The park which is located on top of a hill. Once you reached there, you can enjoy the immense beauty of landscape view from the park. When I cycle I really enjoyed the uphill path to the park. People are choosing this spot for tennis, joging and casual walk. There is two different play area for kids. One at the bottom and one at the top. There is a wonderful pond and seatings arranged around it is so good. This is a must visit park. I love the view from the park, beautiful canal and boats are the highlights ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

I visited here in April 2022 as part of walking the Capital Ring route. This is a nice park with a lake and a hill with good views.

We visited here for the first time on a weekend at the start of July. The weather was great, just a little overcast to offset the sun, soft breeze. The park is great, well looked-after with plenty of old trees interspersed with new ones ready to take their place. The benches surrounded by hedges were cool, we sat there for a bit and enjoyed the view. It was our first time really being on a hill since coming to London. We enjoyed the small rose gardens and the little pond area with its waterfowl and fountain. Will likely return for another walk around in the future, it's well-connected to nearby parks so you can spend plenty of time here.

Lovely park with a beautiful lake, incredible views over the River Lea and Walthamstow Marshes, tennis courts, playground, cafe, community vegetable garden and more. Not to crowded and plenty of open space to wander or run. Beautiful.

Bit of a late review as itโ€™s no longer summer but this is one of my favourite parks to go to and relax if Iโ€™m blue. I never took any notice of whatโ€™s in the park but discovered it through doing a foraging tour with John the poacher through Instagram. Anyway itโ€™s become one of my favourite parks that I regular visit. I like to sit on the top of the hill overlooking the tennis courts and look at the skyline of London. Also if you look closely enough there is some interested plant life and animals.

Springfield Park is a hidden gem located in the heart of London. As soon as you step foot into the park, you are transported into a peaceful and serene oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the things that sets Springfield Park apart from other parks in London is its stunning views. From the top of the hill, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the River Lea and the city skyline, making it the perfect spot for a picnic or a peaceful afternoon stroll. The park is also home to a range of facilities and amenities to suit all ages and interests. Children will love the playground and the splash pool, while adults can take advantage of the park's tennis and basketball courts. There is also a large open space for picnics and games, as well as a pond where visitors can spot a variety of wildlife.

Great place to moor up for a while. I can cycle North to the family or South West into town easily. The river is peaceful here too, check out the moon! 28/2/22 Update, back again, I stopped at the marina for coal and diesel then saw a lovely spot against the park. That'll do nicely for a couple of weeks.

I recently visited Springfield Park and had a wonderful experience. The park is easily accessible and well-marked on Google Maps. Once inside, I was blown away by the natural beauty and well-maintained grounds. There are many activities to do in the park, including walking, jogging, playing sports, and having a picnic. The paths are well-paved and there are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. The park also has several amenities, such as a playground, a pond, and a cafรฉ. The pond is especially beautiful and provides a tranquil setting for relaxation. Overall, I highly recommend Springfield Park to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful outdoor experience. It's definitely worth a visit!

I had many a lovely walk around Springfield Park when I lived in the area. Springfield Park is a popular green space located in the London Borough of Hackney. The park covers approximately 14 hectares and offers stunning views of the River Lea and the surrounding areas. One of the park's main attractions is the Springfield Park Cafรฉ, which serves a variety of food and drinks. There are also several picnic areas and playgrounds for children. Sports enthusiasts will also appreciate the park's facilities, which include a football pitch, tennis courts, and a basketball court. Additionally, the park has a small lake that provides a peaceful spot for fishing and birdwatching.

I am a resident very near the park. I am privileged to this location, there are tennis ๐ŸŽพ courts and children's play area. There is also a cafe on the river side and behind that is a football pitch. I must say that it is wonderful to see such views along the river lea when I take my brisk walks.I also love to see the boat houses, and the train running across.

Pleasantly a nice park and large one too. It is also hilly. It has a tennis court and , children play area. There is a marsh area to walk around next to the park and that is really worth walking around. The pictures are from the marsh area.

This park is a gem! Stunning views across the river Lea, towards Stratford, a long vista with lots to muse on. The park starts at the top of the hill and has the original house, now a cafe with good food choices including vegan, and gluten free bread. There is a lovely pond with a circular fountain in the middle, a small pebble beach for wading birds and plenty of wildlife to observe. Then the paths lead down and around the three estates which were joined together to form the park. Lots of amazing trees, shrubs and wild brambles, we ate our way along one long stretch and still had enough to take home for blackberry and apple pie! The yew hedges with inset benches are a clever feature that also look architectural in a rural setting. Must mention the amazing toilets too, brand new, fully accessible, spotlessly clean and light and airy. Full marks for whoever keeps them that way. โญ The whole park is clean and tidy, not one piece of litter visible, that speaks volumes about the care and attention taken to provide people with somewhere relaxing to go. Absolutely lovely place to chill out and enjoy a bit of greenery and almost wilderness. ๐Ÿ†

One of my favourite parks in London. Less crowded than others, with beautiful essences growing and so many birds hanging out (there's an ornithologic reserve in the wetlands nearby).

This park is a favourite spot for my family. It's a beautiful green space for bike riding, exercising, playing ball games and flying kites. There are tennis courts and on Sundays you can watch the cricket players on the green if you're interested. It's a good spot for picnics and has a lovely pond with ducks and fish. It has a small kids play area with monkey bars a small slide in sand, sand pit and swings. Its currently undergoing renovations which I hope will further improve this space.

This place must be one of the most hidden and underestimated places in London. Hackney likes to hide its gems away from its resident leaving just only a select few to know and enjoy this beautiful peaceful area.

A very open park, with a pond at the top, then steeply tumbling down the hill towards the River Lea navigation. You can cross to Walthamstow marshes on the far corner to the left, looking down the hill. Great views from the top.

Park from my childhood onto of walthamstow marshes and the river lea Lovely place to go chill and read a book or take the kids and have some fun

Easily accessible for people living in Clapton and a jog away for those in Hackney (but I'd recommend Victoria park for you lot). The park is spread out in different levels of elevation attracting a wide variety of active crowds as well as to relax and walk your dogs. There's a small lake which adds to the cool atmosphere and spacious and dedicated courts for tennis, football etc.

Really lovely - our local park, upper playground is for mostly for younger kids, lower one is bigger and has swings, sandpit, climbing frame, slide and see-saws. There is a lovely newly re-opened cafe near the upper playground. Recommend!

This is a first class wee park with tennis courts, a childrens sandy play area, a cricket wicket, a pond with a fountain, bandstands, *two* cafes and loads of space for picnics and games. Be warned; there is a deliciously deep muddy puddle which my dog loves to cool down in.....

Brilliant park to visit on a sunny day - and it's not one of the better-known parks so there usually aren't very many people there. There's a bunch of things you can do -- sit beside the pond, lie down in the upper area and enjoy the view, go down to the more secluded areas among the trees, go to the canal and watch boats, or take a 15 minute walk north to see some cows and horses.

I take my dogs over there. It's a nice and very clean park. There is also a cafeteria there if you fancy a cuppa and something to eat. A very interesting fact. At the bottom of the park, there is the river lea. The remains of a Viking longship was found there and you can see the ship in the Hackney museum in mare street.

I love this park. Work is currently being done on the pond but it's still great to be around the water. It's in a great location too - close enough to the main road for easy access yet far enough away that you could forget you're in a busy part of London. Close to the Walthamstow Marshes (and the canal) too, should you wish to wander over.

The park is underrated. Its quite big and spacious also not packed full of people. It has the lea valley running through it and has rowing clubs nearby. It's a great place for a walk, a bike ride or a picnic.
