The food is nice but the service was quite poor.. I can understand that this restaurant is in a busy station but they should be used to it by now.. You could see that the staff was not happy, we were brought the wrong starter and a couple of times a waitress has been quite rude in the way she gave us the food and took away the empty plates without saying a word to us. They were clearly understaffed for the number of customers and after it got quieter both people working on the front of house because much nicer and more attentive, but still, for most of the time we didn’t really feel looked after..

When I reached to the cafe in the morning, lady staff said could you please sit to the table nearby the counter as I’m working by myself and I said okay that’s fine. There were only two customers present when I arrived. I sat just in front of the counter. I ordered coffee and vegetarian breakfast. I got my coffee but I had to wait more than half an hour to get my breakfast. Nearly 45 minutes or so lady staff approached me and said sorry they completely forgot about my breakfast as like herself there is only one staff in the kitchen (but cafe was not busy at all). Anyway the joke was that the lady staff asked me if I’m still hungry???? I said I’m starving and that’s it..within 3 minutes she served me my breakfast. Extremely poor customer service. In busy time can understand but in quiet time how can you work like this. Cafe is in the great location but they need to work on staff training. Not worth spending £15.30 for this service or food quality

Visited Cafe Rouge for the first time. Booked a table for 19:00 for two a friend and I. We arrived an it was evident the venue was understaffed, almost all tables were strewn with dirty plates, glasses etc. we needed to wait and the waitress asked us to sit for a few minutes whilst they sorted tables. Another customer arrived without a booking and the other waitress sat this person ahead of us, which wasn’t particularly good, especially as a) we booked and b) were already patiently waiting to be seated. After a few mins we eventually were seated. We got served in a reasonable amount of time and you could tell the staff were a little perplexed and flustered, clearly it had already been a very busy time for them. They took our order and we were dealt with in a pleasant manner. We were served our food in a respectful and reasonable amount of time. There was nothing to rave about it was mediocre food and service. We weren’t overly impressed with the toilet adjacent to the dining area. I mean literally there are diners tables either side of a pocket sliding door. I don’t see how this is allowed under regulations, but hey I’m no expert! Overall it was ok, but I wouldn’t return or encourage others to go out of their way to visit this establishment. Shame really.

We went here for an early dinner yesterday as Victoria was convenient for everyone. The food was good, the price and choice on the three course fixed menu was great 👍 but most importantly, for me, the manager/ server Arsenijius was very clued up about food allergies and gave me a great alternative 😀 in addition his friendly style and great service was a rarity these days. Cafe Rouge should be pleased to have someone like this on their staff. If there was an award for employee of the month then I'd nominate him.

I never got to eat or drink anything as the front house staff member took a look at me and said “we’re only taking reservations.” I looked around and there were so many empty seats. So I went somewhere else to eat where I got the best experience. I passed by this Cafe Rouge later and still many tables were empty. The few customers I saw looked like travellers as they all had travel cases.

Beautiful French decor & such lovely presentation of the food. This place has become a top favourite of myself and my wife's when around London. Attention to detail and nice atmosphere felt like we was in Paris. We are usually greeted by the lovely Arsenijus that is always ever so friendly with his customers and totally professional. I totally recommand the restaurant a totally must xx

I went here on friday and had a full english breakfast. I ordered extra mushrooms with it as they're my favourite. The breakfast arrived a little later than I was expecting and the mushrooms were not seasoned at all. The rest was just an okay experience. I was also disappointed that I couldn't have a latte with my meal as the machine was not working. The atmosphere was friendly and open and the waiting staff professional.

Great food. Very nice and very well cooked. Really helpful staff and very approachable and friendly. The only issue is the decor of the restaurant is not as good as many other Cafe Rouge.

Very good quality comfort food and really well prepared. The waiter was also handling a lot of customers mainly alone at the time it was quite busy that evening. He was very professional and really helpful as I was alone and having a stressful day! In general the staff at Cafe Rouge are mostly very good and I hope that this place does not close down. Cafe rouge had always been a place for me to go to for an affordable treat for lunch or dinner mainly and I would detest for this business to close down. I was sad to see most of my favourite London Cafe Rouge's have closed. Please do try to keep this one open as it's such a convenient location even if it doesn't have a scenic view or it's not as fabulous as some of the other locations.

The mussels were small and of different colors, the sauce was runny, oversalted and, in addition, almost tasteless. the wine... it seemed that it had been opened for a long time or something, it was a little sour.

My first time going to Cafe Rouge victoria. I had a booking reservation and was stading out side, i do understand thier was one guy serving at the time of visit, i went in and asked for tea on the counter and showed them a voucher i had from Cafe Rouge meaning i was going to order food. I got moved to the drinking area as i wanted to sit inside. I had to move my own tea, milk, and sugar as other people were getting served on their table and got greeted in. All on all, the place looks amazing and clean. I gave the staff members 1 hour, 16 minutes a chance to say how my tea was, or if i was okay as it was not busy but nothing. Very Poor Service.

Don't let the location inside the shopping centre put you off. Service is friendly and personable. The waiter gave excellent recommendations. Calm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect place to share a meal with friends and catch up on latest news. Also.. , the food?!? Generous portions, full of flavours beautifully plated. Expetional value for money, too. I am not sure if it is this branch is unique or the whole brand have come back onto the London food scene with beaming vengeance. At Cafe Rouge Victoria, we were pleasantly surprised and look forward to return.

Just had a splendid meal there. Service was quick and attentive; food was exemplary. It is now my go-to for a high standard dinner whilst at Victoria station.

6 of us ate here this evening, 19th August, all starters and mains were outstanding, portion size good and all meals arrived hot. Service was very good, drinks and meals were brought to our table quickly. All in all a fantastic experience.

I been to café rouge in Victoria Station for the first time and I can say I loved it, I had an great service, I choose steak and fries for my lunch, the steak was juicy and delicious, cooked like I wanted. I ate a delicious crème brulee for dessert and was smooth and tasty. The food and service was 10/10 I can say I'm a happy customer 😊 100% recommend

Cafe Rouge was really lovely!!! I had a vegan burger and this was really delicious. The staff member were really nice and we got our taste card discount too so that was great. There were not many vegetarian option but the burger was great :)! Mock tails were great as well.

I took my parents there as part of some evening event I put together for there golden wedding anniversary. The staff were lovely, charming and gave us exceptional care throughout. The chef/s cooked the food to perfection. Both mum and I had the minestrone soup to start this was one of the best minestrone soup we have had. I had a fillet steak this was cooked perfectly for me, was exactly what I asked for i ask for meduim and got medium as the steak was well seasoned as well. Both mum and dad had fish and fries they enjoyed this. The champagne I order was very nice as well, in fact the whole meal was brilliant. I wish to thank our lovely waitress, and the whole team in making this a nice to remember. Sadly I did not take photos of the meal. Cafe rouge Victoria well done, and keep up the excellent job. I have been to other cafe rouges over the years this was my best experience to date.

Let me book a table but the restaurant was shut without warning " M1M2344638095105 Table for 2 at Cafe Rouge Victoria Place - 15/04/2022 17:00" if this was due to staff shortages...a courtesy email an hour or 2 before would've sufficed
