A small but very exquisite restaurant, conveniently located near Portobello Market. Fantastic service. Had such an amazing experience. We were fortunate to have the whole restaurant to ourselves for a superb lunch. Every dish was so perfect. I would be definitely be coming back.

A hidden gem in London, a truly underrated and low-profile restaurant that exceeded my expectations. The restaurant itself had a small and cozy ambiance, perfect for an intimate dining experience. The freshly made bread and Madeleines were a testament to their attention to detail. The highlight of my visit was the strawberry souffle, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. And let's not forget the great beef fillet, cooked to perfection. Not only were the dishes incredibly delicious, but the presentation were also top-notch. Although the prices were on the higher side, the value I received was unparalleled compared to any other restaurant I've tried in London. Highly recommended!

An incredible restaurant by an incredible chef. Our only regret in getting the three course menu was not getting the five course tasting menu. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I have been around the London Michelin scene, and have tried plenty of hyped restaurants, but this tiny cozy 6-seater blew our minds. The produce is of the highest quality you’ll find in London and the dishes are simply excellent and inventive. The lamb, turbot and chocolate moulleux were stunning. Caters to vegetarians too if requested in advance - the vegan main I had was absolutely delicious. Most impressively the headcount of the restaurant is just two people, yet everything from the bread to the dessert is homemade and produce is individually sourced. Having worked at the very best, both Matt and Richard are extremely knowledgeable and you can sense the passion with which they created this gem of a restaurant. A breath of fresh air in London’s oversaturated and often disappointing culinary scene. We will be coming back!

The food overall is good, but the bread is burnt which is a bit disappointed… and I saw the table next to me also bite out the burnt part… and the soufflé is not fluffy enough, it’s texture is similar to a cake rather than a soufflé… the green peas of the fish course is a bit undercook, u can still taste the “grass flavour “ of the peas. But the wagyu is very good especially the sauce. The scallops dish needs more crunchiness elements to it. The lamb dish is the prefect dish, well balanced sweetness and acidity of the sauce , prefect medium, nice crust, just 10/10 and the onions is just a prefect match to the lamb The waitress is so polite , but it’s a small restaurant, u can’t ask for much attention for the service but I like that. Because I don’t like waitress staring at me when I’m eating haha The atmosphere is kind of like causal but quiet, perfect for couples Not as prefect as my friend said, but I will definitely try one more time to see will they make it prefect next time. @104restaurant Second visit 🤣🙈 XL hand dived Orkney scallop ceviche, passion fruit, lime and Cerignola olive -umami flavour if the scallop is fresh and elegant, not overpowered. Prefect match of the fruity sauce. The Olive brings the savoury. Lamb Rossini with foie gras and summer black truffle, lamb jus -the lamb is so far so good, maybe the first visit is a bit better, the fat can be rendered a little bit more. The jus is always the best element of the dish, well balanced of sweetness, savoury and acidity Classics Napoleon with strawberry sorbet -the cream of the Napoleon With hits of vanilla, not too heavy. But the acidity of the strawberry sorbet can lv up a bit to pair with this Napoleon. Food🌟🌟🌟🌟 Price🌟🌟🌟(maybe the presentation can be improved with that price range?) An exceptional culinary experience we had the privilege to assist as the tube and trains where on strike and we where the only 3 patrons. The 104 is not about being fancy it is about cuisine. The quality of the products, the talent of chef Richard and the kindness of the service (let alone the superb wine list) makes me want to come back very very soon.

Went for dinner here with my friends and we had such an awesome time! I don’t always take photos of my food but felt compelled to because it looked and tasted soo good! This is affordable fine dining in a lovely setting with amazing service. Matt was awesome - friendly, engaging, and just generally awesome. I’d read other reviews about how lovely he is and he definitely lived up to the hype of customer service. The food was .... smacks lips, drools and then licks that too. Very well done. Menu changes daily as well so keeps things interesting. I loved the amuse Bouche and the fresh bread. I ordered the turbot and had food envy when I saw my friends beef, but my turbot was incredibly tasty and the best dish in my view. The chocolate fondant dessert was incredibly rich and not too sweet which was a nice change in my view. Madelines at the end was a nice touch but I was super stuffed at that point. It is a tiny restaurant - 12 seats so has a very lovely intimate feel to it. Amazing! CANNOT RECOMMMEND ENOUGH. Wish I could shout about it but I almost don’t want too many people going there so it remains my awesome little secret place😉.

One of the most pleasant surprises I've had in London. A small, intimate and classy restaurant run, on our visit, impeccably by an attentive waiter and precise chef. The food was first class, and the tasting menu very cleverly devised so that each course was more flavoursome than the last, building-up to the unforgettable wagyu beef dish. All flavours were delicate yet perfectly balanced, the bread was freshly cooked and perfectly crispy whilst the souffle's fluffyness compared to the standard of the best I've ever had (Waterside Inn). And to believe that the entire show is run by two people is what impressed me NEARLY as much as the food itself. Can't wait to return.

Sometimes you just come across unexpected delights. This charming place hits all the right buttons even the buttons you didn’t know existed. The team makes everyone feel welcome and they are cordial, courteous and knowledgeable. The evident passion for food and hospitality just exudes from this restaurant. This is definitely my new favorite place to go. They chef prepared everything with expertise and great respect for pure flavors. As a person not fond of fish, his dishes made me curious enough to explore a new palette of flavors. And I can honestly say I will gladly order amazing fish dishes from Richard in the distant future. Thank you again so much for a wonderful evening filled with exciting flavors and new experiences.

Fantastic meal here in the tiny restaurant space. Interesting way to manage a business with just one chef and one waiter for 12 seats, and it works. We tried most items on the short menu between the four of us at dinner, and everyone liked everything, which is rare no matter how good the restaurant. Will definitely be going back.

Hidden gem. We wanted to try it for a while now, the food is excellent and the ambiance very good given the limited space. If you want a nice dining experience, just go.

Most refreshing Gazpacho with a rich, complex flavour! Friendly and generous with little bonuses. Heartily recommended.

This is one of the most intimate fine dining experiences we've had. With only 12 covers the atmosphere feels more like a dinner party at home rather than a restaurant. The excellent food and great service made for a very enjoyable evening.

Amazing spot. We live in London and randomly decided to come here. Excellent food and service. Would be perfect for a group of friends for what feels like a private dinner.

This is truly a gem of a place. An extraordinary meal. Food was delicious, with innovative touches but without overdoing it, letting the ingredients shine. The wine list was a very pleasant surprise, with many choices outside of the traditional/expected, well guided by the staff. Highly recommended, will definitely return.
