Hygiene does not make part of their vocabulary, everything was very dirty and smelly, far from feeling comfortable. The rooms and the hotel look nothing like the pictures. My friend did not shower there as we were so disgusted and found another solution to wash and clean ourselves. Iβ€˜m surprised this Hotel still exists. Utterly disgusting.

The place is cheap and located in a very attractive spot. The service was kind and contact with them was enjoyable. The hotel service did their best - appreciate it. That begin said, time spent there was a nightmare! Bedbugs everywhere. My friend ended up all swollen and bitten. It was dirty and smelly. The hotel, if you dare to call it so, urgently requires overhaul. God save the Queen if she was to sleep in there...

My girlfriend booked this for my birthday we stayed there last night, We got given room 120 which was an absolute state and was clearly renovated from a staff room, it had kitchen sides and a glass ceiling which when my girlfriend went to the toilet she opened the window and could see straight down into the room, there was a glass window on our room door so there was no privacy whatsoever, The receptionist is not helpful in the slightest, really rude, we were eventually moved to 119 where there was damp on the walls and ceilings, and it was a twin bed room but we were relieved that we had privacy (it was weird how excited we were to sleep in a room with damp) if anyone reads this and still for some reason decides to go, if you are given room 120 feel free to take a look and come back on here to let people be aware of your room 120 experience. The receptionist said its a good room

This is the worst hotel I ever seen In my life. I have to wait about 1 and a half hour for the reception to arrive and the room to be cleaned. Funny thing is the room is not even cleaned. There are a family of some kind of bug flying around the room. I never thought there is a place like this in the city London.

The worst "hotel" experience yet. I would not recommend anyone at all to stay here. We came to the check in and the lady wanted us to pay again even though i already pre payed. We felt scared. We got our room on the top floor and it smelled like poop. We looked in the toilet and there was a non pleasant surprice there. The floor was broken and leaned a lot so it was hard to stay balanced and i am not overeacting. Its big stains on the curtains which looks like vomit. Its white stains on the blankets. The cheets were very dirty. The room was probably not cleaned in a very long time. The beds had BLOOD stains on. We arrieved late in the evening so we had no chance to look for another place. We slept with our clothes on and bags under the pillows. Never again.

The worst hotel in my life. When you decide to choose this hotel think twice because they do not do money back. Formally you will receive bank check, but you can't get cash without account in Lloyds bank :(

The price sticker on the door (Β£1.40) symbolises the price that should be paid for the room. If you stay here, take your own cleaning kit as its dirty and a duvet as the room was freezing with no heating and a couple of sheets on the bed. It's very unfortunate that the hotel didn't respond to my email of complaint......although, I honestly don't think they are bothered.

very Very poor hygiene offered here, the toilets smell and are dirty. Since the same reviews were given a few years ago already, likely no change will happen anytime soon. Shouldn't be called a hotel. Nice staff and location, otherwise unbelievable how much is charged for what you get in return.

Worst hotel I've ever been to! Dirty, but really really really dirty. Dust everywhere, the walls are stained, birds feathers in the room...Noisy, awful bathrooms, no hot water... The staff was really nice..that's the only good point.

AVOID at all costs! Shawshank was more inviting! Terrible customer service and rooms were smelly and too small. The third parties are horrible to book through because the terrible communication is even harder!

Terrible! Customer Service was bad, I tried calling and emailing requesting a later check in! The rooms were small and very old. I would never stay here again!

It's possibly the worst place I've ever stayed in throughout the whole world. So many issues but top 3 It was over 30c in the room with no fan Toilet seat not attached to the bowl Towels were hand towels not body towels.

Perfect location. Our shower had only hot (extremely hot) water. They could not solve the problem, as it was Sunday night. We payed for separate bathroom but had to use the shared one. We wanted to ask for compensation but they suggested us to write about it to Booking. We will.

Probably the worst experience I've had in a hotel. The couple that seem to run it and friendly but quite incompetent or do not care enough to maintain it. Non smoking room stank of smoke. Taps would fill the sink and even a cigarette butt came back up out of the sink. Gross. It drained very slowly so couldn't use the taps for more than 30 seconds. Similar for the shower. 5 minute shower was the max you could do or water would overflow into the "rest" of the bathroom( it being so tiny) Very grimy and unclean. I asked for a hand towel for the bathroom. To which she said they don't offer them. They apparently offered bath sheets which she called big towels. But that might have been the tiny regular ones I had already of which she didn't supply after asking. One toilet roll for my entire duration. Nothing ever replaced. Even when I asked for a body wash of which they original offer one tiny sachet.. Still nothing. Beds were pretty uncomfortable. Basic metal frame. Too big for the mattress. The hall way was dirty. Carpet all torn up. All for way too high of a price. The only redeemable feature was its location. Which is a shame because if they hired an extra staff member and redecorated the entire place if could be a good little hotel.

    - It's been quiet during my 1-night stay. Calm area, calm streets, fresh air. Plenty near-by, including parks & cool 5-star hotels. - Staff seem polite & open to assist. - There is the price vs. the rooms, but it's Central London & I booked on the arrival day. - Shower is best in the morning. - NO bedbugs, just to confirm, despite the bedbug wave in Paris & possibly in this type of old buildings.

Cheap & cheerful, what do you want to expect for this price in London city centre? Beds were clean. Room was basic. Bathroom could do with a right good clean & a lot of bleach in toilet and the shower cubicle. But, at this price- you can’t complain. If you don’t like it, upgrade to a Holiday Inn or Travel Lodge etc.

Although I was shocked by this hotels appearance. The staff are pleasant. The hotel is in need of some renovations. You do have to remember that this is a 2-star hotel with 2-star facilities. The location of this hotel is great. After a very short walk you're on Oxford Street, Marble Arch tube station or Hyde Park. Everything is a very short walk away with everything you could need in your local vicinity.

Hygiene is a word that does not exist in this place. The mattresses are stained with blood and moisture. Please do not go there!!!
