Some of the best food I had during my time in London. They stay true to their roots in real Sichuan style food. The flavors were exquisite, the spice level was exactly what I needed from the peppercorns, it wasn’t too oily, it was perfectly cooked. Good service and the food didn’t take too long to come out after ordering. This is a no frills, not too fancy type spot but I will definitely be back.

Braised pigs’ trotters are amazing! Steamed pork ribs with rice paste in a bamboo tube are also great! “Lantern Shadow” Beef (p4) is a cold starter, and really spicy. Staffs are friendly.

Very delicious!!! Highly recommend!!! If u like eat traditional spicy Chinese food, come to try. The milk tea is also good!! It’s Hong Kong tradition favorite. 2 people order three main meals are too much.

We went to Ermei on the first day of Chinese New Year. The staffs were accommodating, and despite it being a busy day, most of them had a smile on their face. We had Mapo Tofu, water-boiled pork slices and long green beans. Every dish was awesome and we finished everything. The water-boiled pork slices had a saucy, thick soup base, and while I'd normally prefer a thinner soup, it was still delicious. Nothing beats red and fiery dishes on the first day of CNY! P.s. they give out free drinks to customers who give reviews on social media platforms. While I could not be bothered to do such a thing, I would be sceptical if the majority of reviews are genuine.

A nice place to come for family gathering, really authentic! Relatively spicy, if you cant eat spice remember to ask for less spice. You could get soya if you make a review too! Spicy pork intestine and golden egg yolk tofu was lovely. Will come back soon :)

The food portion is huge, the sweet and sour fish is superb … we also had the shredded potato which is fabulous as well as pork ribs steamed in bamboo. Service was prompt and the atmosphere was good too.

It is really difficult to find a Chinese restaurant around China town with good hygiene rating. This one has 5 stars hygiene rating. We enjoyed the food here very much. Most importantly, it tastes fresh and clean, which are not like the food in other Chinese restaurants. Often the food and source were pre-made and kept for many days or weeks. Er Mei is different! We will come back and try some other dishes!

Best Sichuan food I’ve had in London. The price was fair considering the size of the serving. Four of us had 4 dishes and still had some leftovers (we’ve tried but all of us we’re completely full). Definitely would come again.

It has a wide range of colors, flavors and dishes. The bamboo chops taste good. Roast fish is the signature dish here, and milk tea is a kind of sweet tea made by his family. The service attitude is really very good in Chinese restaurants in Chinatown.

This place is very nice. The food is spicy, but Sichuan style, so it doesn't burn your mouth like Thai spice. We ordered the stir fried beef, the fish and the mouth watering chicken. All three were tasty. I also recommend ordering a wanglaoji drink if you are not used to spice, as it's very soothing. We would certainly come again.

Very delicious food, and a great atmosphere. The service was really good and the waiter was very nice and helpful. I especially liked the chicken and the frog legs. Price is good and portions are very generous. Recommend to anyone wanting delicious Chinese food
