Great location and views, we popped in here after a Thames boat tour for lunch. The kids burgers - the buns were toasted and hard. Really need to have been a soft bun. Chicken dish, great portion (also overdone) Service was good apart from took a while to get our desserts after we had ordered it. Friendly Staff and attentive

I’ve come across Café Rouge totally by chance as it was very close to my hotel. I had a vegan breakfast & and an Oat Cappuccino and both were pretty good. Prices are perhaps even below average compared to other similar places nearby. Having said that, the service was very slow and poorly organized, and it got worse as the coffee shop got busier. Positive experience overall but they certainly need to work on improving the attentiveness & speed of service.

For the price, this breakfast was excellent. The French toast was quite tasty and the strawberries were perfectly ripe. I would definitely like to return here to try the afternoon tea soon!

We have never been to Cafe Rouge so was not sure what to expect. We had traditional afternoon tea and omg it was so nice. The sandwiches were toasted bloomer with melted cheese on the top. I am not a big cheese lover but I enjoyed every mouthful. My other half is not a big chocolate fan but he even ate the chocolate cake. The staff were very attentive. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for your great service.

Not quite what we'd hoped for on our evening out. I've always been A Cafe Rouge fan but this wasn't a great example of the chain. The service wasn't as friendly as expected, the calamari was overcooked, the pate had insufficient (Mothers Pride style) today and the salad was somewhat miserable. The food news is that the steak was excellent.

A big disappointment. Meat was supposed to be pink, was instead overcooked. Gray and hard to chew. The burger was also overcooked. Waiter not very friendly. Will not come back. A service charge of 12,5% is automatically added to the bill.

Had duck with cherry sauce, comes with potatoes and very sad limp looking cabbage. Duck was nice but potatoes burnt and cabbage was microwaved to death! Servers very friendly and attentive..great atmospheric restaurant as over looks st Katherines dock. Overall food disappointing Starter was luke warm..

I have been dined in Cafe Rouge many times in the past but I choose the restaurant in St Katharine's docks. Busy restaurant during dinner time, only 2 staffs are working tonight for table servicing includes check bill and 1 bar staff, expecting a little waiting time for foods. Service is good, friendly staffs, foods are yummy, drinks menu a little expensive. Overall I had a great time dining tonight!

Great location and view for a delicious breakfast in one of my favourite spots in London, St Katherine’s Dock!

Visited again this evening. Slowly but shortly Cafe Rouge is going downhill and I wouldn't be surprised if the holding company retired the brand sometime soon. Despite excellent service from the staff, food was mediocre, menu limited an no French cheese, French aperitifs (such as Ricard) or French digestifs. Cafe Rouge has sadly lost its way. Previous visit had been a thoroughly enjoyable evening meal in a beautifully French environment and ambience. Outstanding customer service delivered by Daniel and Chris who were both attentive and knowledgeable.

Good food and a cozy atmosphere. However, the menu description was misleading; I didn't expect my salmon to be prepared the way it was. Overall, a pleasant experience but with room for improvement in menu clarity.

Don't venture into a Cafe Rouge very often, but when I do I'm always amazed the chain survives as it's never busy. Went in on a weekday 12:30 and there were half a dozen tables occupied. The food was pretty decent - everything was hot and came out quickly. Chips were fresh and crunchy, chicken was moist. Kids food went down well. Staff were friendly and accommodating of the usual messing around with Tesco vouchers!

I love this place for their breakfast and friendly atmosphere. The servers greet you with kindness and are prompt at taking care of you. The French toast is delicious with fruit and their sides are also very good.

Had breakfast here this morning. Wonderful service from the 2 gentlemen there. Food was lovely and hot. Very clean areas and good atmosphere.

industrial mushroom soup, inedible children's menu. Everything was obviously thawed, a shame for a "restaurant". the most serious, obvious error on the invoice. It was very very difficult to get it corrected

Awful afternoon tea. Totally not worth the price of £35, doesn't taste good. Scones not warm. Other desserts doesn't taste fresh. Sandwiches awful as well. The staff just doesn't care at all. It was not busy when we came but still service is meh. Only redeeming thing is their coffee and teas. I do NOT recommend.

Location is great. Nice and quite. Vegan burgers were ok but not great. Garden salad was made if 80% green leaves, with a few tomatoes, onion, and bits of other vegetables. Vegan cheese was good. Service charge is added to the bill and is confusing since at first I thought of adding another 10%. I think we could have done better else were.

Good atmosphere, a bit noisy because of the hard floors so if it's busy you might find it hard to talk. Food very reasonably priced and good value. Only grumble is they mixed our steaks up as my partner is gluten and dairy free so we couldn't swap and had a train to catch. Waitress was brilliant too

Service was incredibly slow. Took over an hour to take our orders then our food came out before the drinks. The restaurant wasn’t that busy but seemed that only 2 servers were waiting tables. Starter was good, but not perfect. Calamari was mainly breadcrumbs and the Camembert was half solid. The mains made up for it as the chicken was lovely and tender, and the burger was delicious. Usually have good reviews of a Cafe Rouge, but unfortunately this didn’t hit the spot.

Great food and lovely staff! Absolutely loved the idea of sugar syrup for the iced coffee :)

Food was all around good with decent portion sizes, particularly for the steak sandwich. They were training new staff the evening we were in so there were some mistakes with our order however they were quickly corrected. Staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed the Stella Cidre which I had never had before.

As always a wonderful place to have lunch and spend the day. Food is excellent, service impeccable. The restaurant is just a few steps from the tower bridge and in front of a beautiful dock with an incredible view.
