sweet.

Superb afternoon tea with exquisite service. The sandwiches were all very good as were the scones and desserts. We were served two sets of scones and I found one of them a bit too crumbly - delicious nevertheless. Service was impeccable. Very good service staff and they really make you feel valued and cared for. Great tea options (and you can also substitute for coffee - such a treacherous move). Lovely experience, would recommend it to anybody.

Truly magical experience, great food and great service. Worth mentioning that all the food was halal and suitable for a Muslim diet. My wife and I enjoyed afternoon tea after a busy and rushed morning around London. Although we didn’t have long due to a return train journey, we found the service and the endless supply of sandwiches and pastries were positively overwhelming. The sandwiches were amazing and the scones were 100% the best we have ever had. The pastries and scones were light but very indulgent therefore you couldn’t eat more than the portion provided although there was no limit to how many you could request. The teas and coffees were also endless however I felt you have to be a true connoisseur to appreciate them, they were not strong enough for me. It is not the best value afternoon tea due to the £70 ++ cost per head. We also had to pay extra for soft drinks as my wife doesn’t drink tea or coffee, even though we were told she could have an alternative. However, The Langham definitely have the best quality in terms of food and know how in service, our afternoon tea expectation have reached a new high! It’s a must try for all foodies!

Got to be a 5/5. We came here for a special occasion, as soon as you walk into the hotel you are greeted by the most amazing smell and fresh flowers. The porters are incredibly friendly and direct you to the afternoon tea room. We were given two options of tables and the service was lovely. Table cloth, table ware, the atmosphere were beautiful. You get your own dedicated waiter all the way through your afternoon tea who explains each course. The food was obviously delicious, and we were asked if we wanted another round of sandwiches which was a nice touch. Overall, we were really full by the end of the afternoon tea and had to take one of the deserts home with us. We really enjoyed our visit and had a lovely time. Couple of minor suggestions that I would able to the management: - The takeaway box is really small and our desert unfortunately was very squashed when we got home, that was quite disappointing. A bigger box would fix this issue. - For the price tag I think a refill of tea should be offered.

The Langham hotel is the first grand hotel to ever serve the afternoon tea. Chef Andrew Gravett’s own take on the classic British biscuits (Crawford’s Pink Wafer, Crawford’s Custard Cream, Cadbury’s Mini Roll, Mr Kipling’s French Fancy and Cadbury’s Tiffin) is not only a great improvement to the originals but also yummy to eat. The bread from the finger sandwiches is soft and moist and the fillings are nice and delicious too.

We had a great experience at Afternoon Tea. The tea is very tasty and I would categorize the food as above average. It’s a nice setting. The day we were there it was rather warm. It’s uncomfortable to drink so much hot tea when you’re hot and mildly sweaty. The scones and clotted cream are unbelievable! We would likely choose tea elsewhere, but we had a nice experience that was well worth it.

Stunning venue to have afternoon tea in! The piano playing in the background was really nice while we enjoyed the luxurious afternoon tea. Service was top class nothing more than I expect either for the price but the afternoon tea itself was stunning. Each sandwich was a taste sensation and as for the little cakes well out of this world and the tea selection the best we’ve had for afternoon tea.

The Langham Palm Court decor is meticulous and grand, but not overbearing. An abundance of staff at the entrance ensures your questions are answered and your needs are met. We had an A La Carte Lunch planned at the private dining room "The Postillion" for 15 and unfortunately had to make changes at the last minute, but the team quickly changed the seating and table arrangement to accommodate for changes and from then it was perfect. For 10 people we constantly had 2-3 people serving us. Polite, professional and very stealthy - we were never interrupted. The team was flawless. Our drinks and food were served on the pre-agreed schedule, and every dish was perfectly cooked to everyone's satisfaction. We asked for a pause before deserts, and they could judge when everyone made it back to the table to continue with the deserts. Overall, it was quite expensive for a company lunch, but it was certainly worth the experience. The price does reflect the level of service you will get, and you won't be disappointed.

Loved the afternoon tea here! There were live music playing in the background while you drink your tea. The food was great even though the serving sizes of each plate was small but we were both really full by the end. There were many kinds of tea to choose from I got to try a few they all tasted really great!

Thank goodness for Gee Ok, here we go..nice tea room with a piano player. Once seated and ordered we had to wait approx 12mins or so before drawing the attention of a manager that we have been waiting for soo long. We then were given another waiter (Gee), and we were attended by him with the professional service you would expect from such a high glass tea room. Ok, now the food and teas. The sandwiches were very tasty, as well as the scones. The dessert cakes though beautifully presented, in our opinion didn't quite taste up to scratch. The teas though exotic were a bit bland (this compared with Fortnum & Mason) If it wasn't for the friendly, professional, courteous, attentive manner in which our waiter, Gee, conducted himself, the Palm Court at the Langham would have received a 3 ⭐. As said.. Thank goodness for Gee ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, we thank you.

Immaculate experience here at the Palm court for afternoon tea. The flavours throughout the menu were exquisite. Fresh, delightful, innovative, complimented with phenomenal service. Highly recommended and one of the best afternoon teas we’ve been to.

Went for the afternoon tea with my mum as a special gift for her and this place was so nice. The service is impeccable and the food selection is fantastic. The handmade chocolate selection is to die for and accompanied with a nice tea selection and a glass of British bubbles to top it off. If you want to do an Afternoon tea in London I would Definately choose this place.

My wife's favorite high tea spot in London. Food/dessert were delicious. Great wine list for a high tea spot. Put a note when booking the reservation that it was my wife's birthday and without any further mention, they brought a dessert at the end of the tea service with a birthday candle. Staff amazing. Truly first class. Have been many times, will continue going.

Classy afternoon tea experience with unlimited sandwich and tea refills! Service was phenomenal from the time we first entered the hotel. We were warmly greeted, our coats were taken from us, and we were escorted to our table where they had set up stands for our purses so they wouldn't touch the floor. My friend and I both ordered the red dragon tea, which is delicious and I highly recommend! They started us off with the 4 sandwiches, of which my favorite was the beef sandwich. My friend doesn't eat beef or shellfish and was able to request doubles of the cucumber and avocado sandwiches and refills of this as well. We were able to get several sandwich refills before moving on to the scones and desserts. The cheese scones were not my favorite, but I did enjoy the scones that were served at the tea's conclusion. My favorites were the mission fig compote, coffee and orange delice, and cheesecake to share, which we could barely eat since we were so full. For our second round of teas, I got the organic jade sword and my friend got the peppermint tea. Would not recommend the peppermint since the tea had a lot of tiny tea leaves in it that were too small for the strainer to catch. Overall wonderful experience and highly recommend!

Beautiful place. Soft music from a piano player. Tasty sandwiches (some of them), the most lovely delicate scones w clotted cream. Also their champagne was great. This was their first days with a new Jubile Afternoon tea menu, and I felt a bit disappointed. The menu is supposed to remind the royal family of their favourites. Pancake cakes, really. It's not what I want for my afternoon tea. But the huge Sovereign biscuit was fantastic. Very polite and attentive staff but I can't help wondering how it comes that I, as a foreign tourist, speaks better English than they do?

Prior to our UK holiday, I heard great things about the esteemed Palm Court’s afternoon tea. Sadly, the tea service did not live up to its hype. The service was good, the ambience is nice (apart from the artificial scent they pump through the room that gave me a headache), and the food/tea was just okay. I enjoyed the cucumber sandwich, scones and fig jam. Although the presentation was superb, the other items were forgettable.

A very beautiful experience! A must try for someone looking for the most British tradition to try. Really good atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and we connected very well with them. Excellent food and service.

Fabulous setting, gorgeous food by chef Dom Taylor. £75 for three courses was well worth it. Cocktails were divine especially his rum 🍹 punch if a bit pricey around £19.00. I would go back for the Caribbean inspired excellent food.

This was a great British tea thing. The variety of teas was delicious and I had a bunch. The sandwiches were really great too. They even gave us a second serving of sandwiches because we were really hungry. The piano guy did a great job too. The best thing was the service; so polite and accommodating. I wasn't able to dress up nicely but I got in fine. The restroom is really good too if you need it. To the side from the entrance to the tea room and downstairs.
