1 star is to much to be honest! the price is amazing... its cheap! but the room service is awful! the breakfast disgusting, the rooms are really small, the pictures look a lot better than what it is, the floor was dirty when i came and dirty when i left (never cleaned) wc and shower like in caravan, everything is falling apart, just horrible! oh well it was the first and the last time there!! I'd rather pay the double for a normal hotel next time!!!!

Do not come here. Yes it is cheap but it is absolutely not worth it. The rooms are dirty and a lot of things are broken. The heating was on high the whole day, you can’t turn it off and the windows are so old and broken, that even though they are closed it is extremely cold in the room and there is a constant draft. Bathroom is an absolut nightmare, water not running properly. It smells horrendous in all of the „hotel“ and the breakfast is a joke. Plus all of the dishes on the table are dirty and the smell in the breakfast room lets your hunger dissolve anyway.

Grubby, tiny rooms! Next door same hotel, saw several rooms before I 'accepted' one (nowhere else to stay). Triple room, meant to be a double and a single, was 3 singles in a tiny room. Next room in the basement - you could taste the damp when he opened the door! 3rd room slightly bigger, double & single, tiny wobbly wardrobe, not attached, ready to fall on someone. Tiny bathroom - toilet practically in the shower!!! Couldn't shut the door when using the toilet (I'm 6'2). Uneven floor, grubby carpet, didn't look hoovered. Very low ceiling and a dodgy looking tube light hanging! Bed horrible, uncomfortable. Walls must be thin - could clearly hear someone chucking up all the next morning! Didn't even consider checking the breakfast!!! Obviously won't be staying again - would've been disappointed at £60 but obvs get away with £100 because London tax. Rank.

I have never seen such a disgusting hotel in my life. The reception staff stunk and he was very rude. He pretended/insisted that the room hadn't been prepaid for even though it had been arranged through an agency. When we called the agency in front of him and threatened to leave he suddenly MYSTERIOUSLY was able to find record of the payment. Dodgy! The room carpet looked like it had never been hoovered before and was peeling away from the floor. The bathroom was some kind of raised closet with a door that couldn't close and some nasty folded screen door from the 50s. It was yellow and stained everywhere. The duvet had clearly never been washed ever and the cover had old stains on it.

It's kind of late to write a review when I had stayed in the hotel (if at all I can call it) from 21-26 June 2016 during my first solo trip to London to present a paper in a conference. The experience of staying in the hotel was awful for several reasons. 1. I booked my reservation for 5 nights before my travel through Expedia and got a cancellation email while I was on my way to the airport. I panicked. I called up the hotel desk and they said they would give me the exact room with the same price. I realised much later that they didn't want to give commission to Expedia at the cost of causing inconvenience to the client. 2. My Credit card didn't work. I requested for a fund transfer to their bank account. Since I was busy with my conference for the next two days, I requested for some time. But the staff, specifically a man in his thirties, in the middle of the night almost manhandled me, denied me access to my room, asked me to submit my passport and some cash in order to continue with the service. I was dead scared. I could not sleep at all. I called a new found friend, herself a student in one of the universities and borrowed 486 GBP cash. I came back to the hotel, gave them all the cash, retrieve y passport and cash. And promised to myself to never come back to the hotel. 3. The room, shower, everything was tiny and inconvenient. I was late by 5 minutes and I missed my breakfast both days. The man who almost manhandled me for the delay in payment when I had sought their approval and was supposed to stay two more days seemed drunk and neurotic. I still remember his big red eyes when he screamed at me in the middle of the night. it was traumatic. He knew that I was travelling from India alone for the first time to London and don't have friends or acquaintance there. I suggest everyone not to stay in this tiny shabby and unsafe hotel. Rather pay a little extra and enjoy your stay.

It was good and clean, but for some reason when they cleaned the room they stole/took our coffee packets and have no clue why. No other complaints though it was good

Unsanitary and unsafe. Room was filthy, front door to hotel was left open at times and bikes were left blocking fire escape routes. Fire alarm handled appallingly by staff who did not appear to know what they were doing.

Great location. Service was fine. The room has obviously been 'cleaned' but if you looked properly, the sink was mouldy, there were splatters on the wall, the headboard was full of dust. The TV didn't work. There wasn't any coffee in the coffee facility in the room. The window of my room faced directly onto the dining area. The bathroom, where to start, it was like stepping into a caravan bathroom. I actually laid towels onto the bed because I wasn't sure what was in there. I honestly don't expect much, but the basics weren't even there.

Hotel smelt awful, small dingy room, very unclean, mouldy shower, sticky carpet, uncomfortable bed...I could go on!! Get it was OK priced for London however no standards at all unsure how it's rated 2 stars. Didn't risk staying for breakfast, got out as quick as I could!

Excellent location. Price/performance? You get what you pay for: small room that could use a touch up, cramped bathroom, mediocre breakfast, but... close to St. Pancras, British Museum, several tube stations, etc. Can't beat that.

Stayed for one night , dirty place , dirty room . No tea coffee in room , bed awful , curtains hanging off window full of dust . Breakfast , what can I say no tongs handle food so everyone can touch bread / croissants etc loose teabags not wrapped individually . Not great hygiene .Wouldn't even give 1 star to be honest

This hotel is OK if you just want to sleep there and not spend much time there other than that wouldn't reccomend it no friendly welcome bathroom was tiny and smelt terrible and toilet leaks on to the floor everytime you use it. Good location 5 mins wall from tube station and some lovely restaurants cafes and bars nearby

No hot water, dust everywhere, dirty floors, and terrible customer service. Would rather sleep on the streets of London then stay here again

Checked in and booked out within half an hour. It is disgusting! Was looking for something cheap and cheerful but no way was it cheerful. Bed had 3 sheets on bottom which were all covered in bodily fluid! There was also chewing gum stuck to the windowsil which was about the bed head.
