Peaceful and tranquil. Very Zen. Stunning views in Spring and Summer, but imposing in autumn and winter. ❤️

Dollis Valley Greenwalk is a great place to explore and experience nature at its best. The beauty of the area is remarkable and the trails are perfect for taking leisurely walks. The variety of birds, wildlife, and botanical species that can be observed is simply amazing. The Folly and Dollis Brooks merge forming the “Riverside” segment heading southwards ( for an hour ) an introductory walk along the linked public spaces that comprises the “Greenwalk.” A pleasant highlight and justifiably recommended: mostly a narrow corridor following the meandering brook over level surfaces and gentle contours. The entire 10 Miles varies tremendously in interest and diversity, with segments nondescript and effortlessly unmemorable.

Beautiful lockdown walk. So much nature to see. Herons, nesting swans, ducks and ducklings. Beautiful trees, wild garlic and wild flowers. So peaceful too

My favourite dog walking place, but it needs more bins along the way in particular the entrance near Gordon Road.

Pleasant stretch of woodland and parks for a walk or run. Dotted with a few children's playgrounds. Local groups work with our councillors to keep up maintenance.

A trail that follows a long stream from Hampstead Heath to Barnet, which winds its way though many small woods & parks not to mention a large golf course and a nature reserve. Easily accessible, which means it tends to be busier at the weekends, but you can always find secluded spots.
