Picture? Or Phone? Picture? Phone? Come on White Cube, you can afford to print up the exhibition text and stick it on the wall. The first thing that greets you at White Cube Gallery is a sign inviting you to look up the exhibition and even the titles of the individuals works... on your phone. I look at my blasted phone far too much anyway, a gallery should be a haven, a place for a moment of contemplation, discovery, instead we were asked to look at our phones between the exhibits while bumping into people also looking down at their phones. It was completely distracting and wrong and I got sucked in. Then as I had my phone in my hand I noticed the really annoying light reflections on the glass (non-reflective glass would have been a better curatorial choice) and took some photos of that! Naughty me, but I am obviously addicted and the fact that I was made to take out my phone instead of leaving it in my pocket, pulled me into the dark side. Could do better, both me and the gallery.

Amazing space and always live how the exhibitions are showcased in this place. Antony Gormley was on during my visit and the sculptures were exquisite.

Artist led gallery in Bermondsey featuring a changing exhibition of contemporary artists. Entrance is free and they have a monthly salon and publications for sale along with the artworks themselves.

This gallery is a huge space that consistently houses amazing exhibitions that are frequently immersive and dramatic. The current Antony Gormley sculpture show is no exception. Don’t miss the illuminating video that explains the process behind how each piece is constructed and the book shop has a brilliant selection of art books too.

I love this place! White Cube in Bermondsey, captivates with its thought-provoking exhibitions and immaculate presentation. The gallery changes through every exhibition where visitors can enjoy ( for free) the works of contemporary artists and immerse themselves into their worlds. The area is also full of lovely cafes and restaurants.

Appointments were made online and it was very organised because only a limited amount of people were allowed inside in batches. The place was bigger than I expected. All clean whites and lines. It was very clean and they had multiple hand sanitiser stations. Staff were great and accommodating! The exhibit itself was interesting and had variety. Very creative artist and they have a bookstore in-house with a number of book choices related to art.

The booking process was really straight forward. The staff were lovely. They hung back but were there to answer questions. The space itself is lovely and open.

I visited the White Cube for Anselm Kiefer’s Finnegan’s Wake exhibition - this was superb! The gallery space lends itself perfectly to large installations. Staff are friendly & approachable. The gallery is easy to get to & minutes away from very good coffee shops.

The rooms are wonderful and the three artists displayed were all so different yet fit together perfectly. A good mix of style. It was free, which was great!

I didn’t know it was free to visit, but just realised and loved visiting this gallery. The display composition was very minimalistic and clean, with a great exhibition going on at the time. 100% a visit for at least half an hour

Excellent contemporary art gallery who show some of the most dynamic and interesting artists today. It also seems to be a place where people like to constantly pose for social network photos as the space itself is so dramatic! But try to focus on the art and not another pouting teenager and you’ll be much more rewarded!

Have already visited this gallery twice to view Anselm Kiefer exhibitions and definitely not been disappointed for the effort. Excellent neutral space to see even very large and expansive exhibits, with controlled lighting to suit. Will be visiting again for sure, with plans in place to see the current exhibition of Julie Mehretu's work.

Loved the recent exhibition! The artists they get in are really great, very talented. Had a nice peruse through the bookshop which was nice. Overall, great art venue.

Very nice Noguchi exhibition. Quite crowded on the last day for such a small exhibition. By small I mean the variety of exhibits, not the size of the exhibition itself.

Extremely well hidden art gallery (the front looks like a loading bay!) Inside, some amazing gallery space but wasn't so impressed by the exhibits.

i really like it. quiet, no rush, simple gallery in a decent location. staff are nice, not that you ever really need them for anything. it's mainly obnoxious rich people contemporary art...but that's part of the fun

Beautiful exhibition done by Julie Mehretu. Very small gallery but stunning work, she manipulated the space very well, stayed there for a few hours just sketching and doodling from her work.

Antony Gomley Body Politic exhibition. First time inside the white cube. Great exhibition and area. Hopefully many more to see in the future. The best thing in the amount of cage and restaurants just outside to experience in the area.

It's smaller than I expected. I was in and out within 30 mins or less. It has a cute little book store and a great white clean vibes. Lovely painting.

This free-to-visit art gallery exhibits very interesting artists. This time, it was a Kenyan painter and a Somalian sculptor; both artists explore universal subjects such as death, parenthood and social media pressure.

I went with the student's to see what's on and let them practice their drawing skills. I've got to say that proportionally the picture and sculptures shown are enough for the available space inside it. I found particularly interesting the videography work about the artist: where she lives and how she creates on his statues to get to know her art better. It was really meaningful tough. It's a nice place, peaceful and quiet that allows to get into artist's works so I recommend to see any of the arts contained within.

Great location, easy access into the building, the exhibition was a little creepy but still had a good walk through to look around the odd bits, lots of choice of food located around the area Toilets are available just by the entrance

Saw an amazing art installation here by Anselm Kiefer. It was huge and breathtaking. We are so lucky in London to have this free gallery.

Always great to visit White Cube Bermondsey. Looks more lake a museum than an art gallery. Good shows, contemporary art and great staff.

Extremely curious and thoughtful exhibitions. Always interesting and varied. Very 'modern art', normally with very large installations in its huge white spaces. Completely free, so we always take a look.

Interesting design with wide open wide spaces but the exhibition was weird - sewing machines going on and off and bat pictures.

Great space with a great roster of artists. I have seen some of my favourite exhibitions in White Cube Bermondsey and generally try and visit each one at least once.
