Whoever
wanted
to
create
the
,,monstrous,
together
with
,,nasty,,
nailed
it
with
placing
primark
at
Westfield
shopping
centre.
It's
a
nightmare
considering
those
2
power
houses
of
retail
industry
have
no
respect
for
the
environment
protection
and
the
only
aim
is
to
profit.
In
addition
Westfield
management
had
proved
to
be
a
hypocritical
winner
of
the
decade
by
allowing
primark
to
reside
on
its
retail
space.
Why
u
ask?
Cause
in
2008
when
Westfield
opened
,they
rejected
primark
to
have
a
retail
space
cause
they
were
aiming
for
more
premium
brands.
15
years
later
they
awarded
primark
with
the
biggest
retail
space.
Hypocrisy
at
its
best
supported
with
greed
and
materialistic
benefits.
I
love
clothes
and
I
love
fashion
but
I
changed
my
shopping
habits
and
climate
change
def
influences
what
I
do
and
how
I
shop.
I
was
never
a
big
fan
of
fast
and
cheap
fashion.
This
kind
of
retail
is
destructive
and
damaging
,and
sends
the
wrong
message
to
customers.
Retail
productions
have
a
huge
impact
on
economy
and
environment.
Consumerism
today
needs
to
be
reviewed
and
actioned
upon.
Looking
at
pales
of
clothes
at
primark
,angers
me.
At
its
everywhere!
Tons
of
fabrics
across
this
store
is
everything
against
what
I
believe.
I
don't
see
any
urgency
in
keeping
standards.
Clothes
are
on
the
floor
,
walked
upon,
trashed
and
already
dirty
before
being
purchased
which
will
add
on
to
a
wastage.
And
I
imagine
huge
quantities
are
wasted
just
by
looking
at
the
floor.
Many
of
you
will
tell
me
to
shut
up
and
accept
how
the
massive
consumption
works
these
days.
I
understand
there's
8
billion
of
us
and
only
few
can
afford
Gucci
and
Prada.
And
I'm
not
against
high
street
and
effordable
retailers.
What
I'm
trying
to
highlight
and
change
are
our
habits
of
how
we
shop
and
use
our
clothes.
And
every
little
helps
here!
Imagine
if
we
cut
down
on
quantities
of
clothes.
To
treat
them
better
and
care,
to
make
sure
we
can
used
them
longer
and
reusethem
again.
If
you
can
reduce
your
shopping
visits
you
could
contribute
immensely
to
carbon
footprint
reduction
and
climate
change.
I
did
some
research
and
I
couldn't
find
Primark
to
be
committed
to
any
pledges
or
project
regarding
climate
change,
which
is
horrific
and
disappointing.
Changes
are
made
with
help
of
numbers
and
its
masses
of
customers
will
change,
make
it
or
break
climate
future.
Some
of
you
might
say
that
40%
of
worlds
pollution
is
contributed
by
only
1%
percentag
of
the
riches.
And
that's
shocking
in
itself!
But
I
also
think
that
Changes
need
to
be
embraced
and
actioned
by
all
classes
of
society
and
need
to
actioned
by
ourselves
in
a
first
place.
So
I
stopped
shopping
for
clothes
which
I'm
intetested
in
but
I
don't
really
need.
Cause
why
would
I
get
7th
pair
of
jeans
if
I
wear
only
two
at
all?
I
went
thru
my
wardrobe
and
scale
down
to
essentials
and
practical
clothing
I
wear.
It's
good
to
visualise
what
we
have
.
I
rediscovered
items
I
totally
forgot
about.
Items
I
never
wore
but
kept
in
wardrobe,
bags
and
everywhere
I
could.
I
promised
myself
to
be
more
respectful
and
practical.
To
use
and
reuse
them.
To
fight
my
vanity
and
shopping
habits
and
start
big
changes
in
my
own
yard.
And
so
I
did
in
my
own
heart.I
find
it
disappointing
how
people
just
talk
and
dont
do
the
walk.Everyone
preaches
the
importance
of
changes
but
only
few
get
actually
to
it
and
get
hands
dirty..
So
my
message
here
is
simple
and
strong.Put
your
words
where
your
mouth
is
and
remember
that
actions
speak
louder
then
words.
Look
at
your
lifestyle,
be
more
aware
and
considerate
to
our
planet
and
don't
hide
behind
clothes
doors
becoming
a
passive
by
stander.
And
if
it's
hard
to
imagine
how
small
"you"
can
save
a
big
planet
like
earth,
then
imagine
your
kids
your
family
and
next
generations
what
you
leave
them
with
.
Think
twice..
