This review is specifically about the Hidden London walking tour (run by the Transport Museum) of the disused tunnels underneath Euston Station. These date back to the days when the City Branch and the Charing Cross Branch of the Northern Line were entirely seperate lines run by seperate companies. As more co-opeartion developed between seperate lines interchnages were built under Euston although these have no fallen into disuse. Some of the tunnels are filled with rotting 1960s film posters. HL tours are very popular and well worth doing but you need to book fast as soon as they become available. Id highly recommend the tour - its both interesting and creepy.

Euston Train Station operates with impressive efficiency. The first floor houses restaurants, while fast-food options are available on the ground floor. Inside, a prominent main hall features a large screen displaying train information. The well-organized train tracks are situated on either side. Outside, there's ample space for taxis, dedicated bike tracks, and convenient access to the underground station, just a 5-minute walk away.

Big station but somehow they make it very cramped because there are only two obvious boards showing the train information such as platform and boarding time which means everyone has to go to the middle of the station, blocking traffic. Really inefficient system and other major train stations in London does it better than here. Gets really busy during peak times.

This station is my favourite one on trips to London. You can enjoy the food inside and also outside where benches are prepared for the passengers. Cafes are also available while waiting for the trains. This station also gives passengers the opportunity to go to the city using underground as well. Toilets are clean, and also a nice bookshop is available there.

The station needs a refurb. Quite outdated.. not modern like it’s fellow station down the road.. King’s Cross. The station has food outlets on the station concourse with a big information board in the middle to keep you informed. They don’t do announcements here. There are toilets, and quite a few seating area in the corner, but they are always full. They probably need more seating/waiting areas considering Euston is one of the busiest hubs in London. Also, close proximity to underground station. You have to get out of the rail building to access it .. just a 1 min walk. One good thing, station is heavily staffed, so you get a heightened sense of security there.

What a huge station with plenty of signboards, staff, toilets and food outlets. I had a really easy transition through the station and onto the Underground. The staff were very friendly and helpful as I needed it, ha, ha! The bought a baguette from a stall and the ladies here were also nice. Prices not too bad but I was desperate. The food was fresh and tasty. Perfect!

This is a very large station that is the station that tends to connect rail to places further up north like Manchester. There is a few places to get food at like burger king but some of the food places are expensive down to where they are and there are a few shops too. There is also the option to go down to the underground if you want to get further into London via underground train. I believe you have to pay to use the toilets here or at least you did when I visited. Some places might have changed or been removed since I was last here as it was a number of years ago now. Visited: May 2016

Massive station. Lots of building works which make it a bit chaotic. Good range of services. Plus nice touch with outdoor display screens. Pleasant in the summer. Can’t imagine there will be lots of use in January. Decent station with lots of improvements in progress.

Euston Station, located in the London Borough of Camden, is one of the major railway stations in London, serving as a key hub for trains heading towards the Midlands, North West England, North Wales, and parts of Scotland. As the southern terminus of the West Coast Main Line, it provides vital links to major cities such as Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, and Glasgow. Opened in 1837, Euston is one of the oldest railway stations in London. Over the years, it has undergone significant changes, including a complete rebuild in the 1960s, which resulted in the modernist structure seen today. This redevelopment was met with both praise for its functionality and criticism for its architectural style, as well as the loss of the original grand Victorian building. The station is well-equipped with a range of facilities for travelers, including shops, cafés, and waiting areas. Euston is also well connected to London's public transport network, with Euston Underground Station providing access to the Northern and Victoria lines, making it a convenient point for commuters and travelers to access other parts of London and beyond.

Euston feels like a place which should have had much more investment over the years given how busy it is and the major cities of both the North and Midlands that it serves. It is functional and has the expected eateries for a quick bite. It also has an underground station to link with the Tube network across London.

This is a nice train station. I departed here on an Avanti train to Birmingham from here and was satisfied with my experience. This is a large station with services to the Midlands, North, and Scotland, and it’s also connected to the Circle, Metropolitan, Northern, Victoria, Overground, and Hammersmith and City lines. The underground entrance is a minute walk away from the station. When I was here this station was very busy but still easy to navigate. There are many places to get food here, and the platforms are easy to find. Avanti trains have employees scanning peoples’ tickets before they enter the platform. I gave this train station five stars because it’s clean, has multiple food options, and it’s easy to navigate.

The train station is busy, with a lot of people, and the trains are usually punctual. Convenient access to London city makes it a hassle-free journey.

Genuinely probably the most incompetent staff at any station I’ve ever been to literally had the right ticket to get let in and the man just didn’t let me on my train. All the shops were outrageously expensive and with there being nothing else around its the only option that I had. Genuinely the most poorly ran place I have ever been to

London Euston Station has undergone a impressive transformation. The works have not completely finished. Outside the main entrance is an open air area where you can enjoy lunch from the various vendors or shops such as Itsu, Nandos etc. There are street entertainers, live bands and some really great singers that make you feel you're attending an open air concert. The Station itself is clean and welcoming with ample staff to assist you. There are the usual concession stores inside, and public toilets. All signposts are clearly marked and visible making it easy to navigate. The transport links from Euston is excellent. It is a busy mainline station, so you can expect a little hustle & bustle. Overall a fantastic experience especially with the street entertainment.

Gateway to many of the cities in the UK. Multiple platforms with the arrival and departure of coaches, trains now and then. Lots of well known cafés, bakery and restaurants located inside the station. Always get your train tickets in advance to avoid high price on same-day journey.

One of the main train stations in London. Quite busy, separated entrance to the tube station, a lot of construction works around. In the future, this will be a start station for high speed train connecting North of England with London.

So much building works being done in the area for HS2 but I still wish they'd pull down the main building as it really is past it's still by date. The main waiting area isn't big enough, the ramps to the platforms are too steep for disabled people and the platforms are dirty and dimly lit. On the plus sides there are lots of good food options around and a wide choice. Sure there's still the fast food stuff but also done decent other shops.

While Euston maybe not be anyone's favourite railway station it still at the least functions efficiently and works as it should. It is fairly obvious the structure was built during the modern brutalist era of the 60's and is in need of being rebuilt. I don't mind traversing this station, I look forward to when it's at least remodeled and extinction rebellion have been permanently evicted.

Decent train station, maybe looking a little tired now.

Getting a bit dated now. Possibly awaiting the HSS link to B'ham. Paradoxically because no one has 'improved' it: it's actually easier to use than some updated stations. As a station it works well. The surrounding facilities are by today's standards looking pretty basic, it does what it needs to do, but definitely not somewhere you'd want to spend time in.

Beautiful large station with about 15 platforms. Super easy to use as most of the platforms are already in front of you. Once you get to the ticket hall on your platform, you see a wide platform where people can easily wait for their train comfortably. Good amount of food outlets and nearby the tube.

Nicely refurbished. A lot more areas to sit down and wait for a train. Easy access from the main line station to the tube station. Got a free drink here on the forecourt and it tastes delicious! A little known fact is that Euston station was the capital's first mainline station and the first to connect London with another city.

Euston is as busy as you would expect, but we'll run and organized. Plenty of Food & drink outlets which we took with us onto the train. The trains to the North have around 15minutes boarding time,we had allocated seats which we moved from as they were very tight with no window view!! The train itself was busier than normal as flooding due to bad weather meant most seats were taken. Above the seats there are signs informing you where the seat is reserved from, but passengers tended to sit anywhere as many were not on their allocated train journey. Loved the 7 hour journey from Euston station a great way to appreciate the UK countryside whilst drinking coffee and eating snacks Thanks Avanti West Coast for a smooth relaxing journey

Grim, often cold soulless place, more like a dated airport terminal. Bland chain catering and a concourse arrangement that leads to a mad stampede once platforms are announced. Surrounded by desolate white elephant building site, with much of the local area flattened to make way for a new HS2 station that might never be built.

I know it's still in the process of being redeveloped but this is easily the worst station in London. 1960s developers knocked down the old station and built a modern monstrosity, lacking in any character - unlike other London stations which have retained their original features. The one redeeming feature here is the helpfulness of the staff who are mostly delightful and always on hand, ready to offer advice. Let's hope the redevelopment gives the station some attractive architectural welcome in the future. The path to the North West deserves better.

It works as a railway terminus but it is rather bland. When you are on the platforms, it's like being in the backstage part of a supermarket where only the staff are allowed - bare, half painted concrete walls and overhead ducting. Did British Rail actually hire an architect when this station was rebuilt in the sixties???

Our train was due to depart at 12:40 from Euston to Birmingham new street. We got to the station pretty early and waited for the platform information to update. The information didn't update until 12:48 via an announcement that wasn't loud or clear enough. We had two minutes to run to platform 12 with our luggage. The app didn't update, so we were literally running blind. Bare in mind we had been standing for about an hour already. Once we managed to get on, we were squeezing, past people to get to our reserved seats. Took about 5 minutes of squeezing before it was announced that there are no reserved seats anymore. So now we are sitting on the floor of the train and will be for about 2 hours all because the announcements came too late. We walked past at least 3 double seats before we were told the reservations had been removed. At this point, seats were all filled up. If we hadn't run to the platform, we would've missed a train that we cane an hour early for. This is unacceptable service, and my back is in agony as I type this. Disgraceful service. Do better.

THE REAL EUSTON STATION NIGHTMARE. Be warned people from around the world 🌎.. The station staff on the concorce are the rudest, nastiest bunch of A holes on the planet...You would think they are their to help people...NOPE!! Even asking a simple question as to were to go..(basically help) all you get is attitude..and and answer llike "Go look at the board".. THAT'S WHY THE CONCORCE STAFF DON,T WEAR NAME BADGES, TO MAKE IT HARDER FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO MAKE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM. BE WARNED!!!

The station is one of the terminals in London. The facilities are quite classic and seems remained unchanged since around 2000

Very busy as expected! There were a good range of shops and places to grab a quick bite however we could only find one toilet which had a ridiculously massive queue meaning we had to go out of the station to find somewhere else to use. Not great if you've had a long journey with kids in tow. The signage could of been more prominent to help direct you where you need to be however overall the place was clean and serves it's purpose.

Met an amazing lady today at Euston station named Barbara. Barbara was extremely helpful and patient. Barbara advised us the cheapest option for children was a day saver for £7.20 rather than single ticket which we almost purchased for £3.10 as the children can go on buses and trains all day for this amount. With 5 children in tow that was a big saving. And she helped my daughter with her 16-25 railcard. Thanks Barbara you are an asset to your company for your excellent customer service skills and should be rewarded for your kindness, and the hard work you do.

The members of staff are supportive and they are all really polite. They delayed the train to find our missing children and were supportive all the way, waiting for them to be found. I really appreciate it and their great service.

Suitable for disabled. But platforms are not clean. Old. Rain is flowing inside from the roof. Construction in progress. Outside of platforms, there are coffee shops, food terrace. Connection routes with the underground is confusing.

Dirty, overcrowded with disgusting toilets and nowhere to sit when waiting. Trains are often cancelled or delayed with very little notice, leading to further overcrowding. Not sure why Euston is so poorly run in comparison to other large London stations such as King's Cross or Paddington that are actually nice places to be with decent facilities and chairs to sit on. Get a grip Avanti West Coast.
