Great little space, a tiny oasis in Islington with an interesting history behind it.

The smallest nature reserve in London. A small and shiny jewel. A must go.

I'd forgotten that this place existed until we stumbled across it and I suddenly had a vivid memory of lying on the ground examining a stag beetle as it walked brazenly over a rotting log after winning a fight. I was about 10 when I watched this and haven't seen another one since. I wish it was open for more than 2 hours each week, but the limited access adds to the magic of this place

This is a nice little wood tucked away in a residential area. Only open to the public for a few hours each week, but it feels authentically wild. Lots of birdlife.

I went there for the first time , it was ok nothing amazing, would be good if it was bigger and was in and out within 5mins that’s how small the place is
