We went for the Jasmine, Indian Afternoon Tea at Kona. Service was fantastic and staff were really helpful and organised a cake for my mum's birthday. The savoury food is fantastic, and the flavours are wonderful. It is truly a unique experience with beautiful, delicate cakes that taste amazing. If you want afternoon tea with an Indian twist, then definitely go. Be prepared for the sweetness overload!!!

Taj 51 Buckingham gate suite is one of my favourite place. Lots of amenities and features at the place. Location is very convenient for public transport. Miss England and other famous beauty parents are conducted at this place. Rooms with great views of London.

A lovely place to spend the evening. I enjoyed the hospitality of Taj recently and highly recommend it. The lounge is really awesome and no need to mention about the food, which is always excellent.

Incredible hotel with fantastic food and great rooms. However what gave it the 5/5 was the customer service. The staff at both the hotel & residences couldn't do enough for you. I recommend to anyone staying in Central London as the location is perfect.

An amazing place! I love everything about this place, the decor, the friendly staff and the facilities on site. We went for a massage at the spa here followed by an indian afternoon tea at the Kona restaurant - very recommended. We then chilled out at the outside seating area with some drinks and snacks. It's a very relaxed setting.

From the moment you walk in the staff are fabulously attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The Spa was so relaxing and with lovely facilities. A meal in the courtyard is highly recommended with gorgeous surroundings and a delicious fusion menu. Even the bar had great staff who created off menu cocktails to perfection. Our room had everything we needed for a fabulous nights stay in a great location for all the London sights and shops! What more could you want. Thank you Taj we will be back soon.

We came here for the Jasmine afternoon tea to celebrate my aunt's birthday from Canada. We were served by the incredible Gabriela, she made sure everyone's many needs were catered to and was patient in explaining all the different items of food, sometimes even twice!!! The team brought out a special vegan cake for my aunt which she absolutely loved! And we even got to meet Chef Kishor who had catered to all our dietary requirements. The ambience is lovely and it was a pretty relaxed afternoon tea, the sandwiches were spot on and the selection of teas was splendid! Thank you Gabriela, you made our day very special and truly unforgettable!

We love this hotel. We stayed here again for our return trip to London. Diego is a key asset to the location. He was available and ready to help out with all of our wants and needs. Ridge was also very helpful with the front desk and checking out. Thank you. Both! The critique would be with the staff at breakfast. The mostly seemed like a bit stressed and scattered. I think a good manager who helps direct flow and coordinate things would be helpful. The exeutive chef in the kitchen was great and made sure the food was ready and delicious. You can watch the individuals running about and missing the mark a bit. If you are American and visiting and order coffee, ask for black coffee and cold milk. This is what we are used to. The espresso and double cream is what usually showed up but was not what we wanted. See you next time. Richard

This was the first time I stayed at Taj St. James Court. The location is 10 / 10; Check in experience was 6/10; Room would be 7/10; breakfast would be 9/10. The gym could have been better so barely used it. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was slightly small, no view as such. I would say that on a value for money, the place was 8/10. Overall its a recommended place, but don't have too high expectations of an ultra luxury stay. The hotel is very close to victoria station and st james park station. Buckingham Palace is at the end of the street, so royalty are neighbors. Very close to Westminster Palace and Westminster Abbey.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Variety of choices for breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to my office. Missed my way couple of times trying to locate the restroom at the lobby and the lift, however it was all part of the experience.

10/5! Amazing hotel, amazing staff, and amazing location. It’s perfect for a family or romantic getaway. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and it was more than enough space for our family of 5. Nicely furnished and the living room and kitchen were perfect. You can walk to Buckingham palace in five minutes. There’s many restaurants around in addition to the restaurants on property. Breakfast was delicious and hit the spot. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Alex at the concierge desk was phenomenal and had our transportation down to the minute. Once again, amazing stay. We will stay here when we go back, definitely for longer.

We enjoyed our stay here, the Taj staff are lovely - it makes all the difference. Ridge at front desk, and Suevilla were great. Loved the spa, food, and drinks too. Wasn’t nice to see ‘some’ badly behaved guests - entitled kids and adults, talking arrogantly to staff. Bless the staff for putting up with, and smiling through this.

We visited the Taj on the occasion of King Charles' coronation. The hotel is sumptuous and looks tremendous. The doorman was most charming and kind. The room was comfy but the fridge didn't work and nor did the TV. We were told that at the time none of the TVs were working. The tap in the bath was very awkward to use. The reception staff were not especially eager to offer advice about the area. Also, when we asked for some ice for our room we were charged an additional £5, and it took ages to come.

I visited for the secret garden afternoon tea. The location was a short walk from Victoria Station. The location was beautiful and the themeing of the afternoon tea spot on. However there was a lot of cake which was very sweet and not a lot of savoury food. Just 3 very small sandwiches each. You could have tea or gin but we weren't offered the gin as a choice just asked which tea we wanted. It was nice as an experience but I don't think it was worth the price.

I would stay here again for sure. Great rooms, great food, lovely staff. They mostly seem to cater to Indian business men but we stayed with our family including an 11 year old kid and it was great. Go to the spa if you have time. It’s warm and cozy and we had a great massage. I think we ate at all the related restaurants and all were good.

Took my brother here for an Indian jasmine afternoon tea on his bday this week and it was REGAL! We went for vegan and vegetarian menu. My brother was offered a surprise bday dessert with a candle. The whole place was lit up and looked christmasy. Loved the way our table was decorated with gold and red accents. The staff were attentive and explained about every item on the menu. They even provided us refills twice. One of the BEST khandvi and dhoklas I have tasted in a long time , it was so fresh and cotton soft. The desserts were creativ, indian sweets with a western twist. Saffron scone was surprisingly delicious I wasn't sure at first though. The vegan scones were a bit dry however everything else was on point! Totally worth the price and highly recommended experience to surprise your loved one. Ps : book through buyagift or redletter days site for discounted price.

I recently had a horrifying experience at Taj 51 Buckingham Palace - 5 Star Hotel in Westminster where I stayed. I had given my luggage to the safegaurd at the hotel lobby, and when I came back after completing my check in procedure , my bag was gone. The hotel staff were of no help and refused to take responsibility for the theft. It was incredibly disappointing and scary to experience such an event in a place you are supposed to trust. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, as it appears to be an unsafe place to stay. It is clear that theft is a problem in the lobby. I would advise people to be extra careful when travelling and always keep their belongings close. Even i had a terrible experience with the local police in a foreign country. Me and my friends had our laptop, currency, gold, and other personal belongings stolen. We had already tracked down the thief, but the police were not helpful in apprehending the thief. To make matters worse, the hotel security staff refused to help us. This was a very frustrating and stressful experience for us, especially since we were in an unfamiliar country. It was a complete lack of respect for law and order on the part of the police and hotel staff. I would not recommend anyone visit this country without taking proper precautions and making sure that they have reliable law enforcement at their disposal. Last year I didn't enjoy my experience as the food wasn't very nice over priced for the afternoon tea. Also the management was terrible due to the fact I was having trouble to upload my voucher. I received an apology and an invitation for a repeat performance. I sent an email to let the management know I'm coming to London in April and no response so this company doesn't keep to their word. So I seriously wouldn't recommend having another afternoon tea here especially when the food isn't fresh unlike what I get in Yorkshire. So I'm better off sitting in my back garden with my own baking as I win prizes for my baking and I have real butterflies in my garden not plastic rubbish.

What a wonderful hotel! The staff, especially our Butler, Amit, was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating to all of our needs. Great food and wait staff, ambiance and service. The amenities are fantastic, maid service was efficient, and the concierge staff were all eager to assist. Gym was clean and had nice machines and plenty of equipment and a wonderful sensory journey in the spa area. A definite must stay!!

We stayed in the suites and not the hotel. Although they are on the same property, they are vastly different and have entirely different staff. The accommodations, staff, and everything was excellent. Location is central to sight seeing and theatres. And as with everything in London, everything else is just a few tube stops away. The only thing we were somewhat disappointed with is the lack of dining options in the area. It is not devoid of restaurants but a lot of casual spots and the few proper restaurants were underwhelming. The restaurants on the property can be hit and miss.

Had our Jasmine afternoon tea to celebrate my wife’s 70th which was in January this year. The staff was excellent and who surprised my wife with a slice of Birthday cake as I had mentioned when they asked if it was a special occasion. It was a nice gesture! TBH, on a personal note, I feel that giving a different slant to the authentic Indian dishes is not “my cup of tea”. On the whole a great experience in an excellent hotel.

Having spent a few days at this beautiful place, everything from start to finish was astounding. This is for sure going to be my abode when in London, excellent location for sightseeing. I cannot for the life of me, understand that there can even be a bad review. Well done to The TAJ. GREAT TEAM....

AFTERNOON TEA AT Kona Restaurant . Simple . Quite disappointing as they allocated us a table just in front on the main door and facing the stand-by area of the staff. It was not a kind of experience we expected from a 5 star hotel . Size of the restaurant is quite small yet cosy. Thumbs-up to Gabriela who served us on that that day though. Good food but will not come back again.

Outstanding customer service, great room very spacious, looks like living in a big spacious 3 bedroom flat with kitchen, dining and sitting area, very good location. Near to most of the iconic tourist spots in London. Specially Buckingham Palace. Everyone on the staff were delightful and very accommodating

Best hairdresser in London is based here. Hair by Dar is excellent. I've been asked by complete strangers about my hair, absolutely fabulous! The samosa chaat is excellent and the hotel is gorgeous! The courtyard is my favourite spot for tea /coffee.

Me and my wife stayed here on our first night for the honeymoon. The staff was excellent, and very accommodating. The grounds are clean, well maintained, and very fancy. The lobby bar was well stocked, and the breakfast had lots of delicious oprions available. The bed was the best part of the room. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in, and the shower was even better. Spacious, excellent water pressure, and very user friendly. The hotel is located in a great place in London. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance, and you can walk to Buckingham palace. Overall, two pinkys kind of fancy. I definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed in the three bedroom Kings suite with my family of 6 and from the time of arrival until we checked out, I have never experienced by attentive, thoughtful and friendly service as I did with the Taj 51 staff. If we have another trip to London I would not hesitate to stay here. The suite was very spacious and felt like a home away from home. The Indian dishes we received from room service were spectacular. Location is great, walking distance to so many family friendly attractions.

My wife and I stayed 7 nights at the Taj St. James Court London. We have been to the Taj Hotel in Dubai before and we really appreciate the high standard and 5* customer service as well as the Jiva Spa treatments. The hotel facilities are great and spacious, the restaurants are amazing!! Great fusion between British and Indian food. The hotel court with its fountain is gorgeous. The service always very friendly and attentive. House keeping was great, rooms are very clean and quiet. The older rooms are getting an update step by step. Spa area war a great retreat from a stressful sightseeing day. Thanks to the whole spa team, especially Nutei and Dulley. At the restaurant I would like to thank Xenia, Mydan and Emilie. Whenever there was a problem the main desk figured out a quick and great solution. We have already booked our next stay in december 2022. See you again soon!

A very warm and welcoming hotel. From the minute we stepped through the doors every single member of hotel staff were friendly and on hand to help. Small gestures were noted by all staff that we spoke to. Would definitely recommend a stay here especially if you’re looking for a little getaway. A great airy room, spacious bathroom. Attentive staff Great cocktails Breakfast was adequate and tasteful.

The Taj 51 sets a new standard for service and comfort! The staff is the best ever - genuinely caring, gracious and professional. The suites are spacious, elegant and offer every amenity. The hotel itself is in an ideal location - quiet yet convenient to all. The whole experience was perfect. I didn’t want to leave, and I can’t wait to go back!
