Unquestionably the best fillet steak I’ve ever had so far in London. USDA ANGUS BEEF 150-DAY CORN-FINISHED - FILLET (250G) with Stilton sauce. Prawn Tempura and Mac & Cheese are also very nice. Outstanding Service as well. Overall nothing off with this restaurant. Well done

You want steak? Better be ready for ALL the options. Specials board longer than your leg, incredible selections and variations available. Wine list was also extensive and adaptable to the steak you chose. Starters were a nice platform to jump off for the steak. Steak cooked pretty much perfectly to your liking, don't mind blood but was spot on medium rare for the rib eye 👌 Atmosphere is pure London vibes and presentable steaks to show off the quality. Aperitifs and desserts round off the evening (with a celebration in mind). Very enjoyable evening. 🙌

Absolutely loved it. Had never heard of Goodmans before until Alan Brazil mentioned it on Talksport. You pay for what you get so not cheap but bloody lovely. Recommended.

High +++ quality of steaks. I could choose the cuts I want before they grill the steak. Truffle Mac&cheese was something special and prawns are the must. Avocado goes crazily good with it. Amazing wine selections with various Napa wines including cult wine choices, these won't let you down.

Arguably the best meal I've ever had and definitely definitely the best service. Everyone was unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable. They wanted to make sure we were 100% satisfied with our steak choices and I have to say I was! The sides are massive btw, you can definitely share (we ordered too many and were absolutely stuffed). Cocktails were great too! 10/10

Had an absolutely wonderful experience in Goodman Mayfair this Friday with my boyfriend for our anniversary ! The food and the service were fantastic, we enjoyed every dish. Also, they recommended us a very great wine to pair with our food. We recommend!

The food was great but I felt compelled to write this review because of the staff. They made us feel relaxed and welcome and made our evening very special. They were knowledgeable about the food and went the extra mile when I told them it was my partner's birthday by bringing out a surprise cake. Overall a lovely evening made better by the staff here, would recommend.

Went for birthday - staffs are very friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. sides were generous sizes. We ordered medium well steak and it was red and not cooked medium well. My husband got could do with more flavours. Generally I expected something wow but I can tell, I had better steaks in other restaurants

Attentive service from the staff throughout and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the meats on offer. Food was absolutely delicious. Quite pricey but it's what you'd expect for a steak restaurant in this location. Really enjoyed our visit and would consider going back for a special occasion.

Loved this place. The selection of meat here is second to none. Food presentation and quality is really excellent. The service however was really top quality. Our host on the night was a Romanian chap who really went through the menu and meat board thoroughly and made our experience unforgettable with alot of attention to detail. Will definitely be back next time in London.

This place was a pleasant surprise as we didn’t expect it to be this good. We had fillets and Australian sirloin and the cuts were cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and cosy for a nice dinner. Love this place :)

Good atmosphere, nice staff and overall an easy midweek place to hang out and have burger or steak with some booz. You would probably see that most of the customers are guys ( probably 7 to 3 ). This time fancied burger instead of steak so we went for their wagu burger which was nice ( I give it 7/10 , as the bread was a bit over toasted and the patty wasnt rested enough) Starter of Prawn tempura and scallops were fabulous as always , even though the scallops and the mash under were cold ), but it’s acceptable! Cant fault them for that ( gets my 8/10 ) Our waiter was amazing, I think he was spanish ( please accept my apology if I was wrong and you are reading this ), we popped in without booking and they hosted us, overall amazing staff all around ! Well done to them. Will I go again: Yes Food : 8/10 Service : 10/10 Price : 9/10 ( for mayfair is acceptable ) Overall cost : £108 without any drinks for two ( burger mains plus two starters ) , if you are going for steak , based on previous experiences, I would say 150-£200 for two

Speechless. Best steak in London. Wonderful staff, really enjoyed our lunch. It beats any steak in London. Service was superior I will comeback again this week for sure

They just know how to cook good steaks. I had a medium cooked sirloin along with truffle chips, spinach and broccoli and it was all yummy. It was finished off with a delicious apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. A bit on the expensive side but it's good.

Had a delightful experience at Goodman's in Mayfair! The staff warmly presented a variety of well-prepared cuts, explaining each with enthusiasm. The menu offered ample choices, and the food was fresh and expertly cooked. The service was accompanied by genuine smiles. The only minor drawback was the decor, which might benefit from a refresh, though it didn't compromise the overall cleanliness, it just didn't align with the polished service from the staff.

Arguably the best steakhouse in London - and we've done the research! Been coming here for over 20 years and the steaks have always been excellent. Also a good choice of regular and special cuts to choose from. A bit on the pricy side but standard for central London. Well worth a visit if you love your steaks!!

To me, this is the Benchmark when you’re looking for a good steak in London, there’s no place like Goodman in Maddock Street. I have to say the ambience the food & service never fails to impress a super place to bring a friend client or a lover.

Super impressed with Goodman. It’s not going to be a cheap night, but it’s going to be worth every penny. We had a steak each, a cocktail, bottle of wine and shared three sides and the bill came to about £110 each. But my Lord it was outstanding, and great service too. Not an every day occurrence but a nice treat

This really was 'good man' 🥩 From the moment we sat down, to the moment we left, we were served with outstanding customer service, steak knowledge & delicious food! To begin with, we had an espresso Martini, which was the best I've ever had. Strong & flavourful. Starters** We had the oysters. This was the only thing I didn't really like. We like oysters fresh and flavourful. But these had a lime dressing, which I felt overpowered the oyster. They were also quite small. (We are huge oysters fans) We also had the scallops, which were cooked perfectly and went down nicely with the silky smooth squash purree & pine nut butter sauce. Mains** There were numerous steaks to choose from, which made it difficult to choose, so we decided to go for 2 different and share. Which was a great idea. They came sliced, ready to eat and cooked perfectly (medium rare). Sides** We had truffle chips, which were huge and fluffy with a generous helping of Truffle. Side Salad, which had lovely big shavings of parmeasan & mushrooms (the sides are huge and well worth getting a couple to share) As we were there for my 30th birthday, they also bought out a delicious cheesecake to say happy birthday 🍰 Well worth a visit!

Another Goodman location that did not disappoint. I have been a frequent visitor at their Canary Wharf steakhouse and had a 10 out of 10 dining experience every time. Here at Maddox Street, you will find Goodman’s trademark dark wood and leather interior, cosy and comfortable seating, plus all their delicious menu staples - scallops, truffle cheese, mac and cheese, and of course, their huge choice of quality beef cuts. Our server was very knowledgeable and could speak for hours about the meat choices, qualities etc. Impressive. You can’t go wrong with a tasty, juicy, marbled, and perfectly grilled ribeye steak. Add a bottle of quality red and great company; you have something to remember for years. 10 out of 10!!!

I’ve been to Goodman City and here, Mayfair, on my events like graduation and birthdays. This was my first time having it as a takeaway since my mum is ill and cant really get out of her bed. She wanted a good steak for her birthday and first restaurant that popped up in my head was here. First, every steaks, sides and sauces were really amazing. My mum normally only has two or three spoons and stop but she emptied the whole plate this time. The hospitality here has been always good with the knowledge of steaks from servers so always makes me feel taken care of. Today, I got emotional when the lady with glasses who took my order and listened to my story (I’m sorry I forgot to ask her name..) went extra mile to make my day. I will definitely visit again on my next celebration day and hope to see her again, Thank you so much

It is the second time I come here, first experience was with my family straight from Spain, where the meat is unique and they had an unforgettable experience. Today at my second experience I would like to thank Marta for her amazing care and dedication about the meat explanation. If you love meats, come here and you can also argue about them and find out something that will surprise you as me today. In house out of menu cuts are just amazing, wine selection has been incredible and Marcos, I think he is one of the somms have done a surprising work to paire my food with it. Its my third time at goodmans, I would choose this one beforehand Canary Wharf, but both of them are just amazing! All the best and hope this stays for longer! Recommended to anyone looking for good meats wine and experience with their sharers and couples

Amazing restaurant, steak was roasted to perfection! It was so tasty but also tender. Service was great, they explained all the cuts and meat origin and flavour and we also got recommendations for wine that goes well with our chosen steak from the sommelier. The selection of wines is quite extensive.

Had dinner here Saturday night for my wife's 40th birthday before we went to a show. I can safely say in all the restaurants I've ever eaten the service was by far the best. Phillipe waited on us and his knowledge and engagement was absolutely first class. He went above and beyond. Without doubt we will be back. My only regret was we didn't have more time as we were rushing to see a show. The food also was top class but the service really topped it off. Thanks for making the night so special.

Good selection of steak don’t get the Australian . Sides were ok nothing too special Staff were nice especially the receptionist but not the waiters Pricy and next time I might try the burger ( Mac and cheese sauce made with pork )

The service is amazing, one of the best that o got here in London. They are super thoughtful and make the meat the way that you want to. The meat (forgot to take photo) was disappointing. I shared a 100 pounds meat that I thought would be the best of my life (because of the price) and it was far from that. Could have more flavour. The starters and sides, nothing special. I’m not saying is not good but definitely don’t justify the price
