Went to watch my Partner's soul band Flo Collective. They're excellent! I had the Calabrese pizza and the Pizza Dolce for dessert. Both delicious. The service was very good...fast, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was amazing... everyone loved the band...people were up on their feet dancing around the tables. What a great night!

I love this venue for live acts, great atmosphere, because of the intimate surroundings the audience are alway respectful of the artist by not constantly filming and even worse talking above the artists. The staff are fabulous,always attentive and friendly and the food is lovely. Will always be my first choice of venue . Keep up the great work and see you soon

A great little venue. Live performances in the basement. Four bands performed short sets through the evening. Very entertaining and got in without pre booking, probably due to pandemic. Staff were attentive and friendly. Pizza to usual Pizza express standard.

Our group of Soul Music lovers absolutely love this place every time we go. Good food, great service, the atmosphere is just the best, the staff always pleasant. We go to many venues and this is by far our favourite. The LUL Fantastic Four highly recommend ‘Pizza Live’.

Waiter was a bit sullen but even so had a great time watching all the youngsters performing.

This was absolutely brilliant, although you are not allowed to choose where to sit almost all the seats are in a good place to have a good view. It was a bit chilly but after the singer asked for the air-conditioning to be off the temperature improved. It was a lovely date night on a Tuesday, something different. Service was good, the waitress was good, and the food was good! Although it can be quite expensive as you pay for the tickets and then food/drinks, so easily 100£ +

We showed up without a booking but lovely Deborah managed to find us a spot to enjoy the line show. She even was kind enough to move is front stage after some no shows. Excellent service!! Food was great too, the thin crusted Romana pizzas are very good. Espresso martinis were exceptional. Overall if you want a little bit more of a special night out try the amazing people at pizza express live Holborn.

Great food. I'm lactose and gluten intolerant so, befpre the show, I ate a pizza with chicken which was 10/10. The gig was excellent and the sound man, justin, is so good that I didn't even have to tell him what I needed in my monitor. The staff are friendly and professional and the atmosphere is top notch.

Saw Julie Dexter in concert here. What a brilliant evening. Great place to dine and watch a show!

I spent Wednesday night with "James Brown Is Annie" band. It was such an amazing performance, I was absolutely absorbed throughout the whole time. It starts around 8 and ends around 10:20 with a small break in between. However, I just hope if I could get a table in the middle. Even though I booked a ticket on Monday night, my table was quite on the side so I couldn't see the whole picture of the band🥲 So if you want the best seat, I guess you'd better book a table very in advance. However, the overall service and the performance was over my expectation so I really enjoyed the visit here.

Firstly the Pizza Express experience, the food was good as usual. Despite being crammed into a basement room watching The Great Arthur Brown doing his stuff , we were served with care and attention. Possibly not the best place to watch a gig, the room is not perfect and was never designed to host live entertainment, but very intimate. Having said that, it was still a great night. Full marks to Pizza Express for hosting these events. If someone I liked was playing there I wouldn't hesitate to go. Good food , great atmosphere.

I had a better experience than usual, but it is difficult for a ticket buyer to know where they might be seated. The staff is firm on not giving you a choice as they work out a seating chart in advance. It doesn't make sense to me why they don't have a plain tonic to go with gin. They are all heavily flavored tonics. The server was very friendly

We booked into pizza express live to see the brilliant Michael Duke perform and on our arrival we met up with Deborah who was the Hostess for the venue. She was totally amazing from the moment she greeted us at the door to the moment we left the venue. She showed us to our table for the night and went out of her way to make sure that we had a great night out. She made the whole live experience so much better than we had expected and nothing was any trouble for her. She was totally amazing so once again Deborah thank you for all that you did for us. As for the show it was absolutely brilliant, we have seen Michael Duke a couple of times now playing Bob Marley in “Get up Stand up” but he took it to another level singing a mixture of covers and his original songs. His vocal range is amazing and he truly deserves to be a star performer. We can’t wait to see him perform again !! As for the food at Pizza Express it was absolutely perfect, good choice on the menu and very good value for money. All the staff there deserve some credit as the whole live experience was faultless!! Thank you all and especially to Deborah and the fantastic Michael Duke *****

This is a great venue for seeing live concert performances by a range of different artists. You are so close to the artist which makes it a very different experience. You can also order food from the Pizza Express menu as the place doubles as a regular restaurant. This is then served to your table although you may be unable to order while the concert performance is ongoing. All in all, I'd recommend this venue if your favourite artist is playing there. It's well worth it!

We had a fantastic time on our first visit to Pizza Express Holborn Jazz Club, at the recent Peter White Gig on the 19th October 2022, after travelling down especially to see Peter White from Wilmslow, Cheshire, we were warmly welcomed by Deborah who did an excellent job explaining how it all works on the night, She was super helpful and polite. The music was fantastic, and the quality of the musicians were world class, never realised Peter White played with Al Stewart and was involved with Matt Bianco Etc Etc…. we also had Matt Goss’s piano player who stood in for Olli Silk at the last minute, Al Jarreau ex Saxophonist, Brian Culbertson ex drummer. Very good food and relaxed friendly atmosphere, really, really enjoyable night. Went to see a show at Pizza Express Live, Holborn last night! What a great intimate venue. Really nice place. Had a wonderful time. The manager, Deborah who we met last night was fantastic. It was a busy Friday night – but she looked after us so well. She was attentive – made sure everything was good with all the guests. We all had a great time! Thank you Deborah – look forward to seeing you at Pizza Express Holborn live again soon!

Had an amazing night watching the Korgis. I want to specifically call out Deborah the hostess and absolutely brilliant - me and friends who were on the guest list were really looked after & she was kind enough to share videos she'd taken with the band for them to use with their promo videos. It's clear she works on events like this because she loves the music. Great to meet you & hope to see you at the next event!!

Visited the live entertainment space downstairs for the first time last weekend to see a Steely Dan tribute band. Excellent little venue (seats maybe 100 to 150) underneath standard ground floor establishment. Food as per PE expectations, with staff as attentive as they could be in the circumstances (loud music!). Band was also excellent, although you would have had to be around in the 70s, or have inherited your dad's vinyl collection, to appreciate them fully!

Another fabulous night with the Mowtown Soul Revue. Fantastic band with talented singers and musicians in my favourite venue. The charming and welcoming staff and in particular Deborah made this another night to remember. Thanks to all at my favourite branch of Pizza Express for another memorable evening. 😊👍👏xxx 🥂

The most amazing venue for unique live music. Went to see a Pink Floyd tribute. Absolutely brilliant. Can't wait for the best evening there. Staff, food, venue, music and prices are all very reasonable

Great live music venue. Very intimate. Food is always fresh and delicious. I feel the staff are a big part of what makes or breaks an experience and we were lucky enough to get an amazing waitress called Anna. The best, most efficient, friendliest and lovely person. Thank you for making our evening even better ☺️.

I had a pleasantly unexpectedly great night at this venue. I had no idea it was going to be so private and professional. I had gone out with a few friends for some pizza and a bit of light entertainment. It turned out to be a venue that would be worthy of taking a girlfriend for a date night. It was very intimate secluded and low lightly. I will definitely be going back for another live night at this venue.

We booked for theatre peak time, 18.30 on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was packed, and the front of house manager could not have been more charming or welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. La Reine pizza, Lasagne, the Vegan salad bowl were our choices, with an excellent Chianti. Super place, thank you

Always love this venue for intimate live music. From the minute you arrive you're greeted by the ever-helpful, smiling hostess Deborah who makes sure you have a fantastic night from start to finish. Great programme of live music and really reasonably priced menu. Definitely worth a visit.
