One of my favourite places to hang out in London! It's widely accessible, many bike stands outside. An absolute gem with beautiful plants and art installations. The conservatory has 1000s of plants in it and is an highlight of the Barbican. The inner open area is also super beautiful and relaxing, with good food choices. We once watched the movie "The Artist" with an orchestra and it was amazing. Always love to come back!

If you are lucky enough to live in Thomas More House, you get elevator service directly to the garden and a shortcut to the Barbican Centre. What's not to love?

Calm and peaceful with serenity based on the status of your mind and heart, of course. It’s pity that it is a private garden where you can have an opportunity to visit when you come with you resident friend.

A great building that must be visited after visiting the Museum of London.

The larger of the two Barbican gardens - the other being Speed Garden - and the only one that gives direct access (through some medieval-looking gates) to the flats in Thomas More House. -1 star for the south-eastern corner of it being flooded whenever it rains.

A complex of buildings built in the 1970s that transcends time and space. Forty years have passed. The Brutalist architectural style is still trendy and does not lag behind the times. The overall level planning is quite challenging to tradition and full of imagination. It is a rare classic of architectural art.

I really hope you visit this place as it is near the London Museum. I thought how great it would be if we had a facility like this in our country too. There is also a movie theater in the building. Everything was good, but you might get a little lost when you leave.
