An
Unforgettable
Misadventure
at
The
Anthologist!
If
you're
a
fan
of
culinary
chaos
and
enjoy
playing
"Guess
When
Your
Order
Will
Arrive,"
then
The
Anthologist
in
London
is
your
dream
destination!
My
recent
visit
to
this
restaurant
was
nothing
short
of
a
comical
calamity.
Upon
entering,
you're
immediately
greeted
with
an
air
of
indifference
that's
almost
impressive.
The
staff,
mastering
the
art
of
nonchalance,
seems
to
be
in
a
perpetual
state
of
break.
They've
elevated
not
caring
to
an
art
form!
The
waiting
game
for
drinks
could
easily
be
a
new
Olympic
sport.
By
the
time
our
drinks
arrived,
I
had
almost
forgotten
what
I
ordered.
It's
a
great
place
to
contemplate
the
mysteries
of
life,
like
"Why
am
I
still
here?"
As
for
the
food,
calling
it
disappointing
would
be
a
compliment.
It
was
as
if
the
chef
threw
a
dart
at
a
flavor
chart
and
went
with
whatever
it
hit,
regardless
of
whether
it
made
any
culinary
sense.
Each
dish
was
a
surprise,
not
because
of
innovative
cooking,
but
because
you
couldn't
tell
what
it
was
supposed
to
be.
In
summary,
The
Anthologist
is
perfect
for
those
who
cherish
low
expectations
and
have
an
abundance
of
time.
For
everyone
else,
it's
a
humorous
tale
to
tell
friends
about
how
not
to
run
a
restaurant!
