👍👍 A great little place. This should be taught in all schools. This museum is suitable for any ages. Very informative and educational. A great little place. This should be taught in all schools. This museum is suitable for any ages. Very informative and educational. There could be more info on menopause, black women's struggles and trans issues but it's a great start and I hope as the years go on this will expand and be a permanent fixture somewhere as its a very needed cause. Note it is very small. Only take about 30 min very tops if your read everything and look around the gift shop (which isn't cheep) none of this took away what a great place this is though. They are still requesting people wear mask.

I visited earlier today. It's a really lovely find. The muesum is free. Can purchase from the gift shop with cash or card. Was expecting to see/read on a variation of topics of the vagina not just one. Has a cafe & and toilet, ajoining to the museum. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. There is an upstairs space for events that's currently closed as I believe they want to install a lift of some sort to make it accessible for everyone.

Family friendly presentation of serious biological data, served with wit and humour. Definitely worth visiting! (Great gift shop too). It's a little hard to find but is very close to Bethnal Green tubestation: Take diagonal path through Museum Gardens. At park exit cross the road (Victoria Park Sq) and go down Sugar Loaf Walk. The museum entrance is in this alleyway on the right. Wheelchair accessible.

Such a lovely museum! The content of the exhibition was super informative, the shop was SUPER CUTE, though it was not super straightforward to find. Definitely a gem in East London. Would recommenda visit to anyone.

Not just for women. Very informative, I certainly learned a couple of things while there and it does not take too long to get round, I think I was there for less than half an hour. There is a general feel of balance about the place and I was pleased to see that they seem to fairly represent the trans and wider LGBT community. Everyone should go, especially teenagers. It's free too.

A small museum educating visitors on the history of periods, the stigma and myths associated with it, and raising awareness for gynaecology anatomy. As a child, I was raised by my dad who didn’t understand anything about periods, puberty/women changes so I would’ve loved to have been able to visit a museum like this in my pre-teens or teenage years. It’s a small studio so you can easily navigate around within 15-45mins depending on how long you want to spend in there. Pre-booking your visit might be worth a shout!

Everything was perfect. A very sweet lady greeted us at the first entrance. We observed interesting things and the souvenirs were a lot of fun. The museum is free to explore and has a separate cafeteria inside.

Its a very small museum. A second section will open in January 2024. But they have very interesting merch/gift shop items. My friends bought a bunch of stuff. A good place to get an introduction to endometriosis. Definitely try the hot chocolate.

Really pleased to hear the museum had found a new home as I never got to visit the old one! However, we were disappointed. The endometriosis exhibition was really great and informative but that was it. The cafe takes up half the space, the shop a quarter and the exhibition the other quarter. There doesn’t seem to be a museum. Hoping it thrives and grows and can build a permanent gallery.

Very small but nicely done and informative. Good gift shop. However I could not give a good review due to the use of the words "people who menstruate" instead of women. In fact I'm not sure the word woman was used anywhere in the space. For a place with such a good selection of feminist literature this is a real disappointment. I am happy to fight for the right of trans women but it is pretty misogynistic to erase the rest of us to appease them.

Extremely small "museum" not enough information and presentation as well. Better looks on web then irl. Girl on the door very unpleasant and aggressive, on the web site no information about masks and need to wear them. I am not antimask person, as I got two jabs, wearing the mask all the time, but at least I would expect from them to provide regular one, disposable not face shield, where everyone can wear if that was their requirement. Only good thing was T shirt I bought.

Insanely good exhibition! Went to Camden especially to go see the Vagina Museum and was not disappointed! With Covid-19 measures in place, you need to book online beforehand, or you can turn up and they’ll tell you when to come back around. We got told to come back within 30 minutes, which allowed us some time to wonder around Camden Market, so no time wasted! The exhibition on at the time (21-May-21 to 28-Feb-22) was about Periods: a brief history. It was insightful, interesting and entertaining all at once. I highly recommend to everyone! And once you’re done, stop by the gift shop and get yourself some feminist merch! 😎

Great little museum on Bethnal Green. Close to the station, gardens and Roman road so if you're in the area then stop by, there's no need to book in advance and it's free admission. The exhibition is informative and visual, I learnt alot. There's also a great shop inside with books, jewellery, clothing and an assortment of nick nick, crafty or gift items. The cards were my favourite. Gift the feminists in your life!

It’s an Extremely small museum with not very much in it! It looks completely different on the web then irl. Girl on the door very unpleasant and aggressive, on the web site there is no information about needing to wear masks however they do expect you to but do not offer disposable masks just the face shields , where everyone can wear if that was their requirement and unsure how thoroughly they clean these! The shop was the only decent part of the place! Getting 1 star for the cool T-shirt I bought!

Not a museum! Was excited to come here and anticipating learning some really interesting facts! But it's a very small area, with some boards up with facts on! I was expecting an exhibition of some sort! Then more annoyingly, the facts around the room were obvious and I wouldn't exactly say I'm an expert in the field, they were all common knowledge! The only thing I learnt was that some people apparently believe that coke down there could prevent pregnancy! I was shocked anybody could think that! But yeah, must have been in there max twenty mins and that was standing and reading each board! Thankfully it was free entry !

A small museum with plenty of potential! Had a great time here and learnt a lot. There is definitely room for more information which I hope will grow with time. As it currently stands, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way. I spent about 45 minutes here. A lot of love has obviously been put into the exhibits. The museum uses inclusive language and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I saw a one star review for this museum from a transphobe which definitely motivated me to go :) As of April 2022, masks are mandatory here. The museum can provide you one if you are without. Fantastic gift shop, slightly pricey, but hopefully profits go towards the staff and independent artists. If so, that justifies the costs for me.

I love the vagina museum! Very small but it had a great exhibit on endometriosis and I can’t wait to see what they put on next. Good gift shop with loads of books. The staff were super helpful and gave us recommendations on books from their shop and even other places in London to see while my friend was visiting. The cafe was cute with vagina-themed food!

Only one small exhibition at the minute but the cafe serves nice food, there are sanitary products both for menstruation and incontinence provided for free in the bathroom and the staff are wonderful. New exhibition opens in the next couple of weeks so I will update this review once I have seen it.

If you are a female, you should definitely visit this museum because there is a lot of information that is helpful. If you are a male, you will find it interesting (well, It is a museum after all). More importantly, well done to the organisers for raising awareness! (I hope you create a similar museum for men)

Should be mandatory viewing for all. Free and only takes about 15-20 minutes to make the rounds throught the exhibit, which is currently focused on menstrual history and societal views over time going back to Greece. Nicely curated gift shop with some awesome gems. If you're in Camden Market, check it out.

A very informative museum with great ideas. The space itself is not the best, but it is deffinitely worth a visit - all genders. The entrance is free, however face masks are (still) required. The shop has some fun and quircky stuff, so it’s worth to roam through it. Museum is wheelchair accessible, and the entrance is from the narrow lane - Sugar loaf walk.

This is a much, much, needed museum that will become a part of history books. Some may say its small and not interactive, but I can only see it growing with the love and dedication of the people who work there. There are a few small exhibits present, and boards across the room which share knowledge that is LGBTQ inslusive and comprehensive, which many I'm sure have missed during their RSE class. It's free entry, so give it ago, and who knows, you may learn a thing or two! P. S. It has an amazing little shop inside of it as well!

All right this place is insane! Came here with my partner did not expect to see a vagina museum! If you're ever around in London check it out! I only saw females at this location. When I left my stomach hurt like crazy! So happy to be born a man! Spending lots of time learning about the female body! Another day another adventure in London! They took are temperature at the door and also required us to wear a face mask! Just like 2020!

Free entry museum that packed with information mostly about Endometriosis. The friendly staff greeted me when I entered. It also have others information such as telling us how heavy is consider heavy when we measure our period. Those commodities are also mind-blowing designed that will definitely amazed you.

At the moment (Jan 2024) it's not really worth going out of your way to visit this museum. I hadn't realised the permanent installation wasn't yet accessible, and so was disappointed to have travelled a fair distance to find only the endometriosis exhibition, the shop and the café open. If the endometriosis exhibition is a flavour of what's to come then I have no doubts the rest of the museum is going to be absolutely excellent, and the staff seemed very lovely, but I do wish I had saved my visit for later in the year.

Nice to wander around for a quick visit (takes around 10-30 minutes to look around). Good educational displays and a well stocked gift shop. Was hoping for more visual displays of e.g. more artworks and more photos, showing a spectrum of genitalia.

Very small gallery space in Camden Market (not quite a museum yet I'm afraid) tackling a range of anatomical and sex related myths and stigmas in a welcoming, female-led environment. The concept itself is fantastic and incredibly valuable. I'd love to see it relocated to a larger site and it's collection expanded. Entry is free, it's suitable for quick visits (15-20 minutes), has a gift shop and is accessible (the market however is cobbled). There are no toilets on-site.

An absolute must-see in London, whether you have a vagina or not. Really educational and interesting and they've worked hard to ensure all guests feel safe and comfortable. The History of Periods is a fascinating visiting exhibition that I wish was a permanent part of the museum. The main exhibition was enlightening and the whole experience was really inclusive.

Very disappointing to find out that a permanent exhibition was all there was in the tiny room behind the shop as you walk in. There was a temporary exhibition in the large room. It was a history of period. How women were stigmatised and treated badly. I cannot imagine not wearing pads and underwear during a period, but women back in time didn’t have them and just wore dark or red coloured skirts.

Nice and educational place, but I wouldn't call it museum, rather a shop with small educational wall exhibition on periods. The staff is very welcoming and warm, although I was surprised we had to wear masks and get our temperature measured (this was in July 2022) - we had to go and buy masks in local Sainsbury's so don't forget to bring yours. They have cool stuff in shop and I definitely recommend this place if you're looking where to spend your time in London.
