This practice should lose its licence, simple. Disgusting consultation from so called GP or Asian descent. They should not get paid from NHS because they do nothing for patients. Appalling waiting times on phone, arrogant reception today in afternoon (Mediterranean accent, sounded Italian), condescending tone and friend with very bad cough, told next appointment was ok 2 weeks?? This cannot be correct as I believe they offer same day appointments. What gives receptionist the right to sound so uncaring and arrogant. She should not be in such a job! My friends cough got so bad she was coughing every minute after months of it gradually getting worse and the GP once she had the appointment told her to call 111. Completely unacceptable. One Asian lady in reception is actually pleasant and kind but the other one mentioned above seems to be malicious.

This used to be a good GP Surgery but it’s now impossible to book appointments to see or speak with the GP. To book an appointment you need to phone in at an allocated time but the number is always busy and it takes weeks of trying before you get a ringtone and a reply. Once you get passed that hurdle, the GP does phone you back however you don’t generally get offered any meaningful check-ups or tests beyond the very basics, if anything at all. Things then seem to speed up and, if you need a blood test for example, the appointment with the nurse is offered for the same morning, sometimes within 30 minutes. The surgery is always empty and there are no patients in sight or anyone waiting in front of you. The surgery is so deserted that if you turn up early for the appointment with the nurse you are seen immediately. Covid-19 was the best thing that could happen to GP surgeries nationwide which gave them the sacrosanct right to stop seeing patients!...and this particular surgery embraced that inviolable right to the full and perpetuate it in time! It’s shameful

Has really gone downhill. Used to be a fantastic surgery. Dr Wright is a good doctor and is calm and collected. My mother carried on seeing him when we moved to another hour. The other doctors are poor. I am now 36 and I started using it from birth. I remember Dr Wright and Dr Spiro. They were great doctors but the admin is poor and the woman doing it has a real attitude. A shame you can't go back in time

Very bad practice extremely poor service I’m so upset with these people, the GP called me at work unfortunately I can’t answer the phone a txt sent asking me to call back and speak to a practitioner. I called back at 8.30am cannot get through when I did get through I was told all call back appointments are booked up and to call back at 2pm couldn’t get through again at 2pm but eventually did, and yet again all afternoon appointments are fully booked and to call back at 4.45pm as there could be a cancellation I have set my Google again to alert me to 4.40 but I’m not holding my breath for a GP call back. All I want to know is what is the test results after all they called me so I’m assuming it’s important. The receptionist is rude and confrontational, I literally end up with Anxiety every time I call this place, I’m not even sure if there’s any better practices locally

I took my elderly father for an urgent blood test which had been booked a month ago by telephone. I was told when I arrived that it was the wrong day and told I had made an error. The female reception was very unhelpful and insisted that it was my error. Even if I had made an error the normal confirmation text would have flagged this a month ago, which they had not sent. She continued to tell me what they could not do and never once tried to suggest a reasonable solution. I have to say that the male receptionist is lovely and always helpful and apologetic

The Clinicians and Doctors used to be good at this practice - but lately it is impossible to get an in person appointment. I have only ever managed to see people who will do blood tests, but no actual doctor. I have only ever had phone appointments with their doctors who I suspect are not even based at this practice. When I registered I was offered an appointment for a checkup within a week of signing up as a part of the registration process. After that it was difficult to get speak to my GP regarding my test results. If you are registered on the practice website you can click on the Web GP link which links to your My NHS profile where you can fill in an online symptoms questionnaire which creates a record that is passed to a GP at the practice and I was called back within 24 hours. I was told in August 2022 that I was being referred for a scan. I have been calling every month since then asking why I have not been given an appointment and was met with varying excuses. The doctor I spoke to on the phone yesterday told me my appointment for a scan was cancelled by the hospital. Shouldn't I have been told this? It is my health after all. I have decided on the basis of this practice to the CQC as they are endangering the health of patients by denying patients in person appointments which are necessary to assess patient health.

I think the people at this GP either hate their job, or they have never been taught how to talk and behave. It is a disgrace, when I have to put up with the sarcasm and jokes of a receptionist, who clearly does not seem to understand general English. After 15 years of being registered here, I will take steps to register to another GP. WHO EVER READS THIS, DO NOT GO HERE and waste your time, lose your respect and end up with nothing.

Literally the worst GP service I have ever experienced. Getting an appointment is based on ringing at 8:30am or 2:30pm, appointments are generally completely full within 5minutes. They have ignored documentation from my professional psychiatrist saying they can only accept NHS prescriptions despite this not being common practice. They have asked for blood tests for an ADHD prescription, the staff on the phone cannot provide the relevant information and there is no Doctors available for a phone conversation as they are "fully booked". Going in person is also useless and the staff seem to not really care, probably because they receive so many calls complaining. AVOID.

this practice is run by a bunch of clowns. Its basically impossible to get a GP appointment. No other practice is so difficult to deal with. They are masters in work avoidance. I had to move my entire family to another NHS practice to even get seen. AVOID!

Useless place. I have no other words for this "medical centre" no idea why they still have a licence. I was sent a text message by the practice to call and ask to speak to a GP regarding my test results. The receptionist is so rude and she makes it her job to deny patients access to a GP. When I finally did manage to get through she told me that I have to call every day, either 8am or 2pm to try make a telephone appointment and that I could not have an appointment for 6 weeks. Just go online and avoid the ignorant receptionist.

The nurse and health care assistant here are absolutely top notch. I can't speak highly enough of the care they provided for me the last few months that I've been coming here. They are patient, kind, made me feel super comfortable (as i have high anxiety it really makes a difference) and actually want to help rather than putting minimum effort and rushing you out. I can't thank them enough and by far the best gp nurse/ NHS health care assistant I've experienced. I can't comment on the Drs or receptionists here as I didnt see Drs and had minimal contact with reception.

Have just seen the loveliest nurse today 4/8/2022. She made me feel so calm and reassured me all through my appointment. This nurse is what a nurse should be like. Thank you.

Very Kind reception! Sorry I could not remember her name, but she was really nice and kind, even she double checked the test kit for me.

Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. I managed to get an appointment very quickly. I saw Dr Odunu today who was fantastic and very thorough. Shame she is not at the surgery permanently.

Dr. Ounnas was very helpful and attentive during my appointment. She has advised I got a blood test for my hormones and explained in extent what was to be measured in my blood, why it was measured and how that would relate to the current issue I am having. She was very informative in discussing, and quite open to my experience of the issue. She also signposted me to other free services that could help us in assessing the issue. I feel very confident to go about what was advised. I think her approach was incredibly critical in giving the sense of collaboration with patient and NHS for health.
