Before even leaving this place, we had to write a review as it was that good! The owner greeted us like old friends despite it being our first time, probably the warmest reception we’ve actually ever had. The café is nicely decorated and the food was delicious and a great price for the location! Several regulars came in behind us chatting to the owner as well, so it was obvious how easily he builds relationships. Can’t recommend enough!

Lovely, friendly cafe. Over the road from the personal training studio I use, so very convenient. It's popular, so there isn't always a seat, but it's popular because it's good. Good food and coffee, and fast, friendly service. A large choice of food and drinks on offer too.

Just had a cappuccino and slice of lemon cake. Nice small Italian place. Staff are friendly and smiley.

We found this place on our way as we were looking for an English breakfast. The window was looking good :) Nice atmosphere inside, the food is good and well prepared. They also have vegetarian English breakfast and vegan English breakfast! Service was good, even though a bit overwhelming sometimes.

This place is a gem! The owner is one of a kind, he really did make us feel like family, very lovely. The place is a bit small, so make sure to get there in time. There's seating outside, but the inside is quite cosy. Everyone received us with a smile, the service was quick and the food delicious and filling. It's one of those places we'll miss the most from our trip, since we're not locals, just visiting. If you don't know what to get for breakfast think about this café, and say hello to the owner for me.

Met by friendly staff about seated next to another couple. As we ordered the next tables food was delivered. The lady advised she had requested butter free toast. But the toast on her plate was buttered. Staff removed the toast and placed it in the side in the kitchen. As the kitchen was open to view we then watched them warm the toast and ask it to out plate. We requested it fresh piece and them did replace. But food hygiene. This should have been thrown away not added to another plate.

Delicious full English breakfast, vegetarian was filling and the veggie sausages delicious. Nice ambience, not too busy, super friendly staff, and some of the best prices I've seen in London. Highly recommend for a great breakfast.

Fantastic little cafe with great service, an inviting ambiance and a wide selection of fresh juices and smoothies, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, etc. at very reasonable prices. The vegetarian breakfast is especially delicious, with proper good coffee to boot! Will be coming back!

Food here is really good, not the best quality but is really yummy, well made and massive variety of dishes here! Breakfast, lunch, whatever you prefer. Lunchtime menu is £10.50 large plate for eating in, £9.50 for small plate and just £1 cheaper of takeaway! Many different drinks, coffee, sweet deserts, fresh pastry! You won’t be disappointed at all!

Really one of the best cafes in London. Maybe the best in central London. Excellent quality food at good prices. And the owner is very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic coffee too!

Great English breakfast with minor improvement possibilities. Staff genuinely pleasant approach and customer handling. Feels like a true continental cafe, possibly even "too genuine". Ok prices for this part of London. Quite few tables indoors (seats around 12-15 people), but more tables available outside. My first choice for breakfast around Covent Garden, good value for money by comparison.

I grabbed my time to have my only meal during transfer in London and tried this amazing food! The temperature of the food is just right! Every ingredient is so refreshing. Egg Royale is so great! It makes me hard to forget. It goes so well with the veggie drink. It's refreshing and tastes well, which is not commonly found. You can feel the effort they have invested to make them done so well! What a feast! I wish I can come back for the food again!

We ‘discovered’ Cafe de Provence on our way to the theatre for a matinee performance. And what a blessing that turned out to be! The staff were amazingly friendly, made us feel we were the only people that mattered (even though they were beginning to deal with the lunchtime rush) and the food was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this small in size but big in excellence cafe to anyone.

A lovely little gem in London! Best place to come in for breakfast or lunch. Great wraps and hot food when I want to have something quick to take back to the office. All the staff are friendly. Definitely recommend. ☺️

Friendly staff, reasonably priced for Central London, halal food which is also delicious and doesn't leave you bloated. Can't ask for more really. They offer a lot of choice from breakfast, to hot food and salad bar, to sandwiches, baked potatoes, paninis and beverages like smoothies so it's a 10/10 for me. The way customers casually come in to dine speaks volumes about the service and loyalty, it's certainly doing many things right. My only gripe is how I didn't find out about this place earlier, definitely will come again!

Excellent. The owner is very welcoming. The food is delicious and the prices are very good for central London. Homemade halal food, in a clean and cozy environment. What else can we ask for?

Lovely cafe, the owner is a gem of a man. He is genuinely warm and engaging, and the food is super tasty too. They also have wifi. Do stop by for a nice meal if you're in the area.

First time going today, after looking endlessly for a decent full English. The owner of the cafe is a lovely and polite person, the food was well portioned and tasting delicious. I will definitely be coming back soon.

What an amazing cafe , well the word ‘cafe ‘does not do this eatery justice ! The food is excellent! ( and can I say I am very fussy and do not use this word lightly ) The buffet menu we sampled was fresh ,super tasty with lots of variety :the chef is superb ! The gentleman in charge was really kind , amazingly helpful and happy ;it really was a service with a smile . This is our second visit to London and our second visit to cafe de Provence . ( we actually made a beeline for it on our arrival in London). Not only was the quality of the food exceptional the price was equally incredible .Cafe de Provence is definitely worth a visit , you will not be disappointed but you will be spoilt!

Amidst all the chains and awful customer service with overpriced food, stands this very cool place. It makes you feel like you're on holiday in France. Nice music, but even better food. Best porridge I've had, lovely coffee, and continental breakfast and fresh orange juice. All other food looked great too and very reasonably priced! The owner wouldn't let me pay extra for a double shot nor for having a large orange juice instead of small as well so I'm thankful for previous Google reviews for leading me to this place!

We were greeted by the owner as we came in for drinks only, also as it started raining. Such a grsat find and menus looked lovely. There was an offer for coffee with croissant for £3 take away only, but he gave them to us inside which was such a kind gesture. Definitely recommend this for a delicious lunch or drink.

We Came to London for a Family Wedding. We found this wonderful place on Drury Lane in Covent Garden. The Young lady working was so pleasant and helpful. The food and drinks were fantastic. You have to try this place, the menu is huge and very delicious. Recommend all day long. We will certainly be going back next time we are in town.
