We were a bit disappointed by the whole experience. The staff is super nice, nothing to say about them. The food arrive in 1 minute and it looked like it was heated up in the microwave, which messed up the eggs. I've lived in Japan and went to my fair share of ramen bars: there is definitely no need to assemble it beforehand and then heat it up. Just make it fresh. It takes 5 minutes. We also asked about the takoyaki which we thought were a bit expensive, and turns out they buy them premade, so no reason to give them almost £9 for something I can find in a shop. The food tasted good, but I was disappointed with the eggs and in general I wasn't mindblown. I also didn't appreciate how the table were all so close together, and you could see that they brought in tables from outside to seat more people. I know hospitality was hard hit by COVID but with over 100k cases per day it felt a bit out of place. That's just my opinion though. Anyway, compared to other ramen places in London I was pretty underwhelmed by the whole experience. I won't be coming back.

Good place for a quick bite. Speedy service and nice hot food. Had chicken boa each and one chicken katsu curry to share. The waitress helped us get plates for sharing even though its not ‘customary’ that they do that.

I'm going quite often to this brand of restaurants. But this one is a bit disappointing. The service was not dynamic and really slow. The personnel was not asking for our order, and didn't bring the water unless you chase them for everything. Food is good though. The shoryu ramen of Piccadilly or Kingsley court are more efficient if you need a quick lunch.

Ramen & sake was delicious. I recommend trying the flight of sake to get a sample of a few. Server & assistant manager were excellent. We sat outside & enjoyed the outdoor element (less busy/loud). Pictures are of spicy pork & curry ramen.

Disappointing evening. The services was slow and the timing was poor. My starter and main arrived together, a full 15 minutes before the rest of the mains. We ended up eating staggered. The left the desserts on the side so the matcha cheese cake could defrost at the same time as allowing the ice creams scoops to melt. We intervened and still go one frozen cheese cake and one melted ice cream. There was no rice available so a good part of the menu was unavailable. We were only told 5 minutes after ordering that 2 things we’d ordered weren’t available. One of the back ups, a cucumber salad was very poor. A few cucumber slices with some of the macerating seasonings sprinkles on just before being served. A genuine Japanese chef would wince. We asked the services charge to be removed and then we’re asked to explain why. So we did. And then wrote this review. Overall very disappointing.

We love this place and their ramen! It's usually very busy and centrally located, so be prepared to wait in line, but it's definitely worth it. Their specialty ramen is super delicious and very thick - a must-try for ramen lovers. The unique tradition of greeting new customers with a drum hit and a phrase in Japanese adds a charming touch, though, unfortunately, we didn't experience this personally despite our inquiries, which was a bit disappointing. Because of this, I'm rating the service 4 stars. Still, I highly recommend the food and overall experience!"

Shoryu Ramen on Regent Street is an absolute noodle paradise! The ramen here is a flavor explosion that leaves your taste buds doing a happy dance. The staff is super attentive and adds to the overall enjoyable experience. The ambiance is trendy yet cozy, making it a great spot to slurp some top-notch ramen. Each bowl feels like a comforting hug on a chilly day. If you're a ramen enthusiast, this place is a must-visit. Five stars for consistently delivering a ramen experience that's nothing short of amazing!

I've been to Shoryu Ramen a few times now, and I've always had a great experience. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I highly recommend the signature ramen, but everything on the menu is great.

It was an amazing meal, the best ramen I've ever had. I ordered the spicy natural ramen, and my husband had the pumpkin croquette curry. I would visit here every day if we lived in London.

Went after a recommendation from a friend and I'm so glad I did! Tha ramen at Shoryu are authentic from Japan, with really taste sauce and ingredients cooked to perfection. I got a spicy ramen and the waitress really explained to me which kind of spiciness should I expect from it - instead of just saying "it's spicy" so it was a nice touch. I had a table for one as a walk-in on a not so busy time in the middle of the day on a Sunday, but reservations are recommended.

Had instant availability and Monday was 2 for 1 bun night which was excessive but good. Ramen was tasty with a good variety of toppings. Sauce was a little salty for my taste, even with a cool and refreshing beer to wash it down.

This branch seems to be better in terms of quality to the Soho branch. Overall the ramen is very good, pretty generous portions. Well worth a try if passing through the area.

Chicken katsu curry Ramen is the most popular and it does meet the expectations. The broth is rich and the noodles are perfectly cooked. The meat is juicy and has the right amount of spices.

Food is authentic Japanese ramen. But it will be better if customers can be seated once tables are available.

Really flavorful ramen! We went to get the Final Fantasy event set menu and loved our dishes! We got the dirty lichee cocktail, which was better than we thought I’d be, the tonkotsu ramen, which was creamy and felt so satisfying on a cold day. For desert we got the ice cream, since they were out of mochi unfortunately. Staff were also friendly!

We had a nice time at Shoryu. Their ramen was exactly what we needed on a long cold day. We managed to book a table the same day a bit in advance so we didn't have to wait to be seated. We tried the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was really good. The broth was very savory and the portion was alright.

Very nice chicken katsu curry and friendly waiters. I went back to have the chicken katsu ramen and I wasn't fully pleased, it was definitely very tasty however not the same katsu curry flavour, still very good food nonetheless.

Absolutely amazing food, great vibe and everything My only very small complaint is, that it took a little while for the waiter to write down the food, but that’s about it Would defiently go here again

This restaurant was a last minute decision and it turned out to be a decent place. Calming atmosphere and the staff were really nice. Food was pretty decent too.

Delicious food, generous portions, great service. You can order using a QR code on the table which was great and meant that we could place the order in our own time. The food and drinks arrived quickly and the waiters were very efficient, checking on us often and clearing the table of starters and sides plates as they emptied. The ramen portions are also very generous for the price. They also have good vegetarian and vegan options. Would recommend.

Probably the best ramen you’re gonna find in the city. Variety of options in terms of noodles, broth, and sides. The sake was good as well as the bao buns. Service was decent.

Amazing Ramen with black garlic, very tasty. But the Takoyaki Octopus Balls are just to die for. Highly recommended. I could probably eat 3 servings. The bao was also one of the best I've tried. I went on a Saturday so it was very busy but service was still quite quick and personal. Really nice fast food place.

After a long walk through the parks what a lovely restaurant to come for an early dinner. Absolutely delicious food. The staff are lovely and very attentive. Clean washroom with the bonus of a Japanese toilet. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

This was my second visit and for sure not the last one. It was a great ramen experience, worth waiting to get a reservation. The broth was creamy and everything was very well balanced. The portion was also pretty big which prolonged the overall experience.

I went today with my kids. When we get to the door , a male staff member was talking to someone and thought he would talk to us after. Instead he finished his conversation with the other guy and went inside closing the door behind. We were waiting , nobody was bothered to attend us. So we went in , still the staff members were chatting to each other as if we don’t exist. I tried to catch their eyes and finally a female staff came with full of negative attitude. She didn’t even ask if we had booked a table. She was telling us that it’s busy and the only place available was out side. We said that’s fine. Then she went on saying, it’s going to rain soon. We said that’s okay. Then she just ignored that and said today is busy , mind you other people were sitting outside. I asked her how long do we have to wait for a table roughly. She kept her negative attitude, telling us she doesn’t know and she doesn’t think it’s possible today. She basically wanted to get rid of us. I believe the other staff member who closed the door on us first told her to say no as well as I saw him saying something to her before she approached us. They are very rude and I think racist as well. Will never go to that place again. I went there for my daughter as she has been there with family friend before. We were humiliated.
