I have had the opportunity to visit several of these chain restaurant. However, the the food offering here was very limited, in comparison to the other venues. Another disappointment was that there were no refill drinks, which we had to purchase separately at an additional cost turned out to be an expensive meal. On a positive note the staff was really helpful. I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

My children very much coming for lunch here, they like to choose their own food! Lunch buffet price isn't too bad. Service: You pay and then get seated Most staff will take your empty plate away as soon done. Apart from that not too much conversation or pleasantries! Food: I went at 12.30 pm for lunch so the food was fresh and being topped up, they have however cut back on a few dishes and added some eg. Chips and wedges ( better to have one) Salt n pepper prawn was replaced with prawn toast ( am sure they used to have both at one point) Many give this place a low rating in general, perhaps adding a few different varieties also add the cake/ desserts back at lunch please. I'll be back soon with the family ( if I can afford it!)

I was recommended this place by a friend and I am really glad I went. I have been to Buffets before but this one is by far the best i have ever been to. I had made a booking however the staff was friendly and helpful enough to allow me in early after travelling there a little to early, I was seated instantly and was able to go and order a drink, the only downside was there was only one till and server at the bar so that took a bit of time. When you arrive you will be asked to pay and will be given a ticket to allow you to be seated, I guess that is to ensure that no one runs from the bill which is fine with me. The selection of foods was great, lots of Asian and Indian foods and not to mention the great selection of cheese cakes, fruits and ice cream for deserts all included in the price. As soon as you have finished a plate the staff is quick to collect empty plates and then carry on getting more food. The buffet is never empty they have staff constantly ensuring the food is topped up. I will definitely be going back to JRC in other locations in the UK.

So delicious, will definitely come back! Even though I was there for lunch, there were many options to choose from, such as three different curries and three types of noodles. The food was hot and fresh, and the staff members would go around stirring the dishes to ensure they were being kept warm. Also, the chicken dishes were all so juicy and tender, I can’t wait to eat here again :)

Flies everywhere, cold food and general bad service will be requesting a refund from head office. I would have paid £50 if the food was good but it was soo bad. Quality has gone downhill I wouldn’t advise to go there unless you want food poisoning

Went for a work dinner the food and staff were great! So many dishes to choose from, Chinese, Indian, Thai, sushi etc. , only didn't give 5stars as the toilets weren't great, and there where alot of screaming children, I know that's not the restaurant's fault but after 10 minutes of trying to hear people next to u talk and u can't because of the screaming gets annoying lol but it didn't ruin the experience we had a lovely time💋

**A shocking experience @ JRC Global Buffet in Wood Green** My recent visit to JRC Global Buffet in Wood Green left me shocked and deeply disappointed. Having been a loyal customer for nine years, this visit was marred by an appalling encounter with the assistant manager that tarnished the reputation of what was once a favorite dining spot. Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere was uncomfortably warm, as the air conditioning had been turned off after a mere 10 to 15 minutes. Considering that it was a live kitchen environment and half an hour before closing time, this decision was perplexing and made our dining experience unbearable. Our ordeal began when we politely asked for some food items. Instead of addressing our request professionally, the assistant manager approached us with arrogance and abusive behavior. His demeanor was utterly shocking, especially in front of our families and friends, including children. What was most distressing was the racial abuse that followed. We were subjected to humiliating comments, including an incredulous remark that we should buy the restaurant if we wanted a good service, as though requesting a buffet item was an unreasonable demand. The behavior continued unchecked, and even the staff seemed uncomfortable with the assistant manager's actions. It reached a point where he nearly collided with me while I was carrying food to our table, showing no remorse or offering an apology. This experience was not only deeply upsetting but also an utter shock, considering our long history of patronage at JRC Global Buffet. It pains me to say that this visit was a far cry from the welcoming and enjoyable experiences we had in the past. In conclusion, my recent visit to JRC Global Buffet in Wood Green was marred by the reprehensible behavior of the assistant manager, which culminated in racial abuse and an overall humiliating experience. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in the quality of service and professionalism in a place where I once cherished dining. This incident left me contemplating whether I should ever return, which is a stark departure from the years of loyalty I've shown to this establishment.

I had staff Christmas lunch with my colleagues and we had a great time. Food was good, loads to chose from, staff welcoming and the atmosphere was serene. Drinks are sold separately

Food was absolutely horrible, greasy full of sugar and salt. The worst Indian food ever. The rest had no flavour most of things tasted old a specially the fried stuff. And desserts are just not edible ! Pictures of ice cream added as example. For 2 ppl £60 Avoid at any cost - location Watford

Absolutely abysmal experience. Avoid this place like the plague. First of all we went in expecting to pay £12 per person as was heavily advertised in the front windows. Apparently somewhere it said it’s actually double that in the evening but was not clearly advertised at all! Next paying £21 each we were expecting exceptional food but instead received some of the most bland, disgusting, putrid inedible food we have ever had. Everything was burnt and tough. All meals very bland. No flavour at all. Then was told at £21 we didn’t even get a single drink included and had to go up and pay once again for drinks at a bar. We chose not too and was given tap water. Hygiene terrible. Food exposed around people touching without Tongs, coughing around it etc. sweetcorn soup absolutely disgusting. No sweetcorn in it at all. Tasted like dish water. Then we went to the dessert section and found ice cream exposed and melting, food being picked up by hand. And products with nuts right next to those without. With the same implements being used to pickup both. Our friend who has a severe nut allergy requested a clean pair of tongs to pick up the non nut cakes and had the request rudely denied. Instead they half heartedly wiped the nut tainted tongs with a towel and gave them back to him. Staff extremely unpleasant throughout. Disrespectful. No apologies. Felt laughed at. Refused any kind of compensation. Another very rude customer complained about us just for standing up for ourself and She was offered a partial refund even though she had no issues but with all our problems we were denied one penny back. Will be making a formal complaint!!!!!

Went there with my wife and kids. Worst food I’ve ever had. Honestly it was terrible. My wife’s pregnant and you could see that from a mile away. Now you can understand when dealing with 2 other babies who are 2 & 4 it can get a little hectic especially when it had been our first time at this Resturant so we didn’t know our way round ! Now I totally understand what self service means but my wife only asked if she could get a spoon and the waiter pointed out where she could get it from. All I said was it would have been nice for the waiter to just assist on this occasion but the manager who I believe is the owner rudely interrupted and said this is a self service buffet you have to get everything your self. It’s the same manager or owner who’s been rude and arrogant to all the bad reviews on these posts!!! He clearly doesn’t know how to treat his customers! He doesn’t know how to speak to people! I said you can clearly see she’s pregnant and it wouldn’t have hurt anyone to help her out while I was dealing with my other child. That really upset me. The way he spoke back was totally rude and wasn’t a friendly at all. As for the food, it was terrible. Tasteless with no flavour what so ever. Felt like eating chicken in water!I won’t be back ever! Staff are only there to clear plates. If someone wants a napkin ud be asked to go get it your self by the owner. Shambles ! Not worth the money either!

The food that was there was tasty however it is by no means a global buffet the only food that was available were Asian cuisines mainly Indian and Chinese. The only other foods were a sea of brown fried foods like chicken nuggets and chips all of which you would be better off getting at home. Deserts consisted of canned fruit and a limited range of ice creams again all stuff that would be better at home. I definitely will not be returning.

Very good value for money. Lots of dishes to choose from. With only 24£ you can eat as much as you want for 2hrs. I was about to explode after 1 hr. Highly recommended

The staff and the restaurant ambiance was top notch. In terms of food, I would say their Wembley branch was much better and had much more variations. For example: BBQ lamb shank was not available here which was the best food in Wembley JRC.

WORST SERVICE AND HYGIENE WHILE QUALITY OF FOOD EXPERIENCED I am writing this review with deep disappointment after visiting the restaurant to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. Despite reading mixed reviews, we decided to give it a try due to claims of new management. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an odd sight – a security guard at the door and a door with smashed-in glass. Our party included over 30 people, including children. When settling the bill, we were informed that my 12-year-old niece had to pay the adult price of £26. This was surprising, as there was no indication on the website about such a requirement. Upon discussing this with the cashier, we were met with rudeness, and the manager joined in, insisting it was because of our niece's height. Attempting to reason with the manager was futile as they dismissed our concerns and even suggested she could be 18 based on appearance alone. It was disheartening to experience such unprofessionalism on my mum's special day, especially considering the manager's history of rudeness, as I later discovered. To make matters worse, the staff handling food were not wearing hair nets, raising concerns about hygiene standards. The security guard's inappropriate comment only added to the overall negative experience. It's disappointing when a celebration turns into a regrettable encounter due to poor management and service.

Me and my dad came here, the person at the front door was perfect he was such a nice man so welcoming and happy, he let us go in and have a look around to see if we wanted to stay, we stayed due to his service skills. The woman on reception was very nice and said I get to eat for free and only my dad had to pay🥳🥳 The inside was a bit dark for me and there kids selection of drinks was not that grate. Some of the people that was cooking the food didn’t seem to happy but after my dad gave them a tip they cheered up. Food was fine a bit messy and rushed I ended up just having some chips the lamb was very chewy it thought I was going to blow a bubble. They had a big selection of food I just didn’t feel like selecting anything. Sometimes the wrong people in your business can give costumers the wrong impression of what you business stands for. The sweet section was a mess which put me off trying anything as kids were just using there hand to grab stuff As my dad says don’t take it personal, it just business Thanks you for your time Will be back to say hi to the guy at the front door

Love it here. Food cooked is always delicious, wide variety of food and the station that cooks it infront of you tastes great. Never really had to queue up to get a table. Staff are really attentive - you finish your plate and within 2 minutes they have taken the dirty plate. Staff are friendly and willing to help. I've been here for a big group birthday and also as a couple so they do cater for whatever size. Highly recommend.

My second visit, really nice place. Good food, good atmosphere, ate plenty, loved the prawns, rice, beef, dessert...mall parking, felt safe, paid less than £3 for 2hrs which is quite cheap. Will surely visit again from Luton.

A great place to meet and eat. There is a wide selection of dishes on offer from traditional Chinese to Indian and freshly prepared food. There is also a variety where you can order drinks including soft drinks and even jasmine tea. The staff are very friendly and the boss is accommodating. The real draw back is the price. Its very expensive. Eating out isn't cheap but this buffet seems inordinately steep.

Disappointing experience at JRC Global. The food quality was subpar, and the plates were extremely dirty, with bits of food not properly washed off from the dishwasher. While there was plenty of food choices, the overall quality left much to be desired.

I went with my friend today and from the website it advertised “global food”, so I was expecting variety of atleast 3 different cuisines. When we arrived and paid before hand it was just Chinese and Indian food. I reluctantly picked one plate of food and had a couple bites, it was all dry, greasy and over salted. I then proceeded to speak to the manager about getting a refund and he started to treat me with such hostility even though I hardly ate my first plate. Terrible customer service and false advertising will not be dining again.
