A big shopping mall located opposite Barking Station, has a number of (mainly independent) outlets across various levels .. was really quiet on the Saturday that I visited - probably it's like this throughout the week. I guess this is now going to require some major investment to the building (maybe even the area) to bring people back here - there are still leaks in the building, interior feels very dated, entrance/exit doors out of use and run down and generally gives off a ghost town or abandoned kinda vibe. If the fate of this is anything like what is happening to Barking station (development) this could actually become a thriving place again. Oh, and there is parking available which is charged at rates displayed.

When this was first built it was a good place to visit with a lovely food court and lots of shops. Now it is a very dull, boring and lost all its character. The shops are not worth visiting and the one or two that are should be on the high street. Just knock it down and redevelop it into flats.

This shopping centre is really old, it doesn’t have any popular stores just full of random shops and businesses. I have known this shopping centre since I was a kid and it has definitely decreased population of people who visit this shopping centre. My personal opinion is that it should be fixed and renewed to look more appealing and add more business to this area more entertainment as well as good well known stores.

This place is an eyesore for Barking Town Centre. Glad the council has passed compulsory purchase order and are transforming Vicarage Field to create a new residential and commercial hub for East London.

This place has so much potential as there is so much shopping space here. Unfortunately the only shops worth visiting in here is B&M and two perfume shop and card factory. Dorothy Perkins/Evans and Burton have shut, only other shops are lots of cheap shops claiming to sell top notch fashion. More shops needed here and a little re-vamp wouldnt go amiss. There are rumours of demolition with flats to be built and a shopping centre underneath.....but so far its stayed at the rumour stage.

The centre needs a serious makeover. The atmosphere seems low and, there is hardly any shops that people will find of benefit to them. The stalls in shop continue to sell counterfeit goods and cheap items for high prices. Not a good look.

Nothing special at all. Run of the mill shops, no nice clothes or shoe shops. Used to be an argos and asda there, both gone. Wouldn't reccomend, actually horrible place in a horrible area, parking a nightmare!

There used to be so many shops in here including a large Asda, but these days it sits almost practically empty with no interesting shops. To call it a "shopping centre" would be a stretch

This shopping centre is so run down. The best thing about it is the B&M. Run down shops, all of tat shops as apposed to any decent one's. Could really do with a vamp up especially considering the new property developments in the area. So much potential

Like the rest of the area, the shopping centre has degenerated into a Third-World Bazaar! Filthy, cheap and devoid of character. Just flatten the whole area!

Not much you can find in this shopping center. Most of the shops are having the same deals and similar products (clothing) and in my opinion the open market outside (when is open) it has lot more options than the centre itself

The toilets are filthy. Whenever you use them theirs no toilet paper, the toilets stink of urine and the floor is filthy. The toilet doors get jammed. Also they close the toilets later in the afternoon even though the centre is still open. What do they expect babies who need changing of disabled people to do? Management of this centre is terrible and clearly cannot manage it.

Loved it! All the staff are so friendly and helpful, even the fruit & Veg man who directed me to the post office when I first went there. Been back several times, had my hair done, nails done, bought some nice bits and a new pair of Air pods for a great price. 10/10 from me and will visit again soon : ) Thank you, you made my day!

I was there on day one of the opening, and a great day it was full of entertainment. Sadly it has deterriated over the last 40 yrs its been there. 👎👎👎👎 Sad to see the once busy well used shopping Centre become almost derelict. 😢 now waiting to be pulled down for more FLATS!!!! 👎👎👎😕

I have lived in barking for over 20 years however this Mall is like a street market and definitely is in need of proper shops and modernisation. It's very dated and could do with modern shops.

Always used this for a bypass to reach station lol. This time explored shops especially b & m , and other stores inside. Bought a grocery bag from inside a place (not b&m) it broke its wheel next day. I should have brought from some where else paying lil more. B&m have offers going on where we can find everything and some at worth buying price.

Shopping experience is fine, but the male toilet facilities are disgusting. There are no toilet seats, full of graffiti and the floors are always flooded with water and urine. Not a nice experience.

Terrible this place needs to be updated ASAP. Its old with boring shops that all have the same things. The best shop is B&M. This place needs Homebargins or a primark, H&M, TKM. Something worth travelling to come see. The Boots across the road is also rubbish and needs a huge update. This place would work well with a kids soft play like kidsspace in Romford. At the moment this place looks abandoned.😔 It needs the feeling of a lakeside or westfield or even gallions reach. A place for friends and family to have entertainment and enjoy.

Good to visit with family and friends to spend some time for shopping. A lot more stores inside for your needs.

  • 3/5 Jas S. 9 months ago on Google
Furniture shops, a few clothes shops and a post office, and a b&m store along with some tech shops. And some interesting micro shops to boot. Not very busy since asda and argos relocated. So a chilled out experience.

Large shopping center, with many different stores in the same space. Home utilities to clothes are all present here. Not to mention, small bite stores. Eyeglasses shop that provides vision tests and glasses.

Its a small shopping mall but you can find everything easily, groceries, clothing, food, a lot of beauty salons and also post office. You can park your car easily, shopping mall has many entrances you can easily access from 4 sides you don’t need to go around and find a gate.

Decent little local shopping center. Dont expect designer shops and blue chip companies, this is only a local shopping center. Very very cheap. Was actually a nice visit

I go to get my eyebrows & lashes done there in a lovely little shop by B & M's. That also is a great shop for all your garden house & food shop

I have bought several tops out off Diffas that are in real good condition. I often go into B&M for items for the home and cheep Redbull and Milk Shake they always have what your looking for and clean toilets if cut short. And I like the stalls on the ground floor

Location is good enough with lack of brands. Only a few shops inside the mall, no big brands for shopping and retail as well. Construction of mall is also much old and outdated. No customer flow during weekdays and weekends. Not recommend for shopping will give only two stars.

It's an okay shopping centre. It's been years since I last visited and it hasn't changed massively. There are some good independent shops and cafès inside. There are toilets and baby changing facilities but I think they could do with an update.

Good for local shopping , discount fashion shop. There are some coffee shops and this place is always busy with locals . Good for community and local business. Barking is full of mixed community. Most of them from Africa and Asian countries. You can also find some nice foods in this shopping center. Some African and some are spicy Asian
