Rating the ANTEPLILER KUNEFE, As it’s part of the restaurant, I’ll write my review here. I went at a busy time and the staff did not know how to manage customers, I ordered kunefe with ice cream and a Turkish tea. Firstly the cutlery and napkins came, then the kunefe, and that was it. It was very difficult to get staff to attend. They would avoid eye contact in case you asked for anything. After about 10mins finally I managed to grab a staff members attention, they then brought the ice cream and Turkish tea.. The ice cream was horrendous, after one taste, I left it. The kunefe & tea were mediocre. This place has gone down hill.. when it first opened it was lovely; the quality, taste and management. On this visit 27th August 2023, my perception of this place changed. I found the staff to be rude, as I was on my own, and a family of 4 sat on the table next to me, they where from a different ethnic background and wanted to try kunefe for the first time, they wanted to order one to begin with, but they where forced to order 2, as the server said you can’t order one. What does this say about the Turkish hospitality, I observed the family to be disappointed and didn’t finish both kunefes. However when I went to pay, I told the lady at the till about the ice cream, she was like it’s fine.. and disregarded my comments and acted like there was nothing wrong. I didn’t dispute the money as I believe the prices are fair, But this place could do with some customer service training and change their Turkish ice cream supplier.

I have rarely been to a Turkish restaurant that doesn't overcook their meat, it's not the case here. The skewers were juicy and had the perfect amount of chew. I definitely recommend the adana kebab! It was so so good!

Went to this place after a recommendation. Place was very busy at dinner time. We were lucky to find a table for 5. First impression walking in is really good. Unfortunately, that's where is starts to go downwards. The service is poor at best, it took then a while for the waitress to come over and take our order. She could hardly speak English, which would not matter if she could take the order right, unfortunately she missed few things, and we had to ask again and again to get them. Also, there are minor details in service that makes a big difference which they were lacking, in the end we had to help ourself to cutleries, napkins, sugar for tea etc. I understand they are busy but at least plan for it. There is definitely not enough waiting staff, and of the ones that are there, they are not up to standard unfortunately. We ordered the big platter for 4-5 people, the portion was good, a bit overpriced even considering location in all honesty. The food was standard, really nothing special at all. I've had Turkish food all over, and this was far less tasty then it is hyped up to be, and well below my expectation. The meat quality is okay, not succelent, and juicy like some restaurants, the starters were good quality, again nothing special. The humous was great especially. I'm not sure why people rate this place do highly, disappointing service and food, a lot of other reviews mention the same. For similar buget or less, there are far better Turkish restaurants all over London. This one I would regretfully not recommend. Not even worth a try unfortunately.

I recently visited Antepliler restaurant on Green Lanes to treat my friend to what I believe is the best Turkish food in London. I hadn't been to Green Lanes in over 6 years, but I wanted to make the effort for my friend. When the waiter came to take our order, I inquired about the spinach dish for an explanation. However, he responded with an unhelpful attitude, simply saying it's just spinach and raising his hand dismissively. We ate our meal, and when there was some food left over, I asked for it to be packed in boxes. Despite my insistence, they refused to do it and would only provide a take away box. Throughout the experience, the staff displayed unprofessional behavior and an excessive ego. While the food was delicious, the overall experience was marred by their attitude. I can't rate it more than 2 stars based on this genuine experience.

The food was delicious! First time trying this after a recommendation. The seating was traditional, low tables and chairs. We got the Kunefe £6. Really nice but very sweet, would be perfect with a tea (non sweet). Issue was really with the service. We ordered three teas, half way through having eaten the food we still did not have our teas. The waitress was more concerned on her phone than looking towards the attention of the customers. When we cancelled our teas, the waitress was still on her phone. She didn’t at all Seem bothered. We got some bottles of water instead for £1.50 each. #woodgreen #greenlanea #kunefe #instgramblogger #turkishfood #dessert

Good restaurant to enjoy authentic Turkish food. With many Turkish restaurants placed next to each other in the area Antepliler shines out of its competitors just for their deserts. The very best kunefe and Baklava you will probably find in London… (my wife is Turkish so I know what I am talking about…) The food is fresh and tasty. The prices seems to have gone up but I suppose that it’s is happening everywhere. I have to admit that I am not a fan of the layout of the restaurant’s tables. Not beautiful as a restaurant but defiantly the most intelligent way to place tables to make the most of it.

The best Turkish in town! My friends and I rocked up and were pleasantly greeted by the staff, we were led to our table where we had a selection of delicious bread and salad which were both of a cracking standard. For our main we had a sharing platter that defeated us, for w very reasonable price we shared a selection of chicken and lamb both of various styles, I will most certainly be back to enjoy the free Turkish tea at the end.

Visited Antepliler Doner - ordered the Regular Iskander what can I say… what an absolute delight that was!! Cleanest cut lamb doner I have EVER had! I polished the entire plate! Wasn’t greasy at all it felt fresh and healthy-ish even though it is a very filling and hearty meal but the little chilli’s on the side helps to burn down the fat. Definitely going to be a regular for when I crave doner! Service 7/10 Food 9/10 Price - £12.90

The service started off bad since we walked in and waited for somebody to attend to us. Nobody was welcoming or attentive at the time and a rude waiter led us to our table. The service nearer to the end was much better, with a really talkative man named Mustafa. As for food, we went for the mixed grill platter with various meats and rice/bulgur. Sadly, the bulgur was just boiled in water with no flavour. The meat tasted nice but I wish there was more meat on the chops and wings it rather than just skinny pieces of meat and bone. The restaurant itself was quite busy for 9pm surprisingly. Awkward seating arrangement and very loud overall. Unfortunately I don't think I would be coming back to eat dinner here again; as the food is nothing special. It was a little disappointing, especially since we drove far to come here from the South aswell. This restaurant unfortunately did not meet up to my expectations.

The drive here from West London was atrocious. It took about 1.5 hours. The same on the way back. I would never travel this far again for average Turkish food. I don't know if it was just me, but everything tasted like it had too much salt. The kebab and chicken both tasted overly salty. Service was generally mediocre at best. Although the waitresses were polite, however they kept forgetting things we requested like sauces and salad. The waiter whom took our order, misunderstood my order and brought me a dish that i did not order. One of the waitresses did not understand English and gave me a protion of chips instead of switching them with bulgur rice in my mains. They also came way before my mains. The service was all over the place. We had to keep flagging staff throughout our meal. The food was fresh and portions were large. The restaurant was extremely busy and on the loud side. Not really my kind of place.

Can’t fault it. The food is all very tasty and the portions are huge. The staff were very friendly and attentive, I had food envy all night watching all the amazing looking dishes they were bringing out. Would definitely recommend.

You will find authentic Turkish food here 😋 Staff is courteous and service is quick. Though I believe food is a bit on costlier side. That said, they also have an attached desserts shop and they offer one of the most delicious Turkish desserts here, a must try!!

Really nice staff. We took 3 kebabs with fried meat, tea and a glass of milk. Simple and really tasty. The kebab came with small sauces and fries. Highly recommend !

Great service but over priced. Food was ok. Lamb shank was melt in mouth but lacked sauce and flavour. Antep lamachun lacked seasoning. Ribs were dry and lacked flavour. Kunefe with clotted cream was great - I’d be back for that!!

We ordered £60 mixed grill and were absolutely disappointed! Processed meat?!? Instead of Lamb shish we received thinly sliced lamb (?!) which was overcooked anyway! I don’t even want to talk about doner which was inedible!!! An absolute joke! Don’t waste you time and money ordering from them!!! Avoid avoid!!!

Bustling as ever, great food swiftly served. Our waiter who we've had before is lovely with the kids and brings them rice pudding and lollipops. Always a great experience and our favourite on green lanes!

Went there for a dinner with our friends and it was amazing! The food was delicious especially lahmacun and mixed kebap. Also I definitely recommend you try Kunefe after dinner. The portions were enough to share so you can easily try more than one different type of food with your friends. If you want to try Turkish cuisine in London this is the right place.

I ordered a meat set. I was able to eat many types of food there. The meat platter was especially delicious. But, I felt a little expensive. Although the price is a little high, I would like to go there again.

Nice ambience, attentive staff and amazing Kuneffe. Only critic the portion size for the small chicken Shiah are really small as can be seen from the picture, £13 for 5 pieces of chicken feels a bit steep. The Kuneffe was absolutely great, the restaurant is big and they have dedicated shops for Baclava, Kuneffe so they are definitely doing something right.

Fantastic way to enjoy Turkish food, probably the only one who actually make fresh kunafeh on the spot Delicious food Most visit on the sweet shop next door!

Lahmacun was good. We ordered hummus with lamb. The hummus itself was good but the lamb wasn’t. Sausages were fine. I regretted ordering aubergine yogurt as it tasted just like the cucumber yogurt they serve for free. Kebab with bread, herbs, tomato sauce and butter burgle and yogurt was a really delicious dish. Turkish tea was good. The kunafa was amazing. Good staff, medium-high prices.

Lovely restaurant, we ordered 2 starters (aubergine and feta like kebab, and the raw cured meat) 2 mains (chicken wings and ribs) and 2 desserts (pistachio cake and the kunafe) oh and a side of lamachun. The food came out almost instantaneously and service was fantastic. The food was really nice just one plate came out which lacked seasoning.

After visiting the Turkish restaurant, I can say the experience was amazing. The food was delicious. I went with my college friends, which made the evening even more special. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed exquisite dishes. I would recommend trying the lamb ribs and the rice pudding; they were particularly delightful choices during my visit. Although I must admit the cost was a bit high, the portions were generous, making the investment worthwhile. Additionally, my Turkish friends were with us and explained the dishes, adding a cultural touch to the experience. Overall, it was an excellent day that I will remember fondly.
