First, I didn't eat here. I only had drinks. But I enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. This place is definitely meant for families. Mainly kids. But it's a really interesting concept and environment. There are multiple floors of restaurant. I'd definitely recommend getting a reservation before coming as the lineups are long. It was simply a unique experience. Some of the food reviews here aren't great. So take that into account. But walking down the street I saw this place and it immediately drew me in as it was very strange. If you like really strange concepts and underground restaurants, it's worth checking out!

Unique experience in a good way. Amazing chicken strips and cheezy garlic bread - the best I've ever had! Quite pricey, but that's expected for such a place and London in general. Some staff members were polite and welcoming, others not so much. All together would recommend for the experience. Note: Loud sound effects and has strobe lights! Note2: Main portions are huge! Did not leave any room for a desert. Reasons for not giving 5 stars: *Hard to get any staff members attention, *Ordered shrimp, never got it, even though one of the staff members bigged it up for how good it was, *We were asked if we want a drink with or without ice and still got it with ice, *Some of the food was slightly undercooked

I recently visited this restaurant and explored the first floor. The jungle theme decoration was impressive, and the interior was adorned with a variety of cute toy and stuffed animal dolls for sale, making it a perfect spot for kids. Overall, it's a great place to dine with family and enjoy the ambiance.

Kids loved it, it looks so cool when you arrive. The animals, the "storms", it was all great. The waitress was friendly and helpful, but she was so busy we did feel a little forgotten at times. We had to wait ages for our bill. The food is fine, but it's basically expensive pub grub!

The first time we came by the place was fully packed and my daughter had set her heart on eating here. So we tried on a slow evening during the week. Hadn't my daughter loved the whole set up with animals and sounds I would have regretted coming here at all. I thought it was amazing how there were about 7 staff walking about, 4 tables taken in front and 1 birthday party in the back and it still took about 15 minutes of waiting untill someone could seat us. (3 staff members had to ask abother staff member if and where we could sit). The girl who was waiting on us (Sivasankari) was very nice althought I might have startled her after paying the bill by commenting on the bad quality and preperation of the food. The burger was dry it felt like it was pre grilled and then grilled again for fast service. The grilled chicken was more likely cooked first and then grilled the skin was white on most of the parts instead of nice and crisp and the meat mostly dry. The mash and fries were ok. But the broccoli and corn were cooked too soft. The corn had a weird taste and was very dark orange with brown parts, the broccoli had rotten parts. Fortunately the corn and chicken strips my daughter had were fresh and the fruitsalad was filled with my daughters favorite fresh fruits. I liked how the kids get crayons and a coloring placemat right at the start. The kids surprise for £3,- extra is only worth it if your Child is very neat otherwise it's likely to have loose playingcards and stickers everywhere in your house. I must say the prices of the toys in the store were reasonable. Compared to Hamleys or Harrods it was a steal.

The reviews had me worried - taking my 10 year old Great Niece. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation, sat at the bar and were seated no problem on time. Yes it was busy and lots of people turning up hoping for tables. All the staff I saw were very friendly and our waitress was excellent. This is what you’d expect. Heavy on the kids, with a monkey walking round for photos. Happy birthday sung to those celebrating. Food came quickly and my Great Niece loved it. My food was tasty and being only 2 minutes from Piccadilly yes it wasn’t cheap. The ribs were too big so we had a box to take away. All in all it did what I wanted it too. Go in relaxed and I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Well… the decoration is different, great for kids. The staff were very inexperienced(i don’t blame them but management should teach or train them?) and it all felt slow, they came with every food order asking “is this your food”. Prices are a joke for the food, the food is very plain. And then they service charge you, i mean, the service isn’t worth paying any extra but adding that extra 12.5% is unfair. If a family goes and orders a lot of food then see that on top it must be really dissapointing… We realised straight away what we got in to so ordered two starters and headed out. It’s a trap and not worth visiting.

The theme is really good, friendly staff but 5 to 10 mins of our food coming out the waitress was asking us if we were ready for dessert, then 2 more times while our food is clearly still being eaten. I found it a bit cheeky that the tip of 12.5% was added on to the bill without asking first. Top of the stairs, door clearly states keep fire exit clear and it was not, a load of rope barriers blocking the door. Other than that, it was an enjoyable.

All restaurants with animals. At first floor there is shop animals and downstairs there is the restaurant. We were waiting more than 15 minutes for the waiter. The food was medium. We ask for salt and they bring us when we finished to eat and this because my mother get up and ask them again. It's more of a gimmick that suit to small children. I came with 14 and they complained the food.

Had an amazing time! I think we had the best seat in the restaurant (animated gorilla next to us and also animated Jaguar right above us) can be quite an experience especially with the thunderstorm so make sure your child(ren) are ready for the rainforest ‘musical noises’. The food was ok ; we liked the lamb shank the best amongst all but it was the atmosphere that livened up the place. Our lunch just came under £100 for the 4 of us. Children had a great time and so did we!

Dishes are ok, I'd say the typical American menu, complete with hot dogs and milkshakes, and done to decent quality. Not sure about the service though. I appreciate they're quite busy and there are lots of little ones, but you can't bring out dirty cutlery and cups (one had lipstick on it...) And you also need to check in sometimes to see if anyone needs anything else.

I'm not sure how best to describe this place. It certainly is an experience. When you first get down the stairs into the restaurant you can't help but feel that the place is a little disorganised. However I think organised chaos is more appropriate and that is possibly the nature of a busy London restaurant aimed at children, that to top it all off has issues with their card machines so they could only take cash. The staff however knew exactly what they were doing and were so so helpful. Me however, who normally pays for everything by card was not so organised and barely had enough cash on me to cover the food! But having traipsed a 7 year old around london for hours i wasnt about to venture out again looking for an atm. Again the lovely staff helped me out and I even got some wine out of it! I really can't fault the place. Yes its full of excitable children, yes we had to stop what we were doing and clap along to birthday messages every 5 minutes, but the service was good, the food was nice and the place was relatively clean considering it was literally rammed with children. They do a set menu for children which is a main, a side, a dessert and a drink for £15 which is really reasonable. I just chose what I could afford to get me some wine on the side. My nephew had pizza with a side of corn, a lemonade and a sundae for pudding. I had some chicken dipper things off the light bite/starter section and a side of fries....which was huge and again these both came to around £15. And the wine, we can't forget the wine, that was around a fiver. Now I have to keep stressing the point that this place is packed full of children, so its no suprise that it's noisy, that there might be the odd sausage on the floor and the toilets might be bit questionable but everything else was just great. The decor is amazing and my nephew and I loved every minute of our time here.

Loved dining here with my daughter, great fun. We both enjoyed our food, very quick service too and our waiter was very attentive. We swapped a mango milkshake for another flavour as D didn't like the passion fruit our waiter quickly made up a new one no problem! Great place for kids/ families. Good location under 10min walk from M&M world, Lego store. Carnaby Street nearby also. It was £40 for two of us to eat including drinks. Kids meal is £15 for 3 course. The restaurant is downstairs under the gift shop. The toilets could do with updating , positive note there was 2 baby changing units.

Not quite how it was when known as The Rainforest Cafe, but still a lovely meal. Table was booked for 7pm, but we were seated early. Downside if table we were seated at....right at the back, tucked away in a corner, so missed the atmosphere if the restaurant. Extremely family orientated - expensive, but you're paying for the atmosphere (which we missed). Also missed the "tropical storm" that used to be simulated.

The setting is really good and great for kids there are moving animals throughout the restaurant and really fun for the kids. BUT.......... the food is a very low quality and more along the lines of a hungry horse if anyone remembers that ! And I think that is a bit harsh on hungry horse as the kids mac and cheese was dire and I suspect came from a packet! The service seemed ok but our waitress was a bit cold but that could be due to listening to animal noises 24 seven. Other staff were friendly and a giant elephant entertainer came round and posed for photos. Overall I would recommend giving this place a visit for the atmosphere and the experience for kiddies but don't go if your expecting a high quality meal.

Great ambience and lovely freindly staff. Just a shame the food didn't reflect the price 😔 There were animatronics and sound effects to reflect the setting, for example, the sound of rumbling thunder on occasions with flashes of lightning. Another edition which could work in the setting, would be perhaps someone in a monkey outfit or gorilla outfit to come along and engage with the kids for a couple of minutes whilst they are eating their food. Would also make a perfect picture opportunity. As I say previously, it's just a shame that the food was a bit of a let down 😔😔😔

Went here for a leaving do with some friends, had a two year old with us. She sat for a bit but the noises scared her. The atmosphere was good, the service was good but the food was a bit pricey for what it was. Saying that, I would go again. I had the ribs which were very tasty but I would have liked more sauce on it. My friend had the steak and she said it was really good.

I had been looking forward to taking my daughter here. Andy (bar staff) was great with my daughter and niece. However, the experience of the jungle cave was underwhelming. Food was average. Adrian, our server, was helpful and polite.

Visited yesterday for a meal, had a booked table through their website/open table. Birthday girl received a sticker on arrival. Arrived early so got drinks on the bar. Beer was extra good and cold, milkshake also good. Really interesting concept and atmosphere. Loved how passing the train above was made like it was a storm outside. Was given a table 23, really close to the facilities. Food arrived surprisingly quick, less than 5-10 min of ordering. Food was standard English quick food, it was good and a lot. Stuff attentive and polite. Facilities need an update, all tacky and dated. Table and chair were also tacky in my opinion. Shop felt somehow empty, overpriced like most London shops. Probably won't visit again.

I had a pulled pork burger and it was very tasty, our waitress was incredibly sweet, service was very quick, and the place was very unique. Something to look at no matter where you were seated, or where you turned your head! And incredibly child friendly.

The reviews and photos just don’t do this place justice. First off - this isn’t the Ritz. Adjust your expectations! There are gorillas screaming during the meal, it thunders, a parrot does a walk around. This is a restaurant for people with kids, or at least who enjoy novelty. Our waiter was fantastic & our meal was great. The atmosphere is really good and the surroundings felt like you were not in central London. Great fun!

Really really good. If you're reading this, you're probably considering it - it's worth it. We booked for 5pm, rang them, rearranged for 4pm, ended up getting here at like 3:30pm and they happily accommodated us a bit earlier with no issues. We came for our little one's birthday meal. Good value for the portion sizes (we had to ask for a takeaway box for our left over food). Kids had a kids meal, again, good portion sizes, and the dessert sundae was delicious (they noticed the birthday badge our kid was wearing, put a candle in the sundae and came around the table to sing happy birthday!). Atmosphere was really nice, a really cool rainforest environment, with moving animal props etc. The music and sounds of the water really helped set the mood. Our waitress/"safari guide" (Ruby) was really helpful and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Also, they have plenty of halal options. Just to mention, there isn't step free access, so we had to carry a pram down a short flight of steps. They told us about this when we booked anyway, which again, is very considerate of them! Thank you Jungle Cave!!!!

Lovely experience especially for my youngest child. Friendly staff. Good food. Great atmosphere with the decor and 'storm' every 30ish minutes. Prices are typical for London really. Quite chaotic in there though, definitely not the place to go for a quiet meal or if anyone struggles with sensory overload. Did have a table booked but still had a short wait until we got seated but able to sit at the bar and get a drink.

We were left waiting for ages, not provided any condiments when we asked, good job I keep sachets in my bag. And then our server Sarah, who kept disappearing when we asked for anything only came after we finally finished food not to see how we were but to complain about her manager! She made this experience awful. Food was ok, fornearly£100 for 3 people it had better be good, but service abysmal. Don't get the kids wild pack, it's not worth the extra cash. Fruit salad seemed like it had been sat out for ages!
