The food here is amazing and the staff are always happy and friendly. The reason for 3 stars and not anymore is because the last few times I've gone, I've been overcharged. I've challenged them once and was refunded. It's got to a point now I find it very awkward asking them to double check the overall price infront of other customers when i know I've again been overcharged. Maybe it's time to invest in a new till that does all the calculations. I will continue to go here as the food is the best locally by a country mile. Just be sure to check the total price of your food when paying against prices shown on the wall. All the £'s add up if you're being overcharged everything.

This is no ordinary reviewer as I am super particular about my food. But I can honestly say this is remarkably good fish n chips. I highly recommend to order prepared in matzo meal. This is the authentic Jewish fried fish style and tastes on "another level". Also, lovely people work there, great service.

First time visit. Staff are very friendly and popular with the locals. I had to wait for my fish to be cooked ( not a problem). Medium fish was a very good size and had plenty of chips. I drove home and the meal was still hot. The price was more than I would normally pay but overall good value for the money. The shop was very clean and tidy. Worth a visit.

For some reason we got skinny kebab shop style chips. Very disappointed when I unwrapped them when I got home. You should tell people you're serving different chips. Chunky chips are what Fish and Chips are all about.

I usually don't enjoy fish with skin, but this particular dish was exceptional. I really liked it as it was full of flavor and had a delightful crispy texture. I highly recommend trying

Paid for a large portion of chips and got home to find a small handful of chips This is the second time this has happened and I'd recommend using someone else's chipshop unless you're happy paying £4 for half a potato

Busy local fish and chip shop. Ordered large cod, large chips, onion rings and goujons for £22. What we ordered was for two but would have been enough for three as we had chips and fish left over. The goujons and cod were enormous and the portions would have been enough for two people. All cooked to order and very fresh. Option to have matzo meal instead of batter. Noticed other menu items including burger in a bun for £1.20 or with cheese for £1.30. Also cod roe. Seemingly run by hard working people who take great pride in their food. Some seating but not an eat in place. Go there. You won't regret it!

This is truly my favourite fish and chips but I beg you to never put the fish in paper again please 😩 it arrived soggy and fell apart

Family run, best fish and chips in the area. £13.50 for a large fish and chips. And I mean large, could have split it into 2 meals. Fresh fish. Delicious

Superb fish and chips, one of the best - if not the BEST - I've encountered in North London. The people who run this centre of excellence are a delight. So very helpful and accommodating to my special requests.

Ordered a chips in pita and asked for the paid addition of cheese. Chips were soggy and cold, pitta was cut all the way through so the chips just fell straight through. Best thing about the meal was the salt. Was told she won’t put the cheese in because the owner doesn’t like it even though I was paying. English was poor and attitude stank. No tissues even though we were eating in and finally the pitta was served in paper rather than a box.

Although the rush hour becomes really busy, it's worth the wait. I love the fact that the xtra large portion of chips feeds the family! Thank you for that! Always fresh!
