Room extremely basic ( too much so The bed was like sleeping on a rock I think I'd of found a park bench more comfortable! Room has 2 electronics in the room a tv and a fridge no other plug sockets so had to go without the telly as needed to charge the phone and no fridge as needed that socket for plugging in my wheelchair to charge over night. Only good thing was the market outside the hotel in the morning which the hotel manager obviously has no say in unless u have no other option I'd avoid going here.

Well, first of all, this what it's called a hotel, is one of the cheapest in London, 50£ or so (March 2023). If you are looking for a cheap stay regardless of service or room amenity, then this is for you, otherwise try to forgo this hotel. I got a room in the basement or celar with locked window. There's nothing outside to look at, maybe a wall since you are in the basement, but what I mean is, there are no ventilation. The room stinks disgustfully like hell of ash-tray. Like someone was smoking the whole year and as said window is locked and no ventilation. The less than 1m² toilet with built-in shower has at least an exhaust air - this doesn't help to get fresh air. The room is just a large ash-tray. Normally I would review with one star, but because it's cheap, two stars. There's a near bus station taking you to the tube.

The room was nothing like it is shown in the pictures, barely got a greeting on arrival. TV remote didn't work at first, no blacony as per booking. Also the front of house staff were up in the reception area until around 12-1am making a fair amount of noise. So if you need to be up early do not stay here

The room we had was awful, the shower room smelt like damp, no where to hang your clothes, no lamp, the bed was hard and squeaked all night, every time we moved. No stars at all only minus. The pictures they have on their website must be from a different hotel because the place looks nothing like the pictures, please save your money and book a nice place to stay.

This hotel is not a hotel, it is a scam! Beyond any hotel standards. The description of amenities does not match reality. There is no air conditioning, no breakfast in the hotel! There wasn't even ventilation in my room... there was a window, but it opened outwards only to the corridor... The bathroom (sic!) is a shower cubicle with a toilet bowl and sink installed inside... Some of the furniture in the room was just dirty.

Awful hotel my friend got stuck in the toilet as the door handle fell off inside. The receptionist was asleep on the sofa when we went to check out. No where near worth what we paid and it wasn't allot

It's small hotel in Roman Street with cozy environment. Staff is good and cooperative. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is not provided there, have to dine out. A Turkish cafeteria opposite to hotel have good quality food. There's nearby 1 minute walk a bus station to move easily on the otherwise can get a rent a car or Uber which is costly.

5 stars all round. Look. Here’s the deal with this place. If you’re coming here on holiday and want a full hotel experience. Then yes, you’re going to be disappointed. But if you want a place to lay your head down for a very reasonable price with no expectations, then this is the one. I give this place 5 stars all round. Nice staff, good facilities, a place to crash. Don’t listen to the haters

Really nice staff, super affordable rooms. Could do with slightly better cleaning but I would still recommend this place for anyone on a budget. The street outside is old school east London too which I really appreciated. Check out the jellied eels across the street and try to forget about that weird Japanese movie you saw as a teenager with the eels you know the one

Very dirty hotel with unpleasant staff who try to scam you. This hotel is by far the worst hotel I every stayed in and probably will be for ever. Besides that it is way to expensive for the location and the service (there is no service) the staff also scammed us into paying more since they forgot to write down the propper date after a reschdule. The room is dirty to say the least there were blood stains on the blankets and fungus in the shower/ toilet. There was dirt everywhere and they probably did not clean anything at all. The staff doesn't care about one thing when being told. Please help yourself and NEVER go here!!

I had to cancel my stay last minute due to a mistake in booking, and after trying to reason with the hotel they denied any kind of refund. I am aware my booking was a mistake on my part, but the reaction I received from them was AWFUL, especially considering the hotel I booked after is a 4 star and only cost me £7 more for a STELLAR room. Absolutely atrocious prices.

The room was sadly lacking. A double bed in a single room, a shower that was the toilet also. You could only shower whilst sitting on toilet. No where to put your toilet roll either. The father and son (I believe) were pleasant enough but for £80 it was less than basic

Loved it here, would definitely come back, travelled alone for a night and the staff was very welcoming and available. It is a safe place and we even had a night of laughs and spicy chicken !
