The playrooms are at 2 levels and a small playground at the back garden. Really liked the playrooms set-up, plus they have costumes for kids to dress up as animals and continue playing which adds to the fun. However, the 100 story hotel exhibit was underwhelming for my 2.10 yr old (maybe older kids will enjoy it better), space was smaller than expected and not much to do. You have to pay for child+ adults which makes it expensive for regular visits, hence the 4 star.

We had such a lovely time here. My daughter is almost 6 years old and I think older children might find it not that interesting anymore but for her it was the perfect place. It is a carefully crafted indoor & outdoor playground with focus on imagination and story telling. Throughout the day there will be story times where employees will tell stories to the kids. You can also book extra sessions which we did with „waiting for Goliath“ which was a cute little play with interactive parts. Though it is aimed at children between 0-3 we still enjoyed it very much. There is a little cafe but you can also leave the Centre and come back in again. We went on a weekday and therefore our session was for the full day. We started in the morning and stayed until they closed at 5 because my daughter didn’t want to leave.

I've been bringing my 7-year old here since he was a baby, and it's hands down one of the best spots for kids in London. The indoor spaces are like a dream come true for kids, and the playground is fantastic. They offer unique and immersive experiences that kids absolutely adore. A solid 10 out of 10 – don't miss it!

Grear place for children with their parents. The stories are amazing and catch the attention of the little one. Then you have plenty of time to play in the different rooms and in the garden. Have fun!!

Such a magical place to take little ones. Fantastic outside play area as well as all the brilliant indoor spaces. Would recommend taking lunch and eating it outside in the garden or cafe space at the top of the building. The cafe is great but limited in terms of fresh food (cheese sandwich was all that was on offer) though there are lots of packaged snacks (popcorn, olives, sultanas, etc) and tea/coffee available for purchase. Fantastic day out. Lovely staff.

Great place enjoyed very much with our little one. Lots to do and keep them and you entertained. You can draw make spoon people and dress up. Good indoor and outdoor activities with a friendly staff Gift shop at the end of the day could stock more stuff for nursery aged children but, the lockers and facilities are very good disability friendly with lifts slopes and automatic doors.

We had a great family fun day with so much to do and play it was talked about. As per website we booked a session- went for the morning as wanted to partake in the Box Rocket workshop too. Arrived for the 10am start and was ushered to the basement for the start. It was some fun with words and actions then some time spent exploring Planet Nan with some activities including dress up, clearing up the beach, playing some bubble fun etc. after this we decided to get crafting decorating some wooden spoons and completing some paper crafts/ colouring exercises. Lots to explore in the building both down and upstairs not to mention the big outside play area too. We had lunch in the cafe, were allowed to eat our packed lunch there (we asked and they seemed friendly). Great toilet facilities and back for more fun and play outside - plenty of theme around The Storm Whale story as celebrating 10th year anniversary. Ended the day having a browse at the bookstore.

This is a magical place for children. My kids had such a good time. There is indoor and outdoor space. The indoor space has two or three levels, all designed with various interesting features, a rocket where kids can fiddle, musical den which play tunes when kids run in there etc etc. There are some fancy costumes kids would enjoy, zebra, lion, crocodile, ladybird...a slide and climbing frames. The outdoor has playground with thoughtfully designed play house, slides, climbing frames. One story was read in the outdoor and one in the indoor environment. Would recommend

This place is the best for kids, very creative rooms and super friendly staff. The story telling guy was so good at getting all the kids interactive with the story. The place is just very cute and curated, and our 5 year old girl just loved it.

My 3-year-old really loved this enchanting, story-themed play space. We enjoyed pretending to save a planet at the Dapo Adeola exhibition (small additional fee) and making characters from wooden spoons, pipe cleaners, and other craft supplies. The outdoor space is lots of fun but it was sadly too wet for the slide. I appreciated the inclusion of an extra changing table outside the main baby change cubicle when this was occupied and my baby needed an emergency change! The café was busy but we got a table. My only difficulty was determined how to dispose of a leftover drink to utilise the recycling system. This is a lovely place for kids and well worth a season ticket if you are local enough to visit regularly.

This place needs more love from the community. Everyone should know about it! It is a gem in London! If you have kids you must go, at least once. The place is just less than 5 mins walking from the Stratford station- old shopping center exit. Inside it has so many different corners, than no kids can stay bored! There is fun for every little one. I love the effort they created to help kids to love stories and books!

Excellent place to have a good time with small children. Good indoors and outdoors area. In the Basement area is the 101 stories hotel who recreates a hotel with differents rooms with role play. Ground floor and first floor is a magic place to play plus a big playground

An incredible find so close to us in London. A beautiful indoor play area for my 1 year old son who absolutely loved his visit. The 100 Story Hotel exhibition/installation in the basement is just incredible. Such good value for money too, as there is loads to explore for him. The perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon.

This place is so great! The space for playing is incredible, with enough places for the children to run around, explore and make arts and craft. The outdoor space is also lovely and encourages kids to meet each other and make connections. I went to 3 storytelling sessions and they were also all great, especially the Not Yet a Yeti, very inclusive and celebratory of differences. Very impressive! I'll become a regular with my 4-year-old.

Amazing experience. Worth every penny. Closed playground means the kids can move around freely and safely, so many things to play with. Staff are wonderful!

We had a lovely day at Discover. The immersive exhibition was brilliant and the kids loved playing in the garden, story playrooms and enjoyed completing The Storm Whale Trail. Was great to have a relaxing coffee in the sun whilst the kids (7 & 5) played safely in the garden).

During half term, this is the best place to come. Very interactive for both children and adults. Children will definitely not be bored! There are at least 4 different areas to explore and my favourite was by far the rocket room.

Really great concept and the outdoor playground has been updated. My daughter enjoyed it. The staff doing the stories and free stories are engaging and fun. Unfortunately the place needs some TLC, the taps in the downstairs toilet pour water over the counter and everything is a bit grubby. They could have done with a member of staff doing a tidy up throughout the day.

Great indoor and outdoor playground. Kids had a lot of fun. You pay the entry fee and stay all day if you want. There are extra interactive activities which are better to book ahead as they are very popular - for extra fee. There is an indoor and outdoor cafe. I gave 4 stars as I can't decide if wearing shoes is a problem as we are so used to removing shoes when doing indoor activities.

Great place for kids of all ages! My two loved every minute of it. For the price it’s a great day out. Lots of fun activities and plenty to do. The outdoor area is nice too. All in all worth going.

It was lovely. My daughter enjoyed it. She is 14 months old. Lots of things to explore. She wasn't sure at first, but after she accommodate with the environment she loved exploring. I also recommend the 100 story hotel activity. Lots to explore there too. 🥰 It was busier in the first part of the day but it didn't bother us. We went on a Tuesday.

A great place to take your kids! I took my daughter when she was 1 and she absolutely loved it. My daughter is now 2 and I want to take her there again. Full of a variety of different sensory activities and storytelling sessions that change throughout! They also have a outdoor area which the kids always seem to enjoy.

What an amazing place. I took my 3 year old granddaughter, who just loved it. It is so hands on, with light and sounds all around. Things to climb and slide down. We did the storytelling, which was amazing. Ray who led the session was great with the kids. It was lively and interactive, there were only 6 children and their adult - so it felt very cozy. The Hundred Story house is fantastic, allowing children to role play, dress up and to enjoy their time. The sessions are a really good length, and the children stay engaged.

The area is much smaller than expected. For our 20 months old, it is a good area to run, walk around and explore. I think it is a good place to spend a couple of hours with kids but not as amazing as I thought it would be. For some reasons, I thought there will be some staff initiated activities, but there was nothing like this as such on the day we visited.

Had a wonderful session here with my 3 year old. It is easy to find and quick to reach from the train station. The session length was just right to explore all the parts and we were able to move around easily without queueing or it being too crowded. Staff were all lovely and helpful and the Fairytale land was definately worth the extra cost. A super activity!

better for younger kids I'd say 7years and younger. cafe had no hot food at 12.30 which was crazy and average snacks. need better food for kids. the story area could be improved. fairy tales was good. not as imaginative as I'd hoped it is more of a soft play area rather than stimulating imagination. more staff helping with this could improve things

We have been here so many times. Perfect for children under 12. Our three love the exhibitions, and the awesome play spaces dedicated to furling imaginative play. It is a great centre in Stratford close to the Olympic park and excellent Tumbling Bay play area, and largest tunnel slide.

Fairy tale room and garden has good interactive equipment but that's all. Toilets and changing area for children needs to be cleaned more regularly. Not suitable for children under 18months as they cannot access most of the equipment. Also got told the wrong time to attend our story time session so we missed it. It should close at 5pm but we were told to leave by 3pm (unexpected exit meant we felt rushed out). Cheap but not going again.

Plenty for the young ones to see and explore. A good day out which did not disappoint. Good cafe to pick up a drink or coffee and great outdoor area to feed the little ones - bring own food though.

Great place to visit with kids. I went with my six year old and she loved it, especially the Box Rocket event that we booked separately. Lots of things to do in the other spaces too!

  • 5/5 Rachel B. 2 years ago on Google
My kids loved this centre. You get two hours to explore-for the 9yo this was enough but for the 7,4 and 1 yo they could have stayed longer. We started in the fairytale land; a large area spilt into different fairytale places where kids can create their own stories through play. We then visited the other floors more general in there story set up (dragon lairs, mountains, caves, boats etc) Again the kids can play, create, run, jump whatever takes there fancy and the environment helps to them to form ideas for play and story making!! What a great idea!

  • 5/5 Abeda S. 2 years ago on Google
Kids loved it. The whole thing is designed for learning play area. They had little drawing and writing areas scattered in each corner. They had shelves with books, they had a person reading in a corner...and much more. Staff extremely friendly. Would definitely go again

Our first visit to the new garden was an absolute hit! It's great fun and very secure. Staff were really lovely too!
