Prima bistro for classic English breakfasts from a true Englishman. The owner, Mr. Peter, is very nice, he likes to chat with every guest and recommend where to see besides the classic tourist destinations. He has had his bistro for 31 years. A nice meeting and a nice breakfast made from ingredients at the nearby market.

We are working nearby every weekend for the next 3 months and we came across this cafe to get breakfast. What a find. Not only great food sourced from Smithfields but Peter the owner is a lovely man and is a great source of local knowledge as well as a big football fan. Lovely tea and coffee too which keeps us going through our shifts. Looking forward to next weekend's breakfast.

A brilliant place, run by a lovely friendly man who will provide you with nice food and local knowledge. Clientele all have time for a chat. No music. Unpretentious. Calm. Very good homemade shortbread but it sells out quickly. This is the cafe version of a really good old man pub. Visit.

Brilliant experience with Peter. Food was spectacular, hot and very filling! (Meat from Smithfield's too!) The garlic sausage was a personal highlight. Tea and toast on demand. Did not disappoint in the slightest! I'll be back in a hurry :)

This is a true gem of a cafe, you can tell the owner, Peter, is keen to serve, fresh, good qaulity ingredients and they are properly cooked and well presented.. If you are looking for breakfast and in the area – this place is highly recommended.

Great host. Watford fan who loved nothing better on a Sunday morning than talking football and beer to me and my two mates down from Scotland for the weekend. Food was of the post-beer comfort variety. Tasted excellent. The bubble and squeak went down a treat. Even some old good beer guides to leaf through and reminisce about

Stumbled across this place today and grateful that I did. The owner, Peter, is a special guy with a warm spirit. Salt beef sandwich was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Met Peter today on my way to a casting in London. Definitely going to come back and bring my wife for a breakfast one day. Also learnt that Peter first set up shop there when my wife was 1 years old! Great place

Looking for a quick bite to eat I popped in and was pleasantly surprised. Good honest food with no pretensions. I had a jacket potato with an excellent sausage, cheese, butter and beans.Served by Peter the owner, a very amiable and chatty guy. Well worth a visit.

I haven't been for awhile, and wondered if it's still there. Great to see it is. Used to love it when I worked local. Peter is a lovely man, fondly remember talking football with him. Great breakfast. Need to pay a visit.
