Dogget’s
Coat
and
Badge
is
an
architecturally
unique
pub
with
great
views
across
the
River
Thames.
.
I
visited
here
to
watch
the
England
v
Germany
game
and
was
lucky
enough
to
get
a
table.
My
other
half
and
I
were
met
at
the
door
to
check
in
and
we
were
shown
to
our
table
by
a
really
nice
member
of
staff.
We
sat
in
the
covered
area
of
the
beer
garden
which
had
a
great
view
of
one
of
the
many
large
screen
TV’s
dotted
around
the
pub.
We
were
starving,
so
we
ordered
some
food
with
our
drinks
and
went
for
5
plates
of
bar
snacks
for
£24.
The
food
was
really
tasty
and
filled
us
up
in
preparation
for
an
evening
on
the
beer
watching
the
game.
The
atmosphere
was
great
throughout
the
game
and
was
made
more
memorable
with
a
win
over
the
Germans.
Even
though
I
was
wrapped
up
watching
the
footy,
I
couldn’t
help
but
notice
how
amazing
the
service
was
here.
The
guys
here
were
absolutely
all
over
it,
working
under
immense
pressure
going
from
table
to
table
making
sure
everyone
was
served.
.
When
I
look
at
this
pub,
it’s
very
difficult
what
to
make
of
the
buildings
brutalist
architecture,
but
the
longer
look
at
it
the
more
like
it.
I
must
admit,
prior
to
coming
here
I
had
envisaged
an
over
priced
tourist
trap
due
to
its
location,
but
what
I
actually
found
was
a
really
great
pub
with
excellent
service,
serving
decent
beer
and
food.
