Stayed here for 2 nights. Apart from the fact that the rooms are small (very small), everything else was great. The room was clean, plush and with all conveniences. Bathroom had the shower with just the right pressure and temperature. Had lunch too- decent food. Wine by the glass selection is amazing- goes on and on. Had two. What sets it apart though is the service. Decent location. Opposite aM&S Food. Walking distance from the Tower of London.

Overpriced hotel. Positioned as affordable quality. This was neither. As a regular business traveler to London I can confirm there is much better accommodation available for the price. The room was tiny. Bed touched the wall on three sides. There was nowhere comfortable to relax in the room apart from the bed. The controls were infuriating as you could only operate the lights from a tablet. Not ideal when one is getting up in the dark. There was no iron in the room only in a communal ironing room (not that the one on the 4th floor worked). The sink was tiny and in the bedroom. All in all a very basic and overpriced experience.

Room was small.... But other hotel Facilities where great. Fun bar with lots of lounge space which can be used for working during the day. Efficient check-in and checkout process that can be self managed.

First time staying with this brand and shocked how good it is. The rooms are not huge (who cares) but the bed it and its all big enough for a central London Hotel room. Great tech with everything controlled by an ipad or via your own phones app. My checkin on the app didn't work - didn't care - had a chance to chat to the staff and they were great. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Cost £119 for one night which is good. When you check in you can give room preferences on screen which is nice. Would definitely stay again

Loved this hotel. Excellent, friendly service. Great location (it's about a 6-8 minute walk from London Bridge Underground Station) and you are absolutely spoilt for great places to eat and drink nearby. Love the room setup too and the mattress was super comfortable. Will for sure be visiting again.

Wow, I could not have been happier with our stay at this hotel and this will definitely be our go-to if we're able to travel to London again if not for its prime location alone to main tube lines and Borough Market. Check-In/Check-out was super easy via self-service screens and upon checking in, I loved that we were able to just opt-in and pay for late checkout rather than have to ask and wait to see if we could. We were also able to utilize luggage storage prior to checking in and after checking out. Overall the staff was also so nice and friendly and the accommodations really made an impression on me, I will definitely make it a point to look for CitizenM hotels on my trips moving forward!

The hotel is very funky, meant to be "lifestyle" choice, and it is always my first choice for recommending a friend to stay when visiting London. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, especially Shaniah, Sukhi and Omario. The breakfast is always very nice with good options, however the eggs are not my favourite. The room is exactly the right size for one or two people to be comfortable, the bed is massive but only accessible from one side which can be difficult for mobility issues. Overall, amazing place, I am in love!

Veeeeeeery nice!!!! Comfy, clean, pretty…. Tiny rooms but feel super nice and make it good value 💸 good ethics with employees… friendly… always stay here and look forward to coming again! PS - breakfast is awesome 🤩

The rooms are a lot smaller than pictured. The bed literally takes up half the room on one side. You have to crawl over each other to get in and out of it. Not an efficient use of space for such a small room. With that being said, it's very fun and modern space.

Not the cheapest, but also quite affordable. The experience is simply amazing, this is actually the only hotel that I seriously wish they had more locations worldwide. Room is small, but bed is absolutely huge, which is exactly what you need.

Nice hotel, staff friendly. I get the concept with the smaller rooms (we liked our room, cosy, quiet for a great nights sleep) but if you are saying the downstairs is an alternative to spending time in the room, not offering free tea and coffee is ridiculous in a supposed 4 star hotel. The breakfast wasn’t great but this could be down to personal preference I didn’t enjoy the fruit which was flavourless and the eggs were not nice at all. As we were about to leave our room the grate in the ceiling fell down and was lucky not to cause more damage, not the fault of the hotel these things happen but all added together I don’t see what makes this hotel a 4 star. The experience was more of a basic hotel

This hotel was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful as well as the place itself being beautifully decorated with Art and furniture. Check in was swift and contactless which during this time was brilliant. Our room was awesome. Cleanliness - 10/10. The room was very clean and we had the option whether to have it cleaned every day or times in which we wanted it cleaned. Bed - 10/10. The Super King bed was comfy as well as the whitev duvet being warm and soft. The pillows where soft too and you can request more using the ipad. Room: 9/10. The cool tech that is used within this room is 2nd to none. The ipad within controls the lighting, tv with a good selection of free movies and TV channels. The heating and A.C were good but some times the temperature wouldn't work so it was either really hot or really cold. The shower was AMAZING. I recommend anyone get a waterfall shower as I could of stayed in there for hours. This coupled with the ambient lighting really was superb. Staff: 10/10. Friendly, helpful and chatty which made it feel comfortable. Location: 8/10. The location is good. Behind the Tate Modern. The only concern we had was the tube stations where a good 10 minutes walk so it was a nuisance when raining. There are shops near by (Tescos, M&S, Sainsburys) for snacks which was good as we as some food places. We didn't try the food (Breakfast, Dinner or Roo Service

Awesome hotel. It’s location is perfect. Staff was kind and helpful! Rooms are fun and the tech features were great helping us adjust to london time! Overall we had a great experience! Also, Black Sheep Coffee around the corner was our favorite morning routine! We highly recommend and would stay here again!

Friendly welcome to this interesting hotel in Borough / South Bank. Modern (smallish?) styled all-in-one room with shower/toilet cubicle and a vanity in the room. Everything in room controlled by ipad, mood lights, TV, blinds etc.. Air con quite noisy, but no noise from street/rooms (4th floor). Lounge/bar/breakfast area huge with lots of space and interesting decor. Will use again probably, nicely different from Premier/TLodge for only a little more expense.

The room was small but nice. The heat was almost non-existent. We called to complain but they said just to play with the controls. We ended up using the hair dryer to warm up the room.

Perfect hotel for a short stay in London. For pleasure or for work. The room seems small but it was more than big enough, with an ipad you can control the lights, tv, blinds, curtains, airco,… hasselfree. The lobby is big and cosy. Great to relax or to work. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. The location is perfect too. Walking distance from the Tate Modern and public transport. We’ll be back.

This is basically a capsule hotel. If you have a romantic time in mind you better hold your call of nature. The bathroom is basically a small glass box right next to the bed where your partner can watch you perform your absolutions.

Great quirky hotel. Ideal location south of the river. Walking distance to all local attractions and tube station to the rest of London. Staff were very helpful on checking in. Rooms are very modern with iPad controls for the blinds etc. huge comfortable bed, wish we could have stayed longer.

Citizen M Bankside was a fantastic hotel. It is edgy and clean. The staff was so helpful and happy. I felt like everyone truly loved their job. The room the super clean and the be was so comfortable. The check in and check out was so seamless. The breakfast was fabulous! Highly recommend and will be back.

Lovely stay, great service. Rooms are compact but have everything you need including extremely comfy, and massive bed, black out blinds and cool lighting. There is also a little bar fridge in the room which we found useful. Location is super central, and is surrounded by bars and restaurants, plus supermarkets if you need. The courtyard light well with seating, in the centre of the building is a really cool feature too.

This hotel was clean and nice. The staff were really nice. It is walkable to different restaurants nearby. There is also a 24/7 bar on the first floor. My only complaint is that the room itself was rather small.

First time saying at a citizenM but this was a stellar stay. While the rooms are a bit small, this was communicated on their booking website. Staff was super friendly and the check in process was [relatively] seamless. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others who want a stay in the City without being at the center of it (quick walk to London Bridge tube station).

This place deserves its high rating. Great staff. Great location. Rooms are small yet have everything you need. Bed is super comfy. Shared spaces are lovely and chilled.

Well this is kinda hard as I watched them stitch this building together in record time using shipping containers… so rooms feel too much like that to keep my claustrophobia at bay. Water for room only available if you go to bar to get it. No iron in room but iron on the floor is pretty good (irritating but good for planet). Staff on desk were excellent, but can’t help feeling that paying for 4 star and getting 3 despite the nice decor. No daily room service also seemed pretty odd. Turns out you have to book it - but not obvious from app. Could’ve been excellent - just lost one star for niggles and second star for room size. And just how on earth a woman’s legs opening and closing to open the app seems appropriate in our current climate is beyond me.

Great hotel - centrally located and the rooms are exceptionally well-appointed for the size. Our room faced the street but was quiet and comfortable. Nice fluffy towels and a rain shower plus black-out blinds were great touches.

The rooms are extremely small, no cleaning service - only on request. The bed is covering nearly all of the room and the proposed sleeping set-up for couples is so, that one has to climb over the other to get in/out of the bed. Our drain was clogged. Digital check-in might be ok if you are traveling alone, but for a group of 7 it was not really efficient Very friendly and helpful staff at reception and bar. BUT set-up of Lobby and bar is nice and invites for resting. Selection at breakfast is good - specifically fresh fruits and coffee.

The hotel was amazing to look at! They had lots of neat furnishings and oddities on the walls. The staff was very helpful and the service was well done. My only issues were that the room was controlled by an iPad, which, probably wouldn't bother anybody who's younger than I am. But... The climate control in the room didn't operate properly. We had it set at 64° f and the room never got cooler than 75. The management staff, however, offered to have us change rooms or they could bring us a fan.. I opted for the fan and at least it made the room seem bearable. When I checked in they told me I would have a partial view of the courtyard and we did not. We had a partial view of the alleyway and a dumpster. But that's not really what hotel rooms are for, is it? All in all, the room was just as nice as it would have been at the Holiday inn. Just more expensive. They do have a nice little breakfast available in the mornings and there is a grocery store across the street which has all the things that you could possibly need.

I would say it’s the best service hotel I’ve ever been in. Staff couldn’t be nicer (and cooler!), and you just don’t want to leave the hotel as it has such a great vibe. Highly recommend! Best value for money ever!

Funky hotel. Bedroom was very comfortable. Service on arrival and departure was excellent. Service and food in the evening was pretty poor however. Breakfast was good. Cool place to drink and sleep but go elsewhere for dinner.

Ok it might feel like you woke up in a Virgin Atlantic HQ staff party c 1995 but that aside, it's an amazing place. It's the staff that make it, so kind, helpful and welcoming, they really looked after me. The bed was incredibly comfortable, tech worked and was manageable, terrific location etc. Thanks to everyone whom I encountered for your pragmatism, humour and kindness!

Brilliant customer service straight from walking in the door. Lovely rooms, although any level of privacy in the inner rooms can only be achieved with the blinds and curtains down. Lovely coffee and dining in experience, very welcome atmosphere for working, lounging, or a cocktail or two. Room service and calling from the room was easy and quick, the mood lighting and automation of the room was great with some latency and minor issues with the tech that required a little patience. Only criticisms are one or two minor stains on their creamy/white curtains and lampshades that were clearly clean, but just visible when lying in bed whilst it's still light outside, which wasn't great. I didn't mention to staff at the time as I'd slept so well and had forgotten by the time I'd gotten downstairs still thinking about how comfy and nice the stay was - so it can't have been that bad and so 5 stars all round! I'm even now looking to buy some pillows because theirs were just the best! Thanks again.

Our room was very small, felt like a room in a cruise ship. Bed was firm. The shower was awesome, great water pressure. Very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast each morning was good. Great location too.
