BEWARE!! DO NOT STAY!! UNSAFE!! BUGS!! Normally I wouldn’t write a negative review but this needs to be shared. First and foremost Thomas the “General Manager” tried to manipulate me into signing a document that said I wouldn’t write a negative review in exchange for a refund when we found BED BUGS!! Luckily, I easily outsmarted him and avoided signing any documents that I’m sure he has pressured many other guests into signing. My wife ALWAYS checks the beds we stay in at any hotel. As soon as she pulled back the covers BED BUGS were apparent. We went downstairs to explain the situation to the management team who were NOT surprised. We had to book another hotel at midnight in Soho and were told to come speak to “Thomas the general manager” the following day. I came back to demand my refund for the situation and was told I could ONLY have a refund if I signed a document saying I wouldn’t press the issue any further or leave a bad review. When I walked out without signing the document the HOTEL MANAGER CHASED ME DOWN THE STREET!!! Do not stay here, Thomas should be fired immediately for the way he handled the situation. If you’re looking for a good place to stay nearby try the London West End. Good luck and be safe!!

Hard to rate this place. Great location in the middle of soho. However very loud music at night. Rooms are very nice but small. Good bed, linens, towels etc. Great concern that rooms in the annex only had one way in and out.

We had a brief stay in London and I wanted to be able to walk from the train to the hotel and to just explore Soho. It was the perfect location to do this. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. The room was nice but remarkably small! It served our purposes and was not a huge deal for a quick overnight. If you plan to stay longer than a night, I’d inquire about larger room options.

My partner and I came here last week. Can only speak for the bar as we didn’t stay at the hotel. Suffice it to say, we won’t be returning and would advise all others to stay away too. From the outside it looked okay, if a little try-hard where pointless luxury furnishings were concerned. We decided to try the place out anyway, sat down at a free table (as one does), and waited for 10-15 minutes; embarrassed, I realised that it surely must be bar service only. I went over to the bar only to be told to ‘sit back down’ as they were ‘coming to us’. On my way back to our table I saw a nearby couple wearing scowls and watching the encounter with interest, as they clearly were waiting to be served too. After another ten minutes - just as we were about to leave - the barman did in fact come over to us, only to inform us that apparently our table was reserved and we now needed to leave (despite there being no indication of the table being reserved whatsoever). We were all too happy to depart at this point. Trust me, it isn’t worth even contemplating stopping by this poorly-staffed, wannabe upmarket, sore disappointment of an establishment. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I stayed in one of the windowless basement rooms with a double bed. Yes, it is very small but it was quiet, clean, the housekeeping was attentive, and the price was appropriate given the location. Traveling solo, it worked just fine as a place to sleep and shower. The small space means you need to keep yourself organized. If you are someone who likes to spend time hanging out or relaxing in your hotel room then I suggest booking a different style of room or staying elsewhere. The overall hotel has a moody, dark, warm, and inviting feel. The staff were always pleasant.

The room was extremely small but comfortable if you are staying for just one or two nights. Not the most pleasant staff for a hotel/bar industry. Myself and a friend were sitting at the bar lounge, we were there for 5 minutes chatting, when decided to order, we were told we couldn't cuz that table was reserved (nothing showing it was reserved), there were 3 other tables beside the one we were at and nothing saying they were reserved. They told us they couldn't accommodate us but changed their minds as we leaving. After 2 nights stay, at check out I asked the receptionist to hold my suitcase for 1hr and I was told sure, 10 pounds. I was like, excuse me!!. Turned out they charge to hold luggages. Never have I ever before paid to have my luggage held in any hotel I have ever been to. It's desperation. I know there are better hotels in soho and I would not be stepping my foot in this hotel again.

We visited London to watch a show just outside Soho. Mimis is in a great location, hence why we chose it. Yes the rooms are tiny, I used to work on cruise ships and it reminded my of my old cabins. Yes there’s little storage. Yes it’s noisy outside (it’s in Soho, right). But for cost vs value, I’d say this is a decent little hotel. Not designed for longer trips, but great for a night or two in the big smoke. I’d certainly go back again for a short trip.

Stayed overnight in a luxury room (due to reading reviews of the windowless rooms being too hot so we wanted a larger room with a window). At first glance, the hotel is lovely and in a great location. The staff however are very rude and for this reason we will not return. Also having to pay £10 to leave a small suitcase behind reception for 4 hours after checkout is ridiculous and desperate. We returned from the theatre around 11:30 and wanted to purchase a drink from the hotel bar to take to the room, we were however told no due to the bar being run by a separate company so it was ‘closed’, even when we asked if we could purchase a soft drink as there wasn’t enough water provided in the room upon check in. If you want a nice experience when checking in and out of a hotel, do not stay here.

We were just looking for some drinks late in the evening and just took our chance in this lovely 1920s inspired bar. It also happened that at midnight it was my birthday so it was a perfect way of celebrating the new age. The staff were all lovely and sweet. Drinks came quickly. We had a lovely time there.

Room is very small, bed is wall to wall and very firm but a good size. Pillows were so thin, we folded them in half, this was the only let doen for us, an extra pillow or just better ones would have been a lot better. Bathroom was great, modern, shower was very good, nice molton brown body wash, shampoo, hand soap and body lotion. Perfect for one night if you aren’t going to spend a lot of time in there. Best location too, near tottenham court road tube. TV had films (sky movies type selection) but seemed a bit tempremental to use, flickering screen and slow to navigate, we only had it on when getting ready. We were on the -1 floor so effectivily basement level, didnt hear a thing outside the hotel or in the hallway. No window means sleeping in is easier! Aircon was fab and much needed at basement level even in the winter and it being so small, just makes sure it stays at a good temp. Staff were nice, we didnt drink or eat there. Decor and lighting in hotel itself is a bit odd we thought, more like a certain ‘club’ vibe than the average hotel. Highly recommend for a short stay, shopping bags as well as luggage would be a struggle space wise but there is a bit of room under the bed to store bags. Very clean too.

The location was great; we walked to most places from the hotel! The room was super tiny which I knew when I booked it, however it was sooo hot. We woke up sweating every night we were there despite having it set to 16 degrees. The drinks at the bar were the highest prices we had seen the entire time in London so that was a disappointment, however there is a small bar across the street that has amazing drinks for less than half the price. If you have a flight that leaves later in the day; you will be charged £10 per bag that the hotel holds for you.

Due to a cancelled flight, I could not start my journey. I informed the hotel about this immediately. Instead of being offered a rebooking on another date or a general solution-oriented attitude on the phone, I had to be insulted by the extremely ineloquent gentleman on the phone.

Drinks were great however our evening was tarnished after our friend was racially singled out and abused by 2 women in the bar. The bar staff not only allowed this to happen but actually approached us and blamed our friend for bringing it on herself. When we went to order another round of drinks we were told this wasn’t possible. The bar staff made us feel all feel very uncomfortable so we left. We will not be returning.

The rooms are tiny, however they mentioned this in the descriptions. Upon check in, the space was cleaned very well, and being on the 4th floor with 0 windows resulted in a good night’s sleep, contrary to other reviews regarding noises, which I did not experience. A noteworthy mention to the receptionist, Abdul, for giving me his umbrella due to the rain, as I had to walk to a train station for checkout at the early hours of 5:00AM. Abdul demonstrated a genuine care for the hotel and his guests, displaying courteousness, professionalism, kindness. and I will be forever grateful for his wholesome gesture!

Stumbled upon this place with friends on a busy night and nowhere else to go. We were welcomed in by a lovely member of staff and taken to a cozy table by the bar where we experienced the craftsmanship and warmth of the bartenders and exceptional hospitality. Lovely ambiance, delicious cocktails (and strong too!!) and wonderful service. Five stars.

Very good location, and the rooms are super small but comfortable. You should be very careful with the pick pockets if you stay at this hotel. They stole my boyfriend’s phone when we were having a drink in the lobby. A similar incident occurred 2 nights after with another couple. A man walked into the bar and attempted to steal from them. We saw everything and the staff didn't do anything. We asked for the video record to send to the police, and they did not provide, which made us think the hotel has some connection with this pick pocket gang. (the pick pocket stole inside the hotel !!!) BE CAREFULL !!!! If someone gets close to you asking for money, do not allow them to get close to you. They pretend to have some mental issue, or pretend to be unable to speak. They hold a piece of paper asking for money, and when you are reading the paper they snatch your phone or your wallet. Never leave your phone on the tables, that makes even easier for them.

Such a lovely place 😍 Francesko and Mathias they were just amazing. Stunning cocktails and a lovely atmosphere. Francesco has very good senses and talent for cocktails and what people are looking for in drinks. He is doing one of the best cocktails in London for sure ! 😍 Definitely, I will come back. Thank you so much, guys.😊

Mimi’s are upfront and transparent. The rooms are tiny, but the location is fantastic! i was travelling solo and didn’t mind the shoe box feel for 2 days so this place was perfect and reasonably priced. I gave the whole thing 5 stars not because it’s a 5 star hotel, it’s not. But because it’s exactly what it says it is and you can’t be the price for the location.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Soho. Very close to everything with lots of bars and restaurants. The bar in the hotel was fantastic with really nice cocktails. Checkout and checkin were perfect and everyone was friendly. Room was what I would call ´compact’ but was absolutely fine for me with good bed and charger points. Bathroom was good with a nice powerful shower. Room also had a Nespresso coffee machine with tea and coffee and a bottle of water. My only moan would be the light switch.. I have a Ph.D but had no idea how to turn the lights off or on😎😎

Location was great, but the room was very small. It had a king sized bed with not even a crack of space on three sides, and maybe 4 feet by 7 feet of space by the entrance. No place to store clothing other than in your suitcase under the bed. On the plus side, no windows made it far easier to overcome jet lag, as we were able to sleep quite effectively without being prematurely woken by sunshine. Would not recommend if you like lounging in your hotel room very much.

Great hotel, right in the heart of London. The staff is very attentive and kind. Everything is very clean. If you're looking for a cute hotel with an incredible location to explore London, then don't hesitate and book Mimi’s Hotel Soho.

Really fabulous little find. Loved the quirky mini room and how quiet it was. On the doorstep to everything we wanted. The staff were pleasant. The only reason I've given the service 4 stars is because we asked for a couple of pillows and the guy brought them without pillow cases and was surprised that I dared to request two pillow cases too.

Nice cosy room. Bathroom was cleaned and bed was comfortable. Nice lobby with some sort of nice decor. The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our retreat most enjoyable. Definitely will come back to stay here again.

Lovely friendly hotel in the perfect location for a London holiday. San, Anna, Zhana and Alex made us feel really welcome. The rooms in the Greek Street annex are small but fully equipped and very comfortable.

The hotel is perfectly located in a bustling part of Soho. I was worried that the noise would keep me awake but the hotel have done a good job of insulating the parts where people sleep. I opted for a room with a double bed and no windows because of my budget and, in hindsight, this was a mistake. The room was incredibly small for the price and not having windows made the room feel rather claustrophobic and uncomfortable to stay in. A satisfactory stay, all in all, and the staff were very helpful but I advise against a non-window room!

Incredibly rude manager. She was extremely rude and dismissed me straight away in front of other guests who were at the bar. when I asked if I could store a cake either on the side or in a fridge as there’s no space in my room. I asked for her name and she gave it to me with attitude: I’ll be escalating this further. Very appalled as I chose to spend my birthday weekend here and she has ruined it with her smug demeanour and attitude. I’d only recommend staying here if you’d like to tolerate rudeness managers.

It looked like a respectable hotel with it cozy lobby, until a hord of loud Italian teenagers, coming to visit their friend the Italian barman while he's working, turned the lobby of the hotel into a noisy underground station. Very unprofessional.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location with comfortable, pretty rooms. The staff were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We asked if they had any different pillows as one of us is allergic to feathers, and they asked what we would like instead and went straight out to buy some. Really impressive service and we will definitely be going back - thank you very much!

Very nice and pleasant hotel. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Everything was very good and the rooms were clean. The location is highly recommended and everything is very convenient. Two subway stations nearby. Tottenham Court and Leicster Square. Connections to other lines are easy to reach. Air conditioning in the room. Were there in the summer. Unfortunately, you can't leave the windows open because it's very noisy. But if the window is closed, it shouldn't be a problem. Earplugs are free on the bedside table. Room service came every day. Unfortunately no elevator. Older people should therefore ask for a room in the lower area.

Got room 001, in the basement with no window. I’m not claustrofobic and thus it didn’t really bother me. Room is neat, tidy and very clean. Nice (small, of course) bathroom with great walk in shower. You’ve got shampoo, conditioner, gel and body lotion. Double bed with good mattress. Socket right by the bed. And no, it’s not pitch dark at night. There’s the green light from the aircon and the light from the TV. And it’s very quiet. No street noises down there. And it’s right in the middle of the action.

This hotel was better than I could have imagined. As a solo traveler I felt very safe, and I would definitely stay here again. It’s close to so many pubs and restaurants, and the staff were all friendly.

We stayed in one of the suites up the road which was nice and spacious but poor lighting and steep stairs - very overpriced for what it was. We couldn't get a drink in the hotel bar as it was booked out by non-residents which was disappointing. I would not stay here again.

Very comfortable and clean. But I was disappointed when I tried the order a pot of tea and was told I was too late as it had just gone 5.00pm. However I would still stay there again.

I love the location and the coziness of the place. The room was dark and sexy buutt very small. I have nothing against small spaces, but the problem is they have no shelves or crooks to hang clothes and stuff to compensate for the space. The staff were very accomodating. I booked 3 mili cozy rooms, rhe other room has no window, well on the ceiling. We askes for a new room and the other guest transfered to a better room with proper windows. The hotel was in the very heart of everything, well it depends where your interests are. We lived near chinatown, sonderheim theater, and a 15 min walk away from regent/ oxford street. Many restaurants nearby, we did not need to go far to enjoy the night.

Beautiful hip hotel in Soho. Rooms are very small, but very nicely fitted out. Location is amazing. It gets noisy in the morning with trash collection and deliveries, but such is city life.

The single worst travel experience of my life! Beware of trick photography, close ups of fluffy towels, Bath robes, a touch of marble, a pretty wall scone. Yet, zero of the floor plan. My room (incl bath) measured 2.0m x 2.2mts. So, where was the bed? Apparently the 58 roomed hotel is the brain-child of a German billionaire. Yep, I get it! A few 'suites' seem to be the rooms shown on websites, but, in reality myself (and others) were devastated, arguing at Reception to get fair value for £135 a night, zero breakfast. The entire floor area to dress, walk around, unpack, store baggage, was 80cm x 1.2cm. Get the drift! I couldn't fit through the shower door, so just splashed around. I was solo, on business, so how on earth would it work with two in the 'Cozy' room, looking for romance? (like a game of Twister) Oh, and beware of the clever words as well - 'cozy'. I have 2 questions; with carbon monoxide laws nowadays, how did this place get Council and Health Dept approval? And is this the future of travel? Surely travel belongs to all of us, for all to enjoy. This hotel represents exploitation, with a twist of advertising cunning tossed in. A sham.

The best location you could ask for when staying in London! Would definitely go back to Mimi’s in the future. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, very comfortable bed, good quality fittings in bedroom, everything you could ask for. Cool bar area too, nicely done out.
