What a wonderful experience! Tea at Fortnum and Mason was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food was excellent and plentiful and the service was skilled, friendly, enthusiastic and kind. My wife and I felt welcomed and that we were part of something special as if there staff had been waiting for us for years and finally we had arrived! The jubilee tea room is large and beautiful, don't forget to stop in the restrooms just to see how beautiful they are. Downstairs you'll find floor after floor of luxury and interesting things to buy. Take your time enjoying the tea and food upstairs and don't rush! And take your little pots of jam and curd with you when you leave!

A tea drinkers paradise. This is as good as it gets regarding tea, chocolates, jams, cheeses, delis, and so much more. All kinds of accessories for teas and so much more. There is a very nice restaurant where you can enjoy a nice meal. It is important not to forget the dedicated staff. They are very helpful and seem to know what you need before you ask. There is a rich history attached to this store, and it is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful store and worth the trip from the US. The Queen’s Jubilee Tea was lovely. My server, Mari Anne, was delightful. I love the tea she recommended, Countess Gray. As for the store itself, I could spend all day there. It was amazing!! Gorgeous! Their chocolates and cookies etc are divine. And FYI they have a small serving counter and store at Heathrow T5 as well.

Probably the most spectacular tea shop in the world. It's a jewel box full of fantastic and high quality items. There are many floors with a food hall in the basement, the upper floors have high class tea rooms and perfumes and overall the attention to detail is remarkable. This is a true experience and the staff is outstanding in friendliness and service. A true legendary location.

All the varieties of tea, biscuits, and chocolates you could imagine. We had a great time exploring this store and looking at all the options. It’s a great option for tourists looking for gifts for friends and family back home. There really is something for everyone. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products. We talked to different employees who helped us pick the right teas and coffee and made us feel confident with our picks. The incredible variety of teas and biscuits makes me want to come shop for more when we run out of our supplies.

Worth doing once. The tea and sandwiches are wonderful. The space is beautiful. The only reason why it’s four stars and not 5 is because it does feel a bit formulaic and machine like. I would recommend coming here for a scene and to experience afternoon tea and then seek out a more local approach to a splendid pastime.

Fortnum & Mason is kind of an institution in London, famous for their tea, the cookies and for serving excellent traditional afternoon tea. I have been recommended to not only visit the shop, but also to enjoy the High Tea there. It was definitely an interesting experience: So many different teas, snacks and treats. But I have to say that some of them were literally interesting - in that sense that especially the savoury part was too much, while the High Tea option was really nice. Maybe it’s me, but I’d rather go with sweets with the tea. So if you’re there, make sure you have some time to visit the shop and buy some of those excellent cookies.

We always drop by when in London to buy jams and teas, and this time was no exception. They have a wide range of jams, especially those with alcohol. Tea can also be bought in tea bags or loose leaf versions, and they even have a counter that can help you find the perfect blend. In the basement, they have fresh food such as cakes, chocolates and pickled fruits. On the 1st floor, there are beautiful items that are meant for the home, as well as Christmas and seasonal decorations. I especially like viewing the various tea caddies on the ground floor.

What can we say that has not been said previously? The three of us had an exquisite afternoon tea on Sunday, a huge choice of teas and cocktails. Refills if required of food and tea. The sandwiches and pastries were delectable. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing, service extremely polite and attentive as one would expect. All in all, a very relaxing and extremely filling experience. Unfortunately, the store was closing when we left so did not have time to browse the various levels but next time we will.

Love to shop at F&M! Shopping experience is 10/10 from the customer service to the quality of the products. I admit that the F&M blue is one of the reasons why I love to shop there. It just gives me so much comfort and happiness for some reason. I wonder if they used the colour psychology back then. Love their shopping baskets with F&M blue and a hint of gold. So clean and sleek! The cafe on the first floor is one of my favourite place to chill out and take a break from shopping. The ice cream is so good, too! Their toilets are not as spacious as the modern ones and I feel a bit claustrophobic, but it’s pleasant enough with nice soaps. The food section is lovely with lots of fine products. My favourite section is the cheese counter. Cannot resist buying one. Over all, you’ll have a great shopping experience.

My first time here, and what a feast for the eyes, the building is stunning and inside its like a jewellery box full of wonders. Every floor has gorgeous delights to look at and buy, the decor was exquisite, and there are some wonderful design installations. The staff were all so helpful and full of joy with big smiles, and nothing was too much effort for them. This was a real highlight of my trip to London, and it was worth a visit even if, like me, you didn't buy anything. So much choice I couldn't decide but also my wallet wouldn't stretch to my favourite designer jewellery peices.

The oldest department store in London as said by a guide food items are main when we enter the place lots of chocolates and wines and cakes its 5 story building I think I heard that many people give gifts such as cakes and biscuits from this shop and loved ones keep those packets (everything packed well really) All stalls inside the building sell different items as I said before. On the top floor, they sell cosmetics, ground floor they sell wine .. Also u can taste wine from there from the mini-bar

This store was super gorgeous and an amazing visit. The door was held open by the friendliest of door men which immediately left us feeling welcome. All the employees inside shared smiles with us as well. There is a very large assortment of foods such as tea, sweets, honey, jam, and even some in-house made gin! There was a massive selection of perfumes, colognes, and household fragrances. If silverware, dishware, and china is your thing, there's plenty of that too! Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

A beautiful, old school department store with something interesting on all of its floors (not just the ground floor). For example, if you've got time and fancy some ice cream, the parlour upstairs is well worth a visit with some great ice cream and a lovely space to enjoy it. When you visit, take a moment to take in the artworks spread throughout the store, a surprisingly extensive collection.

This is an awesome tea-centric store! I probably would have spent an entire day here and the entire contents of my wallet if I had the chance. They have every kind of tea you could imagine, including a counter for creating your own blend, and everything else tea related including accessories (tea strainers, etc), and a huge selection of biscuits. If you're not into tea they also have coffee, chocolate, and wine as well as other goodies. That's just the first floor, the other floors have Christmas-themed decorations and advent calendars (as of November at least), a food hall, and a tea salon. Service was great as well, I asked for a tea recommendation and the salesperson was friendly and very passionate about tea. Check this place out if you are in the area for sure.

Extreme luxury in all matters of fine food - WOW. Posh it appears and posh it is. This is an institution and not a food store and I can only say that it is a very special place to visit - a foodie’s Mecca. Quality is never in question. Food is the religion. Service is their way of life. Stopped for afternoon tea and the restaurant/ coffee shop is strategically placed on a mezzanine level at the end of the first floor. This means you are caught up in a whirlpool of delicacies before you make it there, and you have no choice but to be overwhelmed with s need to buy and consume the fare available. Which ranges from simple sweets to complex preserves- heavenly! We somehow made it to the restaurant and the staff are simply sweet and welcoming. Cannot fault anything in the presentation or the quality. We ordered tea, a cheese board and an apple crumble with ice cream to top it off. Wow! Cannot stop saying that! Wonderful- try it. The cheese board had oat biscuits, fig and pork confits spread, Stilton and two more indescribable fine cheeses. Extra biscuits were provided with a smile when we asked for them and a pleasant chat with our server just made us enjoy this experience even more

This store is definitely unique. So many products and floors. I came here to get some tea, biscuits, and chocolate and it was good. Even during busy times staff is helpful and doing their best. I cams here on December and I really didn't enjoy being in crowded and loud place. But I survived it. Generally, this was great place, and would have loved exploring it further, but it was crowded and not comfortable for me.

Afternoon tea here is fairly priced but you must allot at least 2 hours to fully enjoy the whole experience. The sandwiches are very good, scones are okay but the cakes were too much. The whole service was also okay, nothing exceptional and nothing went bad. I like that you can actually shop in the lower floors. So maybe spending 3 hours here will make it a good experience.

This is one of my favorite stores to visit while in London. It's the ideal place to buy assortments of tea, tea serving sets, gifts, chocolate, spices , condiments, bath & body goods, picnic baskets and so much more. The service here is absolutely impeccable by ever member of the team. Always friendly, helpful and accommodating. The prices here are very reasonable and competitive.
