Slightly disappointed as the average rating of 4.6/5 led us to choose this restaurant. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly. The food was not flavoured that well (either bland or too sweet). The meat and prawns were overcooked. Portion sizes were reasonable. Speed of service was acceptable but slightly on the slow side. Prices were above average.

Delicious Indian food! Meat prepared to perfection. Great options to go for a mild or too spicy, staff happy to help and advise. Good Indian beer on tap - Kingfisher👍

One of the diners in our group is intolerant to cows milk. We explained this to the fantastic waiter, Raj. He had a good understanding of the ingrediens in all the dishes. He helped us to pick out good options to cater for the intolerance. All the food served was really nice and tasty. Will definitely go back next time we are in London.

Taste of India provides a delicious dining experience, living up to its name with authentic flavors. However, current renovations around the Euston train station have led to road closures, making access to the restaurant a bit challenging. You might have to take a detour via the main road to get there from Euston station.

The food was so amazing!!! Well seasoned tandoori mix grill. Biryani was tasty. Fish curry was really well cooked and served with rice on request. The pershwari naan was the best I have ever had. The customer service was top notch, didn’t have to wait so long for my meal. Everything was 100/100.

What a great experience! This restaurant has AIR CONDITIONING, a welcome addition in London’s Summer weather. We capped off our vacation at this restaurant and were not disappointed. My lamb chops were delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Excellent Naan and spicy poppadom. Raj went out of his way to provide excellent service. One in our party ordered the lamb curry with extra spice and it was excellent. The salad and tomatoes were delightful. Can’t recommend Taste of India Euston enough! Quick walk from either Warren Street Station or Euston Station. Whole staff was attentive and professional.

If you love spicy food you definitely find here what you are looking for. Great flavours and so far the spiciest indian food i've ever had. When i started tearing up, i wasnt sure, if it was because of the spicyness or the deliciousness. I just couldn't stop myself! We ordered the chicken tikka masala, chicken jalfrezi and the tandoori chicken. The chutney tray had pickled lime and they were packed with flavour. Service was good!

Our server Raj made the day. He recommended we get the lamb shanks and he was dead on. The lamb was succulent and the sauce it was covered in was absolutely phenomenal. The chili garlic chicken is also a must have for spicy food lovers. Mixed appetizers were also a must have as they gave u a perfect taste of everything the restaurant has to offer. All in all I just want to thank Raj for the sublime hospitality and the fine conversations we had. Best indian food in London!!

Went in on the back of the great reviews. The vegi food was really bad. No taste and oily. Avoid

Well situated near Euston station, Taste of India offers an authentic Indian food & service experience. They serve most of the classic dishes and they tasted pretty good, full of flavor and spices! The butter chicken gravy was delicious and the meat really tender. Price wise, it seems to be competitive versus other Indian restaurants as it's not a fancy place and the interior is very simple.

This is a great place to eat before walking a few minutes to Euston train station. Staff were friendly, restaurant was clean and comfortable. Food prices were very reasonable for London and maybe even cheaper than in the Midlands. We all had poppadoms, dips, starter, main meal, rice, naan breads, and it was roughly £25 each. We had 4 different meals and all were hot when they got to our table. There was lots of seating in there and there was a steady stream of diners turn up while we were there, which I'd say was good as it was a Wednesday night. This restaurant is well worth a visit and we will go back next time we visit London.

Grabbed dinner for 2 for £42 & was very happy. The lamb naga was hot without being inedible (I like heat but too much to the point where it hurts isn’t a good time) & had a really good depth of flavour. The dhansak was a nice, thick consistency with plenty going on (girlfriend especially loved this). The earthy tarka dal was a nice accompaniment to go with the curries, basmati rice & a naan. Mint iced teas were decent too.

Food was amazing, the service made us feel like we were the most important people here. It's a short walk from kings cross so if hungry definitely go.

This restaurant is in a good location and owned by a very nice and pleasant man. The food was awesome and he was so nice to give me two free drinks on the house. You know for me a little kindness goes a long way. Cosy and friendly environments. You guys should stop by if you are in London.

Found this place via Google reviews so thought I should add to it. I'm still eating but have to write it up now. Everything I've eaten is top notch. The King Prawn Puri was the best I've had in a long time. Just what I needed after a long day trip to Liverpool and back.

Very easy to find. It's very close to Euston Station. The food is very tasty and well served. I had the butter chicken and the egg fried rice (I really recommend it). I also had the mango juice. After the meal I got a chocolate piece for free too. Everything was very delicious. The reception was very helpful. I would definitely go there again.

Traditional restaurant, delicious food and excellent service, we ordered Takara Dal soup with a Mixed Starter. We did not order rice but we tried the Garlic Naan bread with Chicken Korai which was very tasty and highly recommended.

It is not an Indian restaurant as its name claims, but a Bangladeshi one. But they serve most of the Indian dishes prepared in a bangladeshi style. We ordered chicken tikka, hHyderabadi biriyani both lamb and chicken, meat samosa and mango lessi. All were good enough where Hyderabadi biriyani did not keep justice to its name. But as a normal biriyani or spicy biriyani, ot was good. Since I have travelled in middle east and north India a lot, I am always a fan of hyederabadi biriyani and tasted it several times. So I know if you go to 10 restaurants claiming to have this biriyani, at least 8 would be wrong. Apart from this disappointment, everything related to service and other things were perfectly fine.

A visit to the iconic Drummond St home to London's very first Indian sweet shop and various Indian eateries after some 16 years; Lured into the Taste of India by the person sitting outside, we were cordially sat down. Whilst the food was mediocre the service could have been better to say the least. The Kulfi was the best.

It was an amazing experience to have Indian food. I forgot to take a photo of my Raga hot, but it was so scrumptious. I've literally enjoyed it. I would say it could be more spicy because for me or some Korean, it's not spicy. But I recommend you try Raga or the other spicy ones!
