😠 It’s disheartening to see our once open and shared park marred by unnecessary divisions. Enclosed by an unsightly wire fence and blazoned with jarring neon signs, a section now screams ‘People’s Space! No Dogs.’ This change isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a step back from the inclusive atmosphere... People often mention dogs,

Wish people would pick up their dog mess. The grass is like a minefield. The minority of iresponsible dog owners spoil it for everyone else. Lovely spaces for walking my little order dogs

Pleasant garden, which is clearly very popular with dog walkers. So if you are a dog owner, this is the place to meet up. Plenty of seating and nice to walk around.

A pretty garden in a Georgian setting, surrounded by fine buildings, this is an oasis where you can rest and chat to some friendly locals. Very popular with dog walkers

Lovely, well maintained park, a lot of flowers, many benches and nice playground, people enjoy exercising and other walking dogs. Noticed has been removed the benches from under trees area which was great places to stop the hot sun or heavy rain...sad but maybe there was some reasons . Hopefully it will appear back as at the lunchtime all benches are full so are never to many.

A great square for dogs and owners. Everyone very friendly and supportive. Would be good if local companies supported the volunteers who upkeep the gardens

Lovely park to walk my small dog and very friendly. I felt very safe with my dog being so small in this park.

It’s disheartening to see our once open and shared park marred by unnecessary divisions. Enclosed by an unsightly wire fence and blazoned with jarring neon signs, a section now screams ‘People’s Space! No Dogs.’ This change isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a step back from the inclusive atmosphere we’ve always cherished. My dog, who has been a beacon of hope and joy in hospices and has even saved lives, is now inexplicably deemed unwelcome in this area. It’s an arbitrary exclusion that feels uncomfortably misplaced, especially when there’s already a designated space for such restrictions mere moments away. Why impose this in our park too? It’s redundant and only serves to fragment what should be a united community space. Let’s not forget, by barring dogs, we’re inadvertently turning away people as well. These parks are for all of us, paws and feet alike. They belong to every being that steps into them, and that’s how it should remain.
