Wonderful authentic Vietnamese food, possibly the best in south London. Also lovely staff. A local holy grail. Do make sure to check opening times and book as it gets busy.

Best Vietnamese food I've ever had in London! Good customer service without being over the top, nice & relaxing atmosphere. I booked and went in just before 6pm on Wednesday. It wasn't busy at that time and the food came fast. Order a starter or side dish on top of your main when hungry. It's definitely a local gem, highly recommended :)

Good vegan options although some mislabelling on the menu. Not a problem as the staff were knowledgable and helpful. Service was friendly and trilingual (English, Cantonese, and Vietnamese). Menu has all the Vietnamese classics, and portions were generous. Very accommodating to children.

Pros: 1. Very delicious food, Authentic, best Vietnamese restaurant in London. 2. Very quick. 3. Generous potion. 4. All the dishes are good. You should try them all. Cons: 1. Small restaurant so sometimes there are long queues outside, especially weekends, you can’t book and they will just take walk-in. 2. Changing staff all the time so you just have to ignore the unprofessional from new staffs sometimes. 3. Don’t do take away food, I don’t know why but the taste is only 40% - 50% of what you get when you eat in. In conclusion, dine in, week days, avoiding peak time, you will have the best experience.

The expansion of this family restaurant sets the same excellent standards. You definitely need a reservation. Portions are generous and the service is so kind. Food quality is exceptional.

One of the best Vietnam restaurant in London or maybe in the world. The bbq dishes are exceptional! Pho is good, not outstanding. Fried rice and starters are all really nice! Bah Mi is the best I had in a long time. I wish I can have it everyday. Really glad I found this place. The only downside is this place is far from any station, so not very easy to get to!

I recently dined at this restaurant for the fifth time, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. Each visit, we made it a point to order different dishes, and without fail, every single one was absolutely delightful. The flavors were rich and satisfying, leaving us craving for more. It's safe to say that the experience was completely worth it! I'm already eagerly looking forward to my next visit!

Wonderful food. Tried the pig skin summer rolls that were fab! Shared lovely starters and then had a huge bowl of noodles and beef. The mango salad was amazing! Probably didn’t need the starters but all fab!

Wow and amazing. Food was excellent, I’ve had some really good Vietnamese, but this is a new level. All the foods we ordered were delicious and present very well using fresh ingredients. The pho has been one of the best we’ve had the soup base was heavenly. The beef tender mmm mmm, and the ingredients used so so fresh ! The other main which is a fried spring roll with rice vermicelli, grilled pork was also out of this world. The charcoal taste of the pork, combined with the sauce and fresh ingredients again mmm mmm I highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to go back to try other dishes. It’s a smallish restaurant and queues do form so do try to book in advance.

The food were so great. The beef in the pho were very soft, soup is delicious too. Spring rolls with sauce are also recommended!

Incredible dinner and experience. The service was really good, quick, attentive and super friendly. The food was so delicious! Every dish was so flavourful and tasty. I look forward to the next visit and to explore more dishes on the menu. Recommend to get a few dishes to share as you want to try a bit of everything! It is very good value for money.

Excellent location for Vietnamese fare just off the high street. Tables are well spaced so you don't feel cramped. Menu gives a good description of what is on offer. Once your order is taken, service is prompt and your food arrives fresh, aromatic and piping hot. 2 types of Vietnamese beer is available.. Friendly honest service. Quality of produce is excellent. I will most certainly be back for more.

A little piece of Southeast Asia in Southeast London! Varied menu including plates for vegetarians, and dishes with a range of chili heat for those of the faint of tonugue. You'll find a reasonably priced menu with big servings and delicious authentic flavours. See my pic of the prawn noodle bowl - -could not finish it! The staff are super friendly and pleasant, something I'm finding less and less of these days so appreciate the good service. Can't wait to return.

My favourite dish here is mini cake pancake which has coconut favour. Service is ok, but deep fried chicken with sweet potato has no favour at all, and the price ( without service charge) is quite expensive compared to other Vietnamese in area.

Came a couple of weeks ago and the bun bo hue tasted diluted. The colour of the broth looked pale and not as vibrant. My bowl was weirdly warm compared to others on the table as it is usually hot. Been loads of times before and never had a bad experience.

Another incredible Vietnamese food spot in the local area. A choice I don’t regret is my lamb steak with hai-nam rice and mixed veggies. Perfectly marinated lamb that was juicy and chewy. Great portion of meat that was well complimented by the crunchy salad. My mango sago + taro drink was very sweet and the size of it was relatively small which is a bit sad, considering the price. Other than that, I’m satisfied with the service we received and would be more than happy to come back here again.

Eat Me Vietnam is a great small restaurant with delicious food. We had a number of dishes and all were lip-smackingly good. I will definitely visit again. Pre-booking is recommended as it is a small place. Fried Seabass was delicious and full of flavour on its own. The sauce was even tastier. Prawn pancakes was a unique dish but served with lots of salad and greens. Bbq ribs were very delicious too, just the right level of spice and chilli, tangy, flavours.

We booked this Vietnamese restaurant for 6 people for lunch, but unfortunately only 5 turned up for dinner. Thankfully the staff were very understanding and accommodating. The food was very tasty with large portion sizes. The menu had good variety including vegetarian and meat starters, Pho and Grill. Unfortunately there wasn't much choice in dessert although we were too full to try it. There was plenty of space for our group as well as other guests and the restaurant looked modern with Vietnamese elements in the artwork and furniture.

Love this place. Authentic and delicious food and great service always although it is a busy restaurant. In my opinion on the best Vietnamese restaurant in London. There's no need to travel central and overspend on average quality food when your neighborhood offers top-notch quality and exceptional service. #shoplocalam #shoplocal #greatrestaurant #alexandmatteoestateagents #deptford #surreyquays

We had a fantastic dinner experience tonight at this little gem 💎 The staff were so friendly and helpful. The portions of the food were very generous and the quality I would say it’s top standard comparing to other Vietnamese restaurants around London - authentic and marinated deeply into our heart ❤️ 😝 We loved the quails and lamb steak, they were superb, extremely tasty 😍 (Will definitely come back very soon because we will be craving for them!!!) The pho and other dishes were delicious too, and the steamed rice rolls were very soft and silky 🤩 Prices are reasonable too🫰🏻 Will definitely recommend all my friends to come and try out if they haven’t been here before 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Easy to find location, food was excellent, service attentive, reasonably priced. Only thing is need a bit of attention to the toilet facility. All in all, a good restaurant to try if you never been. Get the rare beef pho, soup base was delish.

Regular visitor to EV - fantastically friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable, and top notch food. The lamb steak is a firm favourite amongst the group, but we've not had a single dish we dislike. Highly recommend the spring rolls, crispy squid, and morning glory veggies, too. Excellent value - my fave Vietnamese spot in London.

My niece is a very picky eater, she only eats the food my sister and I cook but today I was very surprised because she enjoyed the food here and she said it was the first time I ate Vietnamese food so delicious. Our family has tried many Vietnamese restaurants in London, but this is the first time we've found it so delicious. There's nothing we can criticize, from the way the staff serves to the friendliness of the restaurant owner.

Nice cosy authentic and independent vietnamese restaurant. The food was abundant and tasty even though I would have liked more flavour to my mixed pho personally.. the grilled chicken with rice was nice too but also lacked the extra kick.. Still happy with what I had though! Service was really efficient and fast.. all the waitresses had a nice smile too. Nice decor and strongly recommended as an independent family run business.. I hope it keeps staying authentic and manages to squeeze a couple of extra tables inside.. will come back to try the rest of the dishes!

Really brilliant, authentic Vietnamese food at this amazing restaurant. I have lived in Vietnam and holidayed there many times and the food at this place is as good as anything I have eaten in Vietnam. Top marks!
