I love this place - the food is incredible and the service is great. My favourite thing about this place though is the music and the underwater theme, but keep in mind is that it gets pretty loud later at night so difficult to have a conversation across the table. But the vibe was so good that it didn’t matter (my photos don’t even do it any justice)! Quite expensive to go regularly, but definitely worth it for a special occasion.

Very disappointed by this place. I had high expectations but the prices are not high...they are INSANE! Do not expect to eat there at all as the portions are very small and the atmosphere is very noisy. The music is loud and we had a reservation at a specific time and we sat with more than half an hour delay. I will never come back here!!!!! Only positive thing: the staff is amazing, nice and friendly, super helpful!

Genuinely one of my favourite high end restaurants! AMAZING food…great entertainment and very good atmosphere. Food is not halal but they have vegetarian and fish options available and they do serve mocktail as well as cocktails and alcohol here. Be aware that food arrives as it is cooked so there is no order as to how the food comes out. There is limited parking around the area so please bare that in mind if you plan to drive, otherwise Uber is a good alternative. The interior is so elegantly designed and the staff are welcoming (most of the time), there is a cloak room for your coats and items, just ask a waiter! The speedy wait time on food is definitely a plus! I highly recommend this restaurant, although please be advised it does get much louder in the evening after 10.30 so not very ideal after this point if you want to have serious conversations. Also note they have a reduced menu after 11.30pm. Fridays and Saturdays are very busy so I have noticed the quality of service drops a bit in comparison to the other days and I have encountered unfriendly stuff at the door especially during my last visit hence the rating. I found this upsetting because as I mentioned previously it is one of my favourite food places and appreciate the quality of food served. They have a live band/DJ in the evenings.

Fabulous food. Had premium tasting menu which was very filling in its entirety. Flavourful. Party ambience. Friendly and ever present team. Great DJ on the floor. Only thing is booked through opentable for the tasting menu which required upfront payment in full to secure booking which included all fees, VAT and service but at the end of the meal they tried to double charge service on top of the entire bill we already paid- important to point this out and remove. The service charge is 14.5%.

This London venue is popular for good reason. The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend indulging in the cheesecake for dessert.

Walked in around 7:30 pm and it was packed but they managed to find me a corner table next to the bar. Great ambiance. Food was great! Enjoyed the salt and pepper prawns, pork belly skewer, prawn tempura, and grilled sea bass. Will come back again.

Nice food but portion sizes were rather small for the price of the dish, good atmosphere (if you like loud music). I have booked the table weeks in advance and notified the restaurant that is my friend’s birthday. Just to confirm the day before I called and I’ve been told they have it noted. Unfortunately on the day nothing happened at all which was very disappointing. Also the restaurant needs to improve on their customer service which is below standard considering very high prices.

We had our New Year’s Eve dinner there and the hostess was stunning! The food looked beautiful! It tasted great as well. From the moment we entered we were treated very well and welcomed. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the waiter took good care of us. You get what you pay for.

I read a lot about this place & was really excited to try it out while spending a week in London- and honestly it wasn’t all that as people described:/ The food was mediocre- everything was fresh- but a little tasteless- I was expecting the wow taste buds to appear- but they were just ok. (And overpriced for the quality- sorry) The gyoza with truffle was unique & I liked it only because of truffle. The Desserts were good. The presentation was beautiful! Done of the plates were very cool! The music and the decor is what saved the place for me & brought it to 4 stars. It was amazing- it set trendy, sexy and fun vibe. I would return for just drinks at the bar & the atmosphere- not the food.

Lucky enough to be a guest here and what a wonderful experience. The ambiance is relaxed with the well dressed staff being knowledgeable and polite. The food was excellent, especially the black cod and sea bass. The wine which was recommended was a great compliment to the food. All in all a great time was had by all.

Great selection of dishes for both meat eaters and vegan/vegetarians. With unique. Well made cocktails to choose from. Loved the party atmosphere into the night. With a live dj. Excellent sound system and light show. An in depth 5 star review of sexy fish can be seen. Along with other high end Asian restaurant suggestions from me on my blog "Gone Sun Where"

After hearing mixed reviews on this place I was hesitant to book, so I opted for lunch and went for the set menu. Great value for a Mayfair name and would definitely go again. Food wise all pretty amazing, presentation for a set lunch menu was delicate and inviting. The only course I was not keen on was the tempura black cod - not for me but my friend loved it. Being a fan of black cod I felt it was too overpowering for the delicate cod which hid inside. Service great but some lack of knowledge of wine menu was a little disappointing, and we did wait a while for drinks. Atmosphere not amazing but it was a Tuesday afternoon so I can imagine this place is buzzing in the evening. Loved the over the top decor and it was obvious it was part of The Ivy group, which I love. Definitely good spot for a nice lunch and would go again.

A fantastic dinning experience that I would suggest to book in advance, specially on weekends. The decor is fantastic the food fantastic, but the service is a tale of two cities, food service amazing! Drinks was terribly slow (probably because so many people just come for a drink and overwork the bar staff). We tried the tasting menu, at £105 a person, you get to try 10 different magnificent dishes served as a sharing concept. Don't worry you get plenty as we actually got 2 plates of every dish. The dishes you get are: Smoked Salmon, sashimi, crispy calamari, Soft shell Crab Sushi Rolls, grilled sea bass, beef filet medallions and my personal favourite the Watermelon crispy duck salad ufff... You also get a miso soup and 2 lovely desserts, fresh doughnuts with warm chocolate and custard, and beautiful cheese cake. 10/10 for this meal.

Food was delicious but not exceptional. Fairly overpriced. Design of the restaurant is amazing. Service is okay. Focused on pushing dishes and drinks in a short amount of time. Just don’t let them push or rush you.

Have always wanted to visit here after rave reviews from a bestie. I was a little hesitant after some of the negative reviews but I needn't have been. Initial impression was I expected a more grand entrance. In line with current decor trends, the overly dark and moody aesthetic and blue lighting felt a touch dated. That's not to say it isn't a lovely venue, just my personal opinion. With this said, the venue does have a resident DJ giving the feel if a night club. After being let in by the doorman we were greeted at the front desk by two very competent attendants. Our coats were taken and we were shown to our table. Our table faced the bar, which feels on the outskirts of the action. I suspect it wasn't one of the best tables in the house, the central tables appeared to offer a more exclusive dining experience. Having forgot my phone I asked if I could get my coat but was told it would be brought to me. It's small details that singles out an establishment as high end. Our server was attentive and helpful when it came to making a decision about menu choices. I started with the squid which was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and very tasty. My partner had the beef skewers after his first choice had sold out. He thought they were great. I also had a cup of white miso soup which was delicately flavoured and made a pleasant change from standard miso. My main was smoked salmon with sweetcorn rice. The salmon and rice was nice though not spectacular. I was torn between salmon and the hake. I know Sexy Fish is known for its sushi over anything else but I wasn't in the mood for cold food. My partner went with the pork spare ribs and duck kimchee rice which he was delighted with. Their take on a passion fruit martini wasn't the best with the unnecessary addition of yogurt though their colada was lovely. The cocktail servings seemed smaller than standard which was a shame given the price. We decided to skip dessert as nothing took our fancy. Overall it was a lovely experience and birthday treat. Sexy Fish is a vibe. In terms of hot Asian food and cocktails, I'd choose Hakkasan.

If you are after delicious sushi and Japanese food, you need to come here. Not sure we would be able to enjoy sushi anywhere else after eating here, we've definitely been spoilt. Highly recommended.

The venue is cool and they have a Dj and dancers on the weekend. The food is good quality and amazingly presented. The staff polite and attentive. However the whole dinner experience seemed a bit rushed and I’m not impatient to go back or recommend it to friends that’s why I am giving it 4 starts. Also, if you want to go for the taster menu and one in the group is vegetarian or has other dietary requirements then the dishes need to be changed for the whole table rather than accommodate just the one person, I found this a bit of a let down. And each course is not individual but just a big portion to share, wasn’t a fan of this either.

Food was very good but not great enough to warrant the price tag. Food alone without drinks was £100/person. To be fair, I've tasted better food at lower prices. However, the innovation here is noteworthy. I did see some interesting food combinations. Service was very very good. Every waiter and cook were friendly to our babies. That said, music was way way way too loud for a conversation. So it made my babies go crazy. I wouldn't bring children here.

a great dining experience. Food in outstanding, we had the tasting menu. Plenty of food and good presentation and taste. Wine list is extensive and loads of cocktails. All finished off with doughnuts and chocolate sauce. Thumbs-up 👍

Incredible dining experience, we ordered a few dishes to share. The caramelised black cod and Salt and pepper squid were absolutely delicious 😋! Great music and ambience, quite busy for a Monday but can still hear one another over the music. Staff were amazing, explained each dish well. Only thing I would suggest is a wider range of mocktails. Otherwise everything was great!

I enjoyed the dishes at sexy fish. I will say that we were told we ordered a lit if food but we finished our meals, the portions aren't very big so if you have a large appetite, order a few dishes. I had the chicken wings (lovely!) prawn gyoza, black cod with steamed rice and doughnuts dessert (not that nice). I went on a Friday night and it was very lively with live music and a DJ. Good for a night out with friends. Service let it down, very very slow unfortunately but it was very busy.

We came to Sexy Fish for our company Christmas party, as we came here previously in 2019 and the experience was enjoyed by all. This was the first year we managed to come back. We all enjoyed trying the varied cocktails. The food was amazing as always, of particular note was the Wagyu fillet, and the pork belly skewers which were spectacular. The sushi ordered was also well received by all members of the party, and the wine and whisky recommendations were excellent as well. It is a bit of a shame you cannot have the table for longer than 2 hours, but I do understand this is their peak time.

The vibe, the food and the crowd are great. High end place in the rich area of London. You do need reservations all weekdays. Cocktails are nice. Service can improve, especially drinks.

Starter squid was quite good but the sushi was average. I was expecting something extraordinary from sushi and the rest in this type of high level restaurant. Wines are good as well. Try to book night slot after 9 and not before. It was quite sad to give the table back when the events was recently started.

Avarage good and loud environment - if you looking for a romantic dinner or great food experience just skip this place. Staff some of them are friendly, but a lot of them overstressed. I will be back? Definitely no! No great vibe, average food and overprice.

Really buzzing place, actually a very busy place. We were seated quickly and food came at good pace. Fairly pricey but food was good. The smoked sushi tuna was awesome. The doughnuts for desert was out of this world. Actually think i preferred these doughnuts than everything else

Heard a lot about them and gave it a try and it was fantastic. Food were tasty from starters to main, although I have had better kimchee rice elsewhere. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere there is pleasant. One real highlight for me was their doughnuts dessert as I adore them, it was a OMG moment!

Nice overall, good cocktails, very nice snacks and starters. Sadly this time failed completely with the mains, lamb was too salty and the king crab dry and fibrous. The service could’ve been better, but the amazing hospitality of the managing staff saved the day. Star dishes: 1. Calamari stater 2. Tuna tataki 3. Caviar starter 4. Oyster 5. chicken satay Stay away from: 1. king crab 2. Lamb main 3. Broccoli

best place ever. might be hard to get in if you don’t have a reservation but you can always get a drink. very expensive sushi but worth it. super nice staff and the atmosphere is really a vibe. their cheesecake is delicious

The food here was delicious. Each dish was bought out as soon as it was ready, warm & beautifully presented. They each had great flavours. Our favourite was the salmon, tasted smoky and cooked medium- tender, succulent, scrumptious sauce! To finish off with we had cinnamon donuts for dessert! OMG they were one of the best donuts we’ve ever tasted-soft and fresh. One downside was the music was a little too over powering, extremely loud, it was difficult to even hear eachother talk!

A must do in London. The dining room is beautiful and well decorated. Great cocktails, awesome sake selection. The food is very good but nothing crazy. I really liked the vibe and the shows. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely come back!

Incredible atmosphere, with a very suggesting decor. Sexy Fish really stands up with a great customer and amazing food. The menu is quite rich and a lot of interesting dishes, also well described. In terms of drinks, also a large selection and well displayed on their menu. However, it would be interesting to know more about the arome and intensity of the drink (basically how strong it is). overall, I def recommend 👌

Excellent food, I recommend the pre-set menu which sometimes gets people out of their comfort zone eating things they would not eat regularly. Cocktails also amazing. Prices comparable to similar restaurants in NYC. I like that it transforms from a restaurant atmosphere to a club atmosphere throughout the night. Service was excellent.

AMEX platinum gave us £150 credit at partnered restaurants, which led us to Sexy Fish. Waited 25 minutes for our reservation, but was asked to consider the guests waiting for our table at the end of our meal - I thought that wasn't very polite. Food & service from our host was great. Limited non alcoholic drinks menu, but all was still delicious. Picked 3 desserts and they all were great! - the 🍩 are highly recommended. This is a geniune 4.5 star establishment. Additional complimentary service needed to become 5*
