I was taken here by my colleague. I wanted to get food from a local place as I like to explore different restaurants. I asked for recommendations & was recommended the Al Pastor & Carne Asada tacos. Was so tasty & staff were very friendly! Would come here again to try more dishes off their menu. Wasn’t expensive either.

I was really impressed with La Vida Loca. It's a restaurant/cafe that seems to focus mainly on Colombian food. I wasn't familiar with most of the food on the menu, but the friendly staff helped me make a lunch-time selection, which included a drink, a starter and a main course for £9. The starter was a delicious chicken soup, and came with a side of spicy salsa that I mixed into the dish. It was great - really warming from the chicken, with a zingy spicy quality from the salsa. The main course featured a beef and tomato stew over chips, with rice, a salad and fried plantain. The plantain was soft had an amazing caramel quality to it, and the beef and tomato stew was great too, and soaked up well with the chips and rice. The drink was a Colombian specialty apparently, and was made from lime and sugar cane. The portions were pretty large, and I couldn't believe how cheap it was. Highly recommended for anyone unfamiliar with Colombian that wants to give it a try (and for anyone else, for that matter).

Very friendly restaurant/coffee shop style. I recommend you get some Spanish lessons before reaching there as the nice lady at the counter didn’t speak English very well. As an overall I was happy when I left, eating everything, a hot beef soup that needed a pinch of salt, the chicken leg was well cooked and tasty; If you pass by, go there, all of this ONLY 9£. I recommend having a menu, in both languages, would be easier for customers.

Some of the best tacos I've had in London, very reasonably priced too. Quite an extensive menu exploring mexican food outside of tacos which is refreshing. Will be returning to try more of the delicious food. Hopefully they'll have a liquor license next time

Been trying to find the best tacos in London and this might be it. We had the chicken, beef and shrimp tacos, all fantastic. Tostadas, Elote, croquetas and quesadillas too, and their tres leche cake was great as well. Staff said they've been going for 4 months so I think this used to be a Colombian restaurant before then, but now their menu is Mexican/Spanish.
